    Found Spot On Sternum/Upcoming CT/Find Good Family Doc

    Almost 2 weeks ago I went to the urgent care because I'd been sick for a bit. I thought I might have pneumonia, but it turned out to be bronchitis. They took chest x-rays, and a spot was found on my sternum towards my left chest. They were concerned about breast cancer because my mom passed away of it 14 years ago at 51, and I am high risk for it. They told me to follow up w/my doctor because insurance would not pay for a CT scan if they ordered it.

    The pulmonologist had me retake the x-rays this Monday. I got a call today, and the doctor said there is nothing there, that my x-rays were perfect and showed nothing abnormal! I had some people praying for me, and I have been communicating with God. I told Him that I had almost 2 decades of health challenges, and I didn't think I could take any more, but if He wanted me to go through the valley that I would try to honor Him doing so. I prayed specifically that the spot would not be there when the x-ray retakes were done.

    *Psalm 107:19-20 Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent forth his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men. 
    *Jeremiah17:14 Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise. 
    *Mark 5:34 He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering."

    All I can say is hallelujah and He alone is worthy to be praised! For those of you that know Him, please join me in worshiping and praising Him! Thank you Lord!  Also, thank you to all of you that have been faithful in praying for me!  <3

    God Removed Spot on Sternum On X-Rays Retake!

    There's so much good stuff in this post!  I would give a detailed response, but I think I might write a book, lol.....too many thoughts!  Let me just say there are things I'm reminded of that were much needed.  Even some that I've forwarded on to others that were struggling in certain areas.  This is a really good post started long ago, and I hope some of the newer members can read over it too.  I think there's so much in here that it would most certainly help everyone, or spur them on in their walks.  Have a blessed day!

    There's so much good stuff in this post!  I would give a detailed response, but I think I might write a book, lol.....too many thoughts!  Let me just say there are things I'm reminded of that were much needed.  Even some that I've forwarded on to others that were struggling in certain areas.  This is a really good post started long ago, and I hope some of the newer members can read over it too.  I think there's so much in here that it would most certainly help everyone, or spur them on in their walks.  Have a blessed day!

    Health Update:  I wanted to follow up for all of those that have been praying for/with me.  Today my pulmonologist called.  She was unable to read the disc with the x-rays that the urgent care took.  So Monday, I have to retake my chest x-rays at another facility.  Then, she will determine how to proceed further and if I still need to have a cat scan.  I am praying that the spot will be gone as a testament to God's healing powers!  His will is going to be done!  My bronchitis is doing better, but the steroids are keeping me wired/causing sleeping troubles.  I will take that to be able to breath better.  Thanks to all of you that pray, encourage, and care for me!  I appreciate each and everyone of you!  <3  Love always in Christ, Gem
