  1. I have talked to my pastor and I feel that I'm ready to get baptized. It's a big step in my faith, but I feel like I'm ready to take such a step. I have always claimed to be saved since I was 4, although I never truly got saved until January of this year. And up until now, I've been working to improve my relationship with God. I finally feel that I'm ready to be baptized.

I just ask that you guys pray for me. I'll be praying for myself as well.

  2. 1. Please pray for my sisters, neither of them are right with God and I'm not so sure they wish to become right with God.

    2. A family member of mine may or may not have throat cancer. Please pray for her.

    3. Please pray for me. I'm still a new Christian and I have a hard time, sometimes.

    4. Please pray for this world. It's going downhill fast.

  3. I just want to praise God for being God. He is who He was thousands of years ago and He will be the same thousands of years in the future. I went to foot washing and communion last week and I felt the Spirit. Last week was the first time I'd actually taken foot washing and communion seriously, and I did have horrible hallucinations which I believe was Satan attacking me for it. But I praise God that He protected me from Satan.

  4. You just have to know that God has a plan. We can choose whether we take the path that he has laid out for us, because Jesus gave us free will, but if you trust in God, he will take care of everything. There's a little saying that I absolutely love. I don't know who originally said it, but I really like it:

"Want to hear God laugh? Tell him your plans."

I like that saying. To me, that means that God already has his plans laid out for you, and he makes no mistakes. You may be tested and go through hardships here on Earth, but it's all part of God's plan and if you believe and trust in him, you will make it through. God will take care of you. He knows what's best for you and that's exactly what he'll give you. He will give you what you need.

  5. I'm in need of prayer. I haven't been doing a very good job with being a Christian lately, and I want that to stop. I know that I won't be able to change without God, so I want you guys to please pray for me when you get the chance! I will be praying for myself as well.

  6. Hi, Malcom! Welcome to WCF. I hope it's not too late to answer to this post!

God always answers prayers. It's not always the way you want them to be answered, and it's not always right away. But he always answers prayers. It's not always the way you want them to be answered because if that's how God did things, just answering prayers the way others want them to be answered, we would have a LOT of problems in the world, we may not even have a world at all. God will always do what's best for you.

God did not abandon Rachel, he called her home. But whether or not she was a Christian decides whether she went to Heaven or Hell. Her death may even be a test of some sort. God is always testing us, not so that he knows whether or not we are loyal to him, he already knows the answer to that. but I believe that he tests us sometimes to help us grow stronger in him or show us something we need to learn.

    Blessings!

  7. I would like to ask you guys to pray for me. I've been having trouble recently with obeying God and ignoring my desires. I myself am praying about it, but I would really appreciate it if others could pray for my willpower to turn down my next worldly desire and that I'll remember God!
