  1. Many religious leaders realize that the days of the week have not changed. They claim that the Sabbath day changed from the seventh day (Saturday) to the first day (Sunday) in commemoration of the resurrection of Jesus. This theory, along with Constantine's law, is the reason why most of the world has adopted Sunday as the new Sabbath. Nevertheless, not one preacher or Constantine has ever substantiated this claim with the holy bible. Another common theory is "Saturday is the Jewish Sabbath and Sunday is the Christian Sabbath." However, the bible speaks of only one Sabbath, the seventh day, and it is called The Lord's Sabbath. "Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; Ye shall do no work therein: it is the Sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings" (Leviticus 23:3). There was no Christian or Jew when God instituted his Sabbath. "And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested..." (Genesis 2:3). Adam and Eve (created on the sixth day) were the only people around when God rested on the seventh day. This day continued to be special to God and over two thousand years later he ordered man to observe it (Exodus 20:8-11). Yes the Lord truly intends for man to follow the example he set by honoring the seventh day. Therefore, he included it in his "ten commandments." Observing the Sabbath is just as important as "thou shalt not kill" and "thou shalt not steal" (Exodus 20:13, 15). You cannot delete, change, or choose to obey one law over another. "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all" (James 2:10). Remember, they are not called the nine commandments. Though he has tried man cannot change the law of the Almighty and "Judgment day" will prove this. Jesus warned us about breaking the commandments of God to honor our own traditions in (Matthew 15:3-6). This is what people are doing by observing Sunday worship instead of God's fourth commandment. They claim to be worshipping the Lord, but Jesus declared, "But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men" (Matthew 15:9). Honoring the seventh day is a commandment of God from the beginning, while honoring the first day is a commandment of man from 321 A.D. Choose Life and live. Just like adultery, dishonoring the Sabbath was punishable by death (Exodus 31:14-15 and Numbers 15:32-36). There is no way we will escape if we ignore it. Honoring the Sabbath is an everlasting sign for true worshippers of God. "It is a sign between me and the children of Israel forever..." (Exodus 31:17). True Sabbath worship sets us apart or sanctifies us from the rest of the world. Many think the Sabbath is only for Israel. However, God is the God of all people. I ask you is "thou shalt not kill" only for Israel? NO! The Lord chose to reveal all of his laws to Israel, that through Israel they might be revealed to the whole world. In Exodus 12:49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you. The lord have not changed his ways. For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed (Malachi 3:6)
  2. Paul say in 2 Corinthians 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. Now any Christian in their right mind wouldn’t dare say that it’s okay to steal, kill or commit adultery or break any of the other seven commandments. But when it comes to the fourth commandment, people avoid it like a plague! They are either uninformed about which day is the Sabbath day of the God of the Bible or they are just following the tradition of religion that was passed down through the family or maybe they have let some preacher give them other excuses for ignoring God’s true day of worship. Every Sunday millions upon millions of people all over the world attend church services. To most it's an automatic occurrence and they have never given their actions a second thought. It probably would seem blasphemous for these people to change their day of worship. After all, this is the way of the world and has been so for some time. Nevertheless, the bible says that Satan has deceived the whole world (Revelation 12:9). Many people fail to realize that Sunday is the first day of the week. This ignorance is due to the fact that Monday is the first work/school day in most countries. However, Sunday is actually the first day of the week and Saturday is the seventh day. Any calendar, dictionary or encyclopedia will prove this fact. Some will argue that it's impossible to know which day is which. They believe the days have changed over time. However, the bible speaks of a seven day week and we still live according to this rule today. This is no accident. Past nations have even tried to shorten and lengthen God's weekly institution, but of course they failed. Man has also come up with names (after pagan gods) for the days, but it is no coincidence that each day is still known by it's perspective number (1-7). God has not allowed the days of the week to be altered over the centuries. Even during the sixteenth century when the world adopted our present calendar, the Gregorian, the days of the week did not change. Others will say that it really doesn't matter what day you attend church. "You should worship God everyday" or "everyday is the Sabbath day," they will zealously proclaim. Well, why has the world set aside Sunday as it's day of worship (there is a reason, which we will discuss later) instead of any and every day? Sure you should do well and think about God every day, but everyday cannot be the Sabbath day. God in his wisdom knew that man would be consumed with his daily activities. Therefore, he set one day aside for man to come together and worship him. Jesus say in (Mat.7:21) “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven”. For students to succeed in school, students learn to follow their teachers' instructions, and learn their lessons carefully. But few apply this method when they are dealing with the word of God. Is Jesus your Lord? Then why don’t you do the things he says. (Luke 6:46) “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say”? He told you plainly: (Ex 20:8-10) (v.8) Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. (v.9) Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: (v.10) “But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God”. The Sabbath begins at sundown Friday and last until sundown Saturday. (Each day starts in the evening, instead of at midnight, "and the evening and morning were the fifth day" Genesis 1:23). The entire bible stresses that it is of utmost importance that we observe (attend church) the Lord's Sabbath, the seventh (7th) day. It really does matter. "Saturday is the seventh day" (World Book Encyclopedia, Volume 17, 1989 Edition) Man realizes the importance of setting one day aside to worship God. Nevertheless, he has tried to change God's set time and law of Sabbath worship. "And he shall speak great words against the most High...and think to change times and laws..." (Daniel 7:25). This change went into effect on March 7, 321 A.D., by Emperor Constantine of Rome. Constantine, "...enjoined Sunday rest from labor, except agricultural" (Encyclopedia Britannica, Vol. 21, 1945). It is even recorded that Constantine used violence to enforce his new law, because the seventh day Sabbath was still being observed by true servants of God. Now if it would seem blasphemous for people to change their day of worship today, how do you think God felt when man changed his?
  3. Paul is talking about the priesthood laws, which include the animals sacrificial laws, in Hebrews 8, that is now considered obsolete. I'm not disagreeing just being more detailed, because some people believe the whole Old Testament is obsolete, not understanding all that good prophecy written by the prophets, things that have not yet to come. Look at what Peter said in 2 Peter 1: 19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. See, the Lord had the Holy ghost in the Old Testament, so Peter say we a more sure word of prophecy. At that time the apostles had just the Old Testament, we have both. But if we go back and see where Paul got Hebrews 8, from, we'll find the prophet Jeremiah 31: 31 ¶ Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Majority of the apostles preaching came from the Old Testament. peace in Jesus name.
  4. The Lord see the righteous and the unrighteous within all nation, but the Lord have always have a protocol on have he do things. Let's take a look at a situation in Acts 10: 1 There was a certain man in Cæsarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, 2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway. Notice: Cornelius which was a Italian, fear God, and prayed to God always. This is a good example on how God expect are spirits to be towards him. When a person fear God that are keeping his commandments, statutes, and judgments. Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. 3 He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. 4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God. 5 And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter: Notice the protocol, the angel was sent to Cornelius, and cornelius was sent to Peter. The angel could of told Cornelius all things, but he didn't. Lets check out another example of the protocol in Revelation 1: 1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: 2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. So God gave to Jesus Christ and Jesus sent it to his angel, and the angel went to the servant John, and now we have it.
  5. Sounds personal, I can't read that in the word of God. Good Luck with that.
  6. I agree with the verses you quoted from Paul. Which is the reason why I teach the uncut word of God. The bible speaks of only one way to get eternal salvation. "One Lord, one faith, one baptism" (Ephesians 4:5). As far as other nations been more righteous. All nation have disappointed the Lord, even before Israel, and after, which is this day. I wouldn't say that Jacob (Israel) was more righteous, because moses said in Deuteronomy 7: 6 For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. 7 The Lord did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: When I look into the future, and see that the Lord will bring Israel out of captivity from the four corners of the earth, and put them back in the same position, and this time that will do right. That let let me know that God can take any nation and make correction, to do his will. Let's go into Deuteronomy 30: 1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath driven thee, 2 And shalt return unto the Lord thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; 3 That then the Lord thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath scattered thee. 4 If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the Lord thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: 5 And the Lord thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers. 6 And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. Ezekiel 44 Ch explain more details in the future.
  7. I'm sorry I rather not speak personally, people on this forum will take my experience and mock it. Its best to just stick to the scriptures and verses in the word of God. Actually Paul is a good example of what you are asking of me. When you really dealing with this word of God like Paul and, if you love Jesus you will keep his commandments (St. John 14:15). You will not displease the Lord by: Worshipping other gods, having graven images, taking his name in vain, breaking his Sabbath day (which is Saturday not Sunday), or dishonoring your parents. On the other hand, if you love your neighbor as yourself you will not kill him, commit adultery with his spouse, steal from him, falsely accuse him, or covet anything of his. This is true love, and if obeyed how much better would our world be? This is why Jesus said that the two greatest commandments are loving the Lord with all your heart, soul, and mind; and loving your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:35-40). These two commandments are the foundation of the entire law. Many reject the law, but it is HOLY, JUST AND GOOD (Romans 7:12) even today. When you do all these thing, you are not going to be liked and love by the world. Jesus said in John 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. :19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. In other words...get out of the world!
  8. I don’t know your nationality, but what you have to understand is that every word that was written in the Bible was written by an Israelite. For what purpose did the Lord choose the children of Israel? This question start at the foundation in the Word of God, the prophets, the Old Testament brothers and Sisters..."Hear this word that the Lord hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying, you only have I known of all the families of the earth: Therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities." (Amos 3:1-2) Now this need to be understood, brothers and sisters, because this still stands today. Because Israel is the key…brothers and Sisters, in fact the whole Bible was written by Israelites (Jew). The lord had Paul to write in Romans 15: 4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Lets go into (Exodus 19: 1-6) Let's look at the 5th & 6th vs.; "Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: (6th vs.) and ye shall be unto me a Kingdom of Priest, and a holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel." Is this law for the children of Israel only? No. (Leviticus 24: 22) "Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: For I am the Lord your God." The word of God came through Israel, written by Israel, taught by Israel, spoken by Israel. Paul said in Romans 3: 1 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? 2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God. The lord have not changed his ways. For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed (Malachi 3:6) or Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. If you are a Gentile or from any other nation, and you are being taught by another Gentile or nation, who have not been taught by a Hebrew Israelite, (who keeps the commandments, statues and judgments), then there’s going to be a lot of miss understanding and miss leading. The question is How can one who is not of the lineage of Israel, become partakers of the covenant of God? Lets take a look into (Ephesians 2:11-22) let’s look at the 11th through 13th verses. "Wherefore remember, that ye being in the time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called uncircumcision by that which is called the circumcision in the flesh made by hands; (12th vs.) That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenant of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: (13th vs.) But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ." This lesson is for another time, hope this help jumpstart your understanding.
  9. 1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
  10. 1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
  11. Need to see scriptures and verses now, to much not explaining yourself.
  12. Jesus said in (John 17:3-4) (v.3) And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. (v.4) I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. Yes Jesus did much work. He is the captain of our salvation and the captain is leading by his example, by his works. Paul said in (Phil. 2:12) Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Now if you need not work, then why is Paul telling you to “WORK” out your own salvation, and pay close attention because he also says with “fear and trembling”.
  13. Lets go into (Ezek. 33:30-32) Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the Lord. (v.31) And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness. (v. 32) And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not. Hopefully the time will come when you realize that you need more than lip service when it comes to serving the Lord. You must learn what thus saith the Lord, and do it!
  14. Paul said in (Gal. 6:3-5, 7) (v.3) For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. (v.4) But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. The book says let every man prove his own work, and if your work is good then you will rejoice in it. (v.5) For every man shall bear his own burden. That’s right; every man must bear his own burden. You mean you thought that all you had to do was confess the name of Jesus and that was it? Brothers and sisters you must work to get salvation. (v.7) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. God is not to be played with. Whatsoever you plant, that’s what you are going to reap. Be it good works unto eternal life, or evil works unto eternal damnation. The choice is yours, and your works belong to you. Don't sound like you and Paul on the same page!
  15. Allow me to add Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. A man would do well is he or she takes heed to a wise man.
  16. In the scriptures its written in Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
  17. To repent means to turn from our sinful ways and start obeying God's law. The water baptism signifies the washing away of our past sins. After repenting and being baptized in the name of Jesus it would be foolish for us to turn around and willingly break God's commandments. If we make an honest mistake Jesus can help us, but if we sin willingly, look out! "...there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation..." (Hebrews 10:26-27). When Jesus died only the sacrificial law was done away with, alone with Leviticus priesthood. We still must obey all of God's laws and statues of conduct, from the Ten Commandments to the least commandment. We cannot choose to obey one without obeying the others. For instance, if it's still good to pay tithes (as many preach), then it is still good to obey God's dietary law (not eating pork, catfish, etc...Leviticus 11: 1-47. Similarly, you cannot purposely trip a blind person (Leviticus 19:14) and claim to love your neighbor as yourself. Neither can you break God's Sabbath days (Leviticus 19:30) and claim to love God with all your heart, soul and mind. Many fight to uphold man's traditional holidays (Sunday the 1st day as the Sabbath, Christmas, Easter and Halloween), but few are obeying God's Holy Days (Saturday the 7th day Sabbath, the Passover, Pentecost, etc…Leviticus 23: 1-44. All of God's laws are still good and must be obeyed if we want eternal life. We might not be able to observe everything perfectly, but can fight a good fight. If we do this our prize awaits us at the end. "...if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments" (Matthew 19:17).
  18. Where is your scriptures or verses to prove anything. Didn't Paul say in 1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. In the scriptures it written in Proverbs 15:14 The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness.
  19. Interesting, you should add verses or scriptures to have more of a form of proof to what you saying.
  20. Just like Peter said in 1 Peter 4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? I hope so!
  21. I agree with, but that comes with The commandments of God are which are not hard to keep (I John 5:3) and furthermore, they teach us love in the highest degree. If you love Jesus you will keep his commandments (St. John 14:15).
  22. Born again is a change in the body not the mind, but those who don't really read the Bible will not understand. Lets go into John 3:1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Notice verse 3, except a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. We have just learned something here. If you are not born again you can not see the kingdom of God. As we go further you will understand this. Remember there is a time for everything. Nicodemus asked a very good question. Take a look at the next set of verses. John 3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. In verse 5, born of the water in this case is the Word of God. Notice the Lord mentions the kingdom of God again, but He adds a little more information. He says "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. When he mentions spirit He means exactly that. Watch how the Lord gives something physical to describe exactly what He means. John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Notice He made a difference between flesh and spirit. John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. Notice He compared the wind to a spirit. Can you see the wind? No! We have seen things being blown around by the wind, but we have never seen the wind. If you are born of the spirit you are like the wind. This is when you are truly born again, when you are born of the spirit.
  23. Let's take a look at this the way Jesus said in Matthew 13: 18 ¶ Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. 19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. 20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; 21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. 22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
