  1. Jesus was a carpenter, show me in the BIble where Jesus had a 9 to 5 job and broke the sabbath day to work! I understand in these days some people have to work or they will lose there jobs, so I'm not speaking of those type situation. Since you telling me to be careful, I'll allow you to show me...please paste scriptures and verses as I do. Lets keep these scripture in mind while you looking...lets go into Number 15: 32 ¶ And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day. 33 And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation. 34 And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him. 35 And the Lord said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp. 36 And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the Lord commanded Moses. The lord have not changed his ways. For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed (Malachi 3:6) or Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
  2. With all the different Bible translations we have floating around, it seems a hard task to choose the most accurate one. You might even question the fact of there being an accurate account of the Bible, aside from the original Hebrew Scrolls. Much of this confusion has come about because many modern day religious translators have attempted to interpret the Bible, instead of merely translating it. Therefore, when they translate the Bible they add, change or delete certain words to make it confirm to their religious doctrine. God was aware that this would happen and had John write, "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book: If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophesy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." (Revelation 22:18-19). When King James had the Bible translated he appointed 54 scholars to do the work instead of religious people. This made it possible for him to change the form, from Hebrew and Greek to English, without changing the meaning. In other words he made the Bible say the exact same thing, only in another language. This in itself was a fulfillment of prophecy, "For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people" (Isaiah 28:11).
  3. Paul don't agree with you, he said in (Rom. 7:7,12) (v.7) What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, THOU SHALT NOT COVET. Paul asked a question, is the law sin? He said God forbid, he said the only way that he knew what sin was, was by the law. (v.12) Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. Why in the world would a Christian want to do away with something that God said is holy. (Rom. 4:15) Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression. If there is no law there is no sin.
  4. I already showed you the words of Jesus and all is not fulfilled. I didn't write the book, so again Jesus said Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:17-19)
  5. Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. (Matthew 5:17-19) Now, if the Jesus said think not that I came to destroy the law, let's reason together, what do destroy mean; to take away, etc, right. So that simply means that the law is still on the table and the prophets Jesus couldn't destroy the prophet because he had to fulfilled all of what the prophets wrote about jesus and what he had to do. First of all, all is not fulfilled, let's look at this again For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Now, pay attention: is heaven and earth still here? Let's look at the heaven and earth pass, lets go to Revelation 6 chapter 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. Brother and Sisters this has not happened yet. Looks like the Law (commandments) still on the table.
  6. You entitled to your opinion, but on the other hand you are calling me liar. Now that's Judging! Let's go into Matthew 13: 9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. 10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. 13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. You have convince yourself that I don't know, but yet you keep asking....on the other hand I haven't recall reading anything by you saying, you agree with me. Your whole way of being towards me is like a serpent. Jesus says in Matthew 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. Also Jesus says in Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
  7. Always post the verses, you really should get in the habit of doing that, makes the world of difference. The Pharisees of today (meaning the preachers) teach the doctrine of men, by making statements such as, "We are not under the law we are under grace.” Not knowing which law we are no longer under. Therefore their flocks are ever learning, meaning not coming to the true faith. Thus they worship the Lord in vain. Let's cut to the chase, and see if the passage above has anything to do with doing away with dietary law. And he called the multitude, and said unto them, “Hear, and understand: Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.”(Matthew 15:10-11) So what is this that comes out of men's mouths that defiles them? Let's skip to the 15th verse These are verse and see if the Lord is doing away with His dietary law. Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable. And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding? Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.” (Matthew 15:15-20). Note what the Lord says, "Those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man." Now we see brother and sisters that, this set of verses has nothing to do with the dietary law being nail to the cross. In fact the Lord tells the apostles what defiles men and that is breaking His commandments, note eating with unwashed hands.
  8. In the scriptures its written in Leviticus 11: 43 Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby. 44 For I am the Lord your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 45 For I am the Lord that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy. 46 This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth: 47 To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten. You can read the whole chapter on your own from the begining, but lets see Paul touch on this a little in Ephesians 5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Paul said in 1 Thessalonians 4:7 For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. Now lets understand and reason together, Paul just gave us a rundown on condition of sins. People who are behaving in such manner will not inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God, even those who are unclean. Being unclean does not mean a person doesn’t wash up, we are not talking about soap and water. We are talking about defiling the body, with unholiness or unGodliness. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 3:17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. 1 Peter 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
  9. It's like a person with a full bucket of water, and they asking a person to pour fresh water in their full bucket water, how do you think that's possible or make sense. They person must empty a good portion of the water in the bucket, before new water can be pour in.
  10. First of all God had Peter to clearly warn you about some of Paul’s writing. (2Peter:3:15-16) (v.15) And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; (v.16) As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. Now you need to take heed to this warning, you can’t ignore all the bible and just concentrate on one or two verse out of the writings of Paul. Because some of Paul’s writing is hard to be understood. I explain Galatians 2: 16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. 17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. 18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. 19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. 21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. The works of the law Paul is talking about here is the animal sacrificial law. Paul explained this in; (Heb.10:1, 9-10,18,26-27) (v.1) For the law (what law, the law of animal sacrifice?) having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. (v.9) Then said he, (Jesus) Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first that he may establish the second. (v.10) By which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. When Jesus died on the cross that was the end of the first covenant, which consisted of the blood of animals and the keeping of God’s commandments. And his death also brought in the second covenant, which consist of the blood of Jesus and the keeping of God’s commandments. (v.18) Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. In other words, no more animals are going to die for your sins. (v.26) For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins. Now do we understand what’s being said here? If you sin willfully after you have knowledge of what the truth is, no more animals are going to die for you. (v.27) But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. Now if you are being deceived into believing that once you are under God’s grace you no longer have to keep his commandments, all you have to look forward to is the day of judgement and the lake of fire (fiery indignation). Paul said in Romans 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Look at what else Paul said in (Rom. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. You have read all of Paul writing and get understanding.
  11. Even if I was wrong, (which I'm not) don't take that the wrong way, the way I say it. I rather keep the Law Commandments, then not keep them. A least I can say to the Lord in Judgement Day; A man asked you (Jesus) this very question, "...What good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?", and you (Jesus) replied, "... KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS" (Matthew 19:16-19). What the real harm, to get baptized, keep the sabbath day on the seventh day of the week, not steal, kill, commit adultery, etc.
  12. Answer this in (1John 2:3-4) (v.3) And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. (v.4) he that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. Do you agree with this...yes or no.
  13. Think about yourself for minute...think! There's no way I'm going to believe you are sincere about learning how to keep the sabbath day, when you talk about me the way you do. That's not right at all. You and your friend both just replying, jumping on me, calling me names, saying all types of stuff. The sabbath day on the seventh day of the week, run all through the Bible, not just in the OT. Jesus say in John 7:7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil. You post unlearn question...I showed you where Paul taught on the Sabbath day and a whole city of Gentiles wanted to learn on the next sabbath day. The apostles kept the Sabbath day as well after the death of Jesus, so why change in our day. If you are a true Christian, which means a follower of Christ or to be Christ like; then why are people following a day set up by man? We have proved that Paul kept the Lord’s sabbath well after the death and resurrection of Christ. So why are you going to church on the first day of the week? Well if you don’t know history will tell you why. ORIGIN OF SUNDAY WORSHIP Ample evidence from history shows that the celebration of Sunday originated from pagan practices of SUN WORSHIP. In March of 321 A.D., the Roman Emperor Constantine, who was at first a sun-worshiper and later a Christian convert, issued the first decree declaring Sunday to be a legal day of rest. In 336 A.D., the Roman Catholic Church officially changed the observance of Sabbath to Sunday for political and economic expediency. Since then, the original Sabbath gradually gave way to Sunday observance and the practice remains to this day.
  14. Lol...she told you she hate when I say that...good. I really want people to learn and I know if a person read the Bible with a pure heart, they would understand just about everything saying and not take this thing personal. In the scriptures it's written in Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. The Bible is our instruction manual, so if Jesus say to do something then we have to do it. If we truly love God, then we will obey, “Every word" that proceeds out of the mouth of God, because we know that man shall no live by bread alone (Matthew 4:4). It's only so many verses in the Bible where Paul talks about the animal sacrificial laws, which are the ones nail to the cross, but after you post those verses, then I have the rest of the Bible telling us we have to keep the or Commandments. Jesus say in Luke 6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. So I understand that you and the others have to talk about me the way that you do. Remove the stony heart and you can see what I'm saying.
  15. People we must realize, that it is the keeping of God’s holy laws that separates the righteous from the unrighteous. Lets continue in 1 Timothy 1: 1:8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 1:10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; Yeah ...so Paul is saying a whole lot here people. How can a person be disobedient in God's eyes. How can a person be unholy or a sinner, because sin is transgression of the law. Lets read it in (1John 3:4) Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Now we have just read the biblical definition of sin, the transgression (breaking) of the law (commandments.) It doesn’t matter what you or I think sin is, it’s what God says sin is that counts. I'm posting Paul write out of the Bible and people having a problem with those things, because they don't want change in their lives. Its like you have all this Bible written by Apostles and prophets of the Lord, and certain people just decided to do they own thing. A wolf is not going to give you scriptures and verses on how to love the Lord for salvation. A wolf is not going to preach thou shall not steal or kill...etc, with verses from the Lord. A wolf is not going to preach the Law. A wolf is about destruction of the spirit, the spirit of a wolf in sheep's clothing talks a lot and can't show their conversation with the Bible. A wolf is carnal minded, Jesus says get baptize, the wolf says nope! We don't have to get baptized, Jesus did all. Jesus says to get eternal life keep the Commandments, the wolf say nope! We don't have to do that...carnal minded people! So if you being taught to keep the commandments and you refuse to keep them...you really think you have a good chance to get in the kingdom. Paul explain this in Romans 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Paul said, A person that does not keep the law (commandments) is carnal minded and a carnal minded person is enmity against God. Means you got a problem with God. Now if you keep the law (commandments), you are in the spirit of God, you don't walk with a fleshy mind, but a spiritual mind, so you do the things that pleases God. That’s simple.
  16. Now I see, how you double talk. You just post that you keep the law (commandments), you told me not to assume that you don't keep them. Then you post that I'm a hypocrite because I teach the law, but you saying you keep them to. 2 Peter 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. All this drama you doing and you saying that you keep the law (commandment). Now any Christian in their right mind wouldn’t dare say that it’s okay to steal, kill or commit adultery or break any of the other seven commandments. But when it comes to the fourth commandment, people avoid it like a plague! They are either uninformed about which day is the Sabbath day of the God of the Bible or they are just following the tradition of religion that was passed down through the family or maybe they have let some preacher give them other excuses for ignoring God’s true day of worship.
  17. I'm not here to Judge people, just to teach the uncut word of God. Bring those to repentance, preach the Gospel. Not trying to offend anybody. Understand that we in a world where if scriptures and verses are not used then people will say anything out their mouths that's not written, and you have others that will quickly believe. (Rev. 22:11) He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still: In other words be whatever you choose to be.
  18. The Lord bless me to teach the uncut word of God, and if you are really keeping the Lord's commandments then stop post we don't have to keep the laws. Evidently you don't understand something. Jesus says in Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. If you really read the Bible you should of known someone like me was coming! Paul say in Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
  19. You ask me how to keep the Sabbath day, because you knew you was really trying to set me up in some kind of a way. You knew in your heart that you not trying to learn about the sabbath day on the seventh day of the week as its written all through the Bible. I understood what you was doing, because if you really want to keep the sabbath day like Jesus did you will simply read the Bible. You foolishly telling me that a person can't keep the law, but a person and can go to church on the first day of the week Sunday, all theirs lives and not steal, kill, commit adultery, etc. You telling me that there's no church on earth that keeps the sabbath day on the seventh day of the week. Paul says in Romans 11: 4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. God have people out keeping his laws from birth, never dealt with paganism or any other God. You don't really read the Bible or understand what you reading, but you like talk a lot. Lets go into Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. This is our future, looks like we have saint in the future who keep the commandments and the faith...and you say it can't be done. You and the Bible are not seeing eye to eye! Paul say in Gal. 3:1, 13, 16-17, 19, 24) (v.1) O FOOLISH Ga-la’-tians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? (v.13) Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, CURSED IS EVERYONE THAT HANGETH ON A TREE: What law is this talking about? Let the bible speak for itself. (v.16) Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, and to seeds, as of many; but as of One, AND TO THY SEED, which is Christ. (v.17) And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. Now pay attention, the law that is being spoken of here came four hundred and thirty years after this covenant. But God’s holy commandments have been around forever even before man was created. Remember that Satan was kicked out of heaven because iniquity (sin) was found in him. And what is sin? The transgression of the law (commandments). (1John 3:4) Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Now we have just read the biblical definition of sin, the transgression (breaking) of the law (commandments.) It doesn’t matter what you or I think sin is, it’s what God says sin is that counts. (v.19) Wherefore then serveth the law? A question is being asked here. Then why should we serve this law? It was added because of transgression, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; the law that we are talking about here was added because of sin. But we now know that sin is the transgression of the law. How do you add a law if sin is the transgression of the law? Because there are two sets of laws, you have God’s holy commandments which abided forever, and you had the animal sacrificial law which was added because of sin, but it was only good until the seed should come to whom the promise was made, and that seed was Jesus. (v.24) Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. This animal sacrificial law was only a schoolmaster. And this schoolmaster taught you that when you sinned in ignorance blood had to be shed (an animal sacrificed). But Christ being the ultimate sacrifice shed his precious blood once and for all, and by doing this putting an end to the animal sacrificial law. If you are following all of the writing of Paul, then you will find out that you are following Jesus, and if you are truly following Jesus then you are following the law of God.
  20. It's amazing how people have Bible in their possession and refuse to read them, follow simple example that Jesus and the apostles did. You show me in the Bible where you need not keep the sabbath day, using verses and scriptures. Apostle Paul understood this he knew and kept God's law including the seventh day sabbath on the seventh day of the week. Now let's take a look at; (Acts 13:13-15, 42, 44) (v.13) Now when Paul and his company loosed from Pa’-phus, they came to Per’-ga in Pam-phyl’-I-a: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem. (v.14) But when they departed from Per’-ga, they came to An’-ti-och in Pi-sid’-I-a, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down. Paul went into the church (synagogue) on the sabbath day the seventh day not the first day (Sunday). (v.15) And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on. (v.42) And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath. The Gentiles didn’t asked Paul to come preach us something different next Sunday. They wanted Paul to preach to them the same thing that he taught the Jews, the next sabbath. Even the Gentiles knew that if they were going to serve the same God that Paul and the Jews (Israelites) served that they would have to serve him on the day that God had set up. (v.42) And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God. Not the next Sunday but the next sabbath. If was not for the sabbath day on the seventh day of the week according to the Bible, there wouldn't be a church day for the first day of the week, Sunday. I as a bible student have examined the bible testimonies on the first day of the week, there are eight to be exact, and without exception they are silent as to any of the disciples observing Sunday as a holy day. How is it possible that these accounts, written over 40 years after the crucifixion, have neglected to mention Sunday sacredness? There is no biblical support for the changing of God’s holy sabbath from the seventh day (Saturday) to the first day (Sunday). None of this is out of context, just uncut word of God. Yeah you defend your partner when wrong is done to me, not taken heed to what Paul say in Roman 2:11 For there is no respect of persons with God. Read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, get back to with scriptures and verses, enough of all this free lance talking. Again you must work unto the end. (1Peter 1:15-17) (v.15) But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all Manner of conversation; (v.16) Because it is written, BE YE HOLY; FOR I AM HOLY. (V.17) And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: It says you had better be holy, because God is holy. And it also says that ye call on the Father, but you had better remember that he is going to without respect of person judge every man according to his work. So you better pass your time here on earth in fear. Let's go into (Rev. 20:12-13) And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Who are you allowing to teach you that you need not work to serve the Lord of this bible? (v.13) And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and dead and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. Don’t allow anyone to deceive you! You will be judged according to your works. Jesus say in Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Praise the Lord...in Jesus name
  21. WOW! I wonder if Cobalt1959 is going to jump on my side now...lol So you calling me a hypocrite and I'm posting Jesus words as well. For example Jesus said: (John 14:15) If ye love me, keep my commandments. So this is what makes a hypocrite..posting Jesus, but you can post Jesus calling me a hypocrite teachers of the law and Pharisees. The only way you can use this verse on me, is if I preach the law (commandment) and didn't keep it myself. Like if I preach keeping the sabbath day on the seventh day of the week and went to church on the first day of the week, that would make a hypocrite. But Jesus custom was that he kept the sabbath. Let's go into Luke 4: 14 ¶ And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. 15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all. 16 ¶ And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. I must be a hypocrite now, cause I just post Jesus keeping the Law.
  22. First of all, you the only one who ask about keeping the sabbath day, but now you speaking others. I explain to you and others that the animal sacrificial law, which consist of levitical priesthood laws are the laws thats nail to the cross. Let go into Hebrews 7: 11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? 12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. Hopefully you understand which law was nail to the cross. Jesus Christ (John 1:1-3, 10-14) is the one who rested on the Sabbath day and commanded that you do the same. If you really understood the scriptures you would realize that He was the one who became known as Jesus who gave you the Ten Commandments. So not only did He command you to cease from your work on that day He also commanded you to. (Lev.23:3) “Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an holy convocation;” He said on the Sabbath day that you should also have an holy convocation, which means holy gathering or simply put, go to church. Jesus made it clear that the seventh day was made for mankind. (Mark 2:27-28) (v.27) And he said unto them, The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath: Do we understand that, the Sabbath was made for us, not us for the Sabbath. (v.28) Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath. The Son of man (Jesus) is the Lord God of the seventh day Sabbath (Saturday). In (Ex.31:16-17) (v.16) Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. (v.17) It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed. You see that the Sabbath day is a sign between God and His people forever. Israel was and is His people then and whoever chooses to obey Him now are His people. God intended for the weekly Sabbath (this word means rest in Hebrew) to be a refreshing blessing for mankind. God knew that human beings would need periodic rest and change from work. But the purpose for keeping God's Sabbath goes far beyond simply resting on that day. (Ex. 20:8-11) (v.8) Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. (v.9) Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: (v.10) But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thou thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thou maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: (v.11) For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. This is the sabbath day of the Lord God of this bible and every seventh day of the week (Saturday) is holy, that’s what hallowed means. And the Apostle Paul understood this he knew and kept Gods law including the seventh day sabbath
  23. Please take the time and post scriptures and verses the same way I do, so I can understand. Paul say in 1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. So if I'm wrong you prove it, with Book...post out the hold scripture or verse. Jesus died on the cross, went to the grave for three days and three nights, so Jesus couldn't of went to paradise with with the thief that day. Unless you think paradise is the grave...lol
  24. I made a correction on that last post. Seems as if you decided to choose a side, and I also notice that you speak without scriptures and verses. Don't say I don't really answer questions, just because I haven't got around to answer one of yours. I don't know how the SDA keep the sabbath day. You can find a SDA and give them a call and ask. All that I have written on this forum I written through scriptures and verses. If you take the time and go back and read all my of what I post, concerning Faith and works, maybe you will get some understanding. The bible speaks of only one way to get eternal salvation. "One Lord, one faith, one baptism" (Ephesians 4:5). Some people have a problem with getting baptized and Jesus say so to do. The road to eternal salvation starts with knowledge of the Holy Scriptures. God doesn't want us to memorize two or three verses, but instead he left the entire bible so we can learn how to get salvation. If we learn it, believe it and obey it (the bible), salvation will be our reward. A man asked Jesus this very question, "...What good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?", and Jesus replied, "... KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS" (Matthew 19:16-19). Either one agree with Jesus or disagree. Here's the confusing with people, not understand the power of that verse we just read. Some people say, "I know that," but not for salvation! Here's the thing, if we don't keep the commandment, then we have a problem with receiving eternal life. If you go back and Blueeyedjewel most a verse from Paul saying something like the work of the law for righteousness is no more. I then showed her two set of verses where Paul talks about two different set of laws. Theres two different types of work Paul talks about, one is repentance for salvation the other is animal sacrificial law which consist. People we must realize, that it is the keeping of God’s holy laws that separates the righteous from the unrighteous. In (Titus: 3:8) This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. You must learn (by the word of God) what God expects of you and maintain his expectations to the end, if you expect to be saved. The bible says, we must not only be a hearer of the word, but a doer of the word also (James 1:21-22). DON'T FOOL YOURSELF! If we really have faith in Jesus our actions will prove it. If Jesus is our Lord then we will obey him. Even a child will obey a parent, by getting good grades in school, for the reward of a new bicycle. The child cannot earn money for the bicycle, but instead must act upon their faith to receive the free gift. We must do the same to receive eternal life. "FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD"(James 2:20).
