Are you saying then Romans 11 is wrong?

If you are going to question Scripture here, then there's nothing more to say to you.

So you believe saul and Paul is the same?

First, you might want to take back your "thumbs up" from my post: my point is that the Israel there now is the Israel that will be there living in "unwalled villages". God din't bring back Israel in 1948 just so He could pull them out again.  Ezekiel 38 isn't talking about the Millenial Kingdom, but when Gog and Magog come to invade,  BEFORE the Millennial Kingdom ever takes hold

    Second:

Nice way to twist Scripture; is there some reason you post only "cherry-picked" verses and not entire passages?

    Third:

You may want to read Romans 11:

I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He? May it never be! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says in the passage about Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel? “Lord, THEY HAVE KILLED YOUR PROPHETS, THEY HAVE TORN DOWN YOUR ALTARS, AND I ALONE AM LEFT, AND THEY ARE SEEKING MY LIFE.” But what is the divine response to him? “I HAVE KEPT for Myself SEVEN THOUSAND MEN WHO HAVE NOT BOWED THE KNEE TO BAAL.” In the same way then, there has also come to be at the present time a remnant according to God’s gracious choice. But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace. What then? What Israel is seeking, it has not obtained, but those who were chosen obtained it, and the rest were hardened; Just as it is written, "GOD GAVE THEM A SPIRIT OF STUPOR, EYES TO SEE NOT AND EARS TO HEAR NOT, DOWN TO THIS VERY DAY.” And David says,  “LET THEIR TABLE BECOME A SNARE AND A TRAP, AND A STUMBLING BLOCK AND A RETRIBUTION TO THEM. “LET THEIR EYES BE DARKENED TO SEE NOT, AND BEND THEIR BACKS FOREVER.” I say then, they did not stumble so as to fall, did they? May it never be! But by their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make them jealous. Now if their transgression is riches for the world and their failure is riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their fulfillment be! But I am speaking to you who are Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle of Gentiles, I magnify my ministry,if somehow I might move to jealousy my fellow countrymen and save some of them. For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? If the first piece of dough is holy, the lump is also; and if the root is holy, the branches are too. But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them and became partaker with them of the rich root of the olive tree, do not be arrogant toward the branches; but if you are arrogant, remember that it is not you who supports the root, but the root supports you. You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” Quite right, they were broken off for their unbelief, but you stand by your faith. Do not be conceited, but fear; for if God did not spare the natural branches, He will not spare you, either.  Behold then the kindness and severity of God; to those who fell, severity, but to you, God’s kindness, if you continue in His kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off. And they also, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. For if you were cut off from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these who are the natural branches be grafted into their own olive tree? For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery—so that you will not be wise in your own estimation—that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, “THE DELIVERER WILL COME FROM ZION,  HE WILL REMOVE UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB.” “THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM, WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS.” From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of God’s choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers; for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. For just as you once were disobedient to God, but now have been shown mercy because of their disobedience, so these also now have been disobedient, that because of the mercy shown to you they also may now be shown mercy. For God has shut up all in disobedience so that He may show mercy to all. Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, OR WHO BECAME HIS COUNSELOR? Or WHO HAS FIRST GIVEN TO HIM THAT IT MIGHT BE PAID BACK TO HIM AGAIN? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen." (Romans 11, NASB, emphasis mine)

Yes, no one will be saved who does not believe the Gospel; but that said, you're trying to blend the Nation of Israel and The Kingdom of God here. The Lord promised to restore the Nation of Israel and bring her back from ruin, but the Millennial Kingdom will have no unsaved people in it.

"From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of God’s choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers"; God has not abandoned Israel, nor has He given her promises to us, no matter how hard you argue this, shilohsfoal.

Next time, try reading all the Scripture in a passage instead of  picking the parts you like.

No,its not the same Israel. Unless you believe Sail and Paul were the same. Completely different mentality.

That is the point of this thread.

This israel and particulaly its goverment is completely different. One believes in weapons and walls.

    The other believes in God.

Instead of looking at just one verse of Ezekiel 38, let's read that verse in context:

"And the word of the LORD came to me saying,  “Son of man, set your face toward Gog of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him and say, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal. “I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them splendidly attired, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them wielding swords; Persia, Ethiopia and Put with them, all of them with shield and helmet; Gomer with all its troops; Beth-togarmah from the remote parts of the north with all its troops—many peoples with you.  “Be prepared, and prepare yourself, you and all your companies that are assembled about you, and be a guard for them. “After many days you will be summoned; in the latter years you will come into the land that is restored from the sword, whose inhabitants have been gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel which had been a continual waste; but its people were brought out from the nations, and they are living securely, all of them. “You will go up, you will come like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land, you and all your troops, and many peoples with you.” ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “It will come about on that day, that thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil plan, and you will say, ‘I will go up against the land of unwalled villages. I will go against those who are at rest, that live securely, all of them living without walls and having no bars or gates, to capture spoil and to seize plunder, to turn your hand against the waste places which are now inhabited, and against the people who are gathered from the nations, who have acquired cattle and goods, who live at the center of the world.’ “Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish with all its villages will say to you, ‘Have you come to capture spoil? Have you assembled your company to seize plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to capture great spoil?’”’ “Therefore prophesy, son of man, and say to Gog, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “On that day when My people Israel are living securely, will you not know it? “You will come from your place out of the remote parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great assembly and a mighty army; and you will come up against My people Israel like a cloud to cover the land. It shall come about in the last days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me when I am sanctified through you before their eyes, O Gog.” ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Are you the one of whom I spoke in former days through My servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days for many years that I would bring you against them? “It will come about on that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” declares the Lord GOD, “that My fury will mount up in My anger. “In My zeal and in My blazing wrath I declare that on that day there will surely be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. “The fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all the creeping things that creep on the earth, and all the men who are on the face of the earth will shake at My presence; the mountains also will be thrown down, the steep pathways will collapse and every wall will fall to the ground. “I will call for a sword against him on all My mountains,” declares the Lord GOD. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother. “With pestilence and with blood I will enter into judgment with him; and I will rain on him and on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, a torrential rain, with hailstones, fire and brimstone. “I will magnify Myself, sanctify Myself, and make Myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am the LORD.”’ (Ezekiel chapter 38, NASB, emphasis mine)

"Restored from the sword, whose inhabitants were gathered from many nations"; not replaced, but the nation of Israel brought back from being scattered.

Now, let's read your chosen verse from from Matthew 21, this time though, in context:

“Listen to another parable. There was a landowner who PLANTED A VINEYARD AND PUT A WALL AROUND IT AND DUG A WINE PRESS IN IT, AND BUILT A TOWER, and rented it out to vine-growers and went on a journey. “When the harvest time approached, he sent his slaves to the vine-growers to receive his produce. “The vine-growers took his slaves and beat one, and killed another, and stoned a third. Again he sent another group of slaves larger than the first; and they did the same thing to them. But afterward he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ But when the vine-growers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir; come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’ They took him, and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. Therefore when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vine-growers?” They said to Him, “He will bring those wretches to a wretched end, and will rent out the vineyard to other vine-growers who will pay him the proceeds at the proper seasons.” Jesus said to them, “Did you never read in the Scriptures,  ‘THE STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED,  THIS BECAME THE CHIEF CORNER stone;  THIS CAME ABOUT FROM THE LORD,  AND IT IS MARVELOUS IN OUR EYES’? Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people, producing the fruit of it. And he who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will scatter him like dust.” When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard His parables, they understood that He was speaking about them. When they sought to seize Him, they feared the people, because they considered Him to be a prophet." (Matthew 21:33-46, NASB, emphasis mine)

"When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard His parables, they understood that He was speaking about them."   These religious leaders are warned that they are not going to inherit the Kingdom of God; and indeed, by the time Israel returned to their land in 1948, these were gone.

Scripture clearly indicates that the Lord isn't finished with Israel, and still has promises to keep to the nation; that is the same nation, who will be living in peace and without walls when Gog and Magog come to try to invade. What Matthew 21 is talking about here is that the Kingdom of God, which will come in the Millennial Reign, will only be given to those who are redeemed; those that survive the Tribulation and accept the Lord as the Messiah well as those believers who are raptured before the Tribulation. There will be 1/3 of the Jews left in the land (a remnant) whom the Lord will preserve in a prepared place (See Rev. 12 for details). What is taken away is the offer of the kingdom of God at that point,  and it will be given to those Jews who finally accept Jesus as their messiah at that time.

But as of 1948, the Nation of Israel has returned to her homeland, as promised in Scriptures; God did not give Israel’s kingdom to nations (plural, as in Gentiles in the Body of Christ).

I agree. The remnant will be saved,

During that time the land will heal from armegeddon.

The kingdom will be taken away from the leaders(goverment).

And the Israelis who do not worship the Israeli goverment, nor recieve its mark and die for thier testimony of Christ will will be resurrected and shall reign with Christ for 1000 years.

They are the peaceful people who will dwell in Israel without walls.Completely safe.

False.  Israel defeated 6 Arab nations singlehandedly and the US didn't send them even a box of bullets.   The same holds true for the Six Day War.   The US did send weapons to Israel during the Yom Kipppur War, but Israel had already repelled the invasion and pushed the Egyptians to within 30 miles of Cairo in the south and pushed the Syrians within 40 miles of Damascus before the US weapons arrived.  Israel won all of it's major wars and American weapons were not the deciding factor in any of them.

Israel's major victories are not studied by the West Point Academy that studies the wars of antiquity because those victories cannot be explained militarily.   Israel was already winning with God's hand and by His power without any help from the US.

38 billion dollars through 2028 for Israel defense spending.

Thats why israels millitary is so powerful.

False Bigoted Anti-Semitic garbage. Aljazerra?? ya right how really funny.  The Palestinian Arabs have sworn to kill all the Jews and drive them into the sea. Hamas takes the Aid money and instead builds tunnels  so they can kill Jewish children & civilians. They drive vehicles into bus stops where Jewish civilians are standing waiting for their bus in the morning. The Arab muslims have done many knife attacks against Israeli citizens.   The Wall in Gaza  has cut down Jihadi terrorism attacks against the innocent Jewish citizens by atleast 70% . Whom do you think raise up the Nation of Israel in a day? --THE ALMIGHTY LORD GOD .

Who do you think made them such a Powerful Military Force?  THE ALMIGHTY LORD GOD of Hosts. The same LORD GOD who blessed them and brought them into their own Land of Israel to make it bloom again.

Good luck with your hatred towards Israel and the Jews while trying to call yourself a Christian.

    PSALM 121

I Will Lift Up My Eyes to the Hills

1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

2My help [cometh] from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

3He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

4Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

5The LORD [is] thy keeper: the LORD [is] thy shade upon thy right hand.

6The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

7The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

8The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

The USA gives billions of dollars to the state of Israel for weapons. It is the USA that has made the Israeli goverment a great millitary. Not God.

If they were Gods Israel they wouldn't need weapons or walls. But because they are not Gods Israel they will continue beggigthe USA for help.

What's the question, or point of discussion?

The point is the people who live in Israel today are not the same people ezekiel wrote of.

The Israel ezekiel wrote of are a different people of a different time.

  9. When such people put thier faith in the works of thier own hands wither it be arms or walls ,they are doomed.

The walls will come tumbling down and they willie exposed.

  10. Scripture speaks of a people who dwell in the land of Israel .A peaceful and unsuspecting people living in safety without walls .

Well that Israel is definitely not the same people who live in the land of Israel today. The peoplewho live in Israel today are not peaceful. They dont live In safety and they are building walls all around them.

Daniel has a bunch of near far things going on throughout the book. The passage you cited I believe is not related to Antichrist and his abomination but rather the time of Antiochus Ephipanes before Christ.

It appears to me v. 36 made a change to now talking “far”.....the  Antichrist.

Well,Im sorry you cant understand Daniels writings Spock. There's not that many that can.

    The answer is"his armed forces".

His armed forces sets up the abomination that causes dedolation.

I would go on to show you more but i dont believe you would be able to understand those either so theres no use.

We will see how it turns out as it does.

Im asking spock to look at the verse and tell me who that verse say sets up the abomination that causes desolation.
