  1. I have asked this question to different members of the clergy, they have all stated that the bible says believers all have guardian angels, which is what the bible says. They have also stated the bible does not say either way and they do not know the answer. So do non believers also have guardian angels before they confess and trust jesus as their Lord and Savior. God knows before you were born if you are going to accept him or reject him. So are there guardian angels to guide you towards salvation and through the rough times before you accept jesus Christ. OR is it done solely through the Holy Spirit

Thanks and God bless you all

  2. Good evening all, my wife co-worker is hounding her to attend Iglesia ni cristo bible study and church services. They are both from the Philippines. My wife was a Roman Catholic in the PI and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior 2 years after coming to the US in 1993. My wife goes to the bible study and ask the person leading the bible study different questions. The person asked my wife if I would want to go, she told them NO WAY I would go there for a bible study.

I tell my wife the church is a fake religion and they will bend the bible to make it seem like what they are saying is the truth. I tell my wife she should not go and after she comes home I ask her what was taught. I tell her do not be fooled, do not forsake who Jesus is.

I do not know, I guess I just needed to tell someone this. My wife works all the time and the bible study is on Sat nights and she happens to have off every other weekend and she wants to go to a place where they study the bible. I wish there was another place near where we live but there is none.

I feel sad for my wife she wants to grow and learn and worship our Lord, and this is the only place there is too go.

Sorry if this is not the right place to post this, Peace and Love to ALL, and may Jesus be with you all today tomorrow and Forever

  3. Hello, hope you are in great health and Spirit

You asked: How do I prevent my own pet from getting chipped? Answer - you do NOT take it too any place that does it. I do not believe it should be done, because once it is done and accepted, it (implants - chips ) will only become more acceptable and done in humans

Have a great day or night, Peace and Love Tony

  4. Just a couple of simple questions - if the worship place of God is for all people, why have a USA flag in that place? If the Christian faith transcends one nation or one group of people, should not the only FLAG be the Christian flag or christian symbol.

My questions might seem simple minded to some, but I am interested in a wide range of things, from the very simple questions to the most advance discussions

Have a great day or night depending on when you read this

  5. I am new too this stuff, so if this is not the proper way of doing this I am sorry. I just want to thank everyone who wrote a comment on my post Guns or security guards in churches. You all left some VERY interest post for me to consider. I have not seen to much written on this issue that is why I posted question.

Just for the record -- I can see both sides to the issue, and was really wondering what other Christians thought about it, I do believe Christians have the God given Right to defend themselves and those of other people.

    Peace to all,

  6. When I was living in the Philippines, my wife's sister came over the house and ask me if I believed that one must do good works to have great faith. She confessed to be a born again Christian. My answer was NO, one does NOT have to do good works to have great faith. So she asked me, do I not believe in what James 2:14 says - Faith without works is dead faith? I told her she misunderstood what the bible was saying. I then asked her a couple of things:

A beggar lady who had nothing saw a cold and hungry child; the beggar lady prayed to God to give the child relief. A affluent man came by and gave her a coat and food. Would the affluent man have more faith then the beggar women who had nothing but her faith to give to the child.

A person that is born with physical disabilities - a person that struggles everyday just to get around, but loves and worships Jesus with all their heart and mind, would their faith be dead, would it be fake, or would it be Real?

A man was in and out of prison all his life, and he hated God for a number of reasons. One day he was send to prison for life, and in prison he killed someone and was sentenced to solitary confinement. Two years later and 6 months before he was to be put to death, he turned to Jesus, confessed his sins, and worshipped and praised Jesus until the day he died in solitary confinement. Was his faith real or was it fake and dead because he did no good works.

My sister died of ALS disease, the last year of her life there was little that my sister was able to do, was her faith less than it was before she got sick, was her faith dead because she was no longer able to do anything?

I ended by saying, NO you do NOT need to do good works to have great faith, NO you do NOT need to do good works to go to Heaven

    BUT BUT BUT

If you have the means, ability, opportunity to help your fellow man, and refuse to give support to someone in need  and just give lip service then your Faith is weak, and will die.

    Peace and love to all.

  7. Ever since I was 12 years old I wanted either to donate my body to medical science or be cremated. I understand Jesus rose from the dead in the body that he was crucified in, and that when he was crucified the SAINTS could be seen walking in the streets.

I do not think we will be resurrected in the bible we have now - I once was told by a deacon of a church that smoking is not a DEATH sin, but if we smoke on earth we will smell like smoke when we are resurrected. The bible is clear: the new body of a Christian will be a glorified body like the body of the exalted Christ, and it will never experience weakness, disease, suffering, or death.

    Peace and Love to all

  8. Hello, I do not know the answer, nor will I quote the bible. I do think a lot of it has to do with PRIDE. I have been to many different Christian churches and talked to many people of different Christian denomination. Each or most denomination has leaders and members (not all leaders and members) that feel they need to POUND their chest saying they are the TRUE church. You have to be a member of their church, because they UNDERSTAND what the Bible and Jesus is saying. This leads to resentment and even hate towards other Christians.

Christian denomination and individual Christians will argue over the littlest things like: should kids under 14 go to the regular service or a youth service, how long the service should be, should everyone sing or just the choir, how long should you sing for, how you should be baptized - should it be in a RIVER or LAKE or is a tub of water good enough, and last but not least what day of the week should you go to church. There are many other things I did not mention.

I admit I do not know a lot of the bible I can not quote to many different parts of the bible, but through Christ I am learning more everyday. I do know this: there will come a time when all Christ disciples - all those that are Truly Born Again through the Spirit, all those that are the children of God, will one day worship Jesus as one.

It does not matter how long your service is, nor what day your service is, nor where you are baptized, it does not matter if you have separate services one for adults and one for youths. All That Matters is if ----- You believe in, and live by, the Two Great Commandments.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Then again I could be wrong, Peace and love to all.

  9. When I was a kid my mother, brother, sister, step-father would all go over my oldest sister house and celebrate Thanksgiving with her and her 4 kids. Later in life after I got married my mother would come over our house to celebrate Thanksgiving with me and my wife. Actually we would celebrate Thanksgiving the day after because my wife would always work the holidays because we needed the extra money. After my mom died it would just be me and my wife - brothers and sisters just lived to far away.

For me Thanksgiving is a day to thank our Lord and Savior for everything he has giving us.

    Peace and Love

    Tony

  10. Hello, I hope and pray you are in during great in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ:

You never did mention if you liked my story or thought it was funny. I find it funny thinking about it. Anyways, I gather you are from the PI, by your response. Do you live there now, or are you a transplant like my wife of 26 years?

We lived in Nino Jesus, Bato, Camarines Sur from 2007 - 2014. We lived in a semi - native house because we spent all our money two months after we arrived on removing kidneys stones from me in Manila hospital. We bought land from my wife's uncle.

I miss the Philippines very much, I had to leave behind my dogs. Actually they were my babies, they knew I was their daddy. I send money every month to the family living in our house for food and water.

I also miss all the kids there, I spent untold hours at the elementary school (no high school in barangay) talking to the kids. I went there every day with my one dog. When I was there all the kids were like my own, and they all called me Kuya Tony. I use to give the school 500 to a 1,000 peso a month. I still send them 2 boxes a year filled with school supplies and books. Please do not think I am bragging about what I have giving the kids there - because everything I have giving them comes from the Lord . As long as the Lord supplies me with the resources I will keep sending them a box every year. I sent them 30 pounds of spaghetti 3 months ago, and  they will eat it at Christmas party. Can not wait to see the pictures they will take of them all dressed up for their party.

Hopefully God will provide a way for me to go back there Next year or the year after to see my Baby (one dog that is still living) and all the kids

    Peace and Love... tony

  11. On Christmas Day, 1990 at 9am I boarded a plane from Rochester  NY to Detroit, from there it was onto Japan, and from there it was on to my final destination Manila Philippines. When I finally got to Manila it was 11 pm on December 26, I was very tired, with apprehension and anxiety just a TAD big high. I thought WOW I made it all I had to do was pick up my luggage, go through immigration/customs and they would be waiting for me right outside of the airport door.

After waiting 45 minutes for my luggage I didn't to forget about it, and go through immigration because i did not want the people picking me up to think I didn't come. Immigration and customs was a snap and when I was headed to the doors to leave the airport (you have to have ticket to enter airport in Manila) I saw 4 females with a big sign with my name on it. I thought everything would be smooth going.

When I get out of the airport there was no one around with a sign with my name on it - WHERE DID THE 4 FEMALES GO - THEY WERE THERE 5 MINUTES AGO - was this some kind of cruel joke on an American? What am I suppose to do - what is going on? My mind was going crazy. At 1 am after being outside for 45 minutes all sorts of MALES were coming up and asking if I wanted a ride, drugs, or looking for girls. A polite for firm no to them all. At 1:30 am I thought about going back into the airport, picking up the red phone that had a sign over it saying US EMBASSY.

Finally at around 2am a guy came walking up slowly to me, and asked is your name Tony Giambra --- RELIEF == someone that knew my name. After introducing himself to me, he asked WHERE ARE THE GIRLS. So I told him what happened and all he could say was, how stupid could they be leaving me all alone. He told me to wait right there and he went to get the car, then we went looking for the 4 females - it turned out to be my future wife, 2 of her sisters, and a niece.

When we finally found them walking around the first thing he asked them was -- why on earth did you leave him all alone in a strange country in the middle of the night. Well on we went to my wife oldest sister house where i would be staying for 21 days.

When we arrived at the house it was now 3:30 in the morning. We were having a nice polite conversation when my future wife oldest sister ask me why I was wearing eyeglasses. It was like, are you stupid, why do you think I am wearing eyeglasses. All I could say was I needed them to see, but they could not understand this and wanted me to take them off. Finally I took them off and she said I look better without eyeglasses and I should leave them off. I am legally blind in both eyes without eyeglasses.

Well they finally said it was time to get a little sleep, so my future wife showed me the bedroom I would be sleeping in. It was now 5:30 in the morning. As soon as I laid down the mosquitoes started to bite me all over my body, and then 15 minutes later the roosters started to crow.

So my first NIGHT in the Philippines I laid in bed, while getting bitten by mosquitoes and listening to roosters, and wondering if I was in sometime of mental institution.

I traveled halfway around the world, to be bitten alive by mosquitoes - going death listening to roosters crow outside my window, and having someone tell me NOT to wear eyeglasses.

BOY  this trip SURE started out fun

  12. Who do some churches have the idea that the LOUDER the music the closer to God they will be? I admit I do not know the Bible word for word, so is there a place in the Bible that States you have to play music so loud you can hear it 5 miles away to be close to God during service? I have stopped going to 3 churches over the years because their music was too loud. There was one church my wife and I use to go to that gave out ear plugs for everyone to use. I am serious do these churches think they are closer to God when they play their music so loud?

What is with the light shows churches have now -- I feel some churches are turning the service into a mini - concert. The last church my wife and I went to when she was not working Sundays had loud music and a light show. It did not bother my wife even though she did not think it was necessary -- we stopped going because the service hurt my ears and eyes.

OK, I know I did not ask ONE Question -- Give me a service where they Preach the word of God USING the Bible and sing bible hymns, and you can keep your light shows and loud concert music

  13. To all faithful believers - I need your prayers

A year ago they put a stent in my right heart artery, it helped some but did not take away chest pain/pressure. On September 11 they will do tests on my stomach and esophagus to try to understand why I have chest pain/pressure all the time and why food makes me sick to the stomach. Sometimes it is hard to get up any energy at all. They will take me off plavix - blood thinning medication I have been on for a year for 3 days. Sometimes I wonder if they really know what they are doing with the blood thinning medication.

So if someone could pray for me - for a good outcome. I pray everyday for God to take care of me, and that I may have peace of mind and body

I am tired, last night was really bad and today I just slept all day.

Thank you all, and God Bless you all.
