  1. The Soul has been a complex topic that many people have confused. We are looking at what The Soul is as defined by The Bible. We are looking at The Soul in cause and effect ways. Imagine a white board in a classroom. Take a black marker and draw an outline of a person. Not a stick figure, an outline like the police chalking a body. The outline of a person on the whiteboard may represent a Soul when a person is born. Why white? White like "Sins made white." White like a virgin bride on her wedding day. White like Jesus will dress us in white. White represents innocence, and the person may not have made any decisions, or experienced anything. When a person experiences something, or makes a decision, that may leave a mark on the soul. A mark on the soul may be a teacher giving a compliment that builds someone up. It may be a bully at school being abusive. It may be celebrating Christmas with family. Both good and bad things may have left some sort of mark on the soul. Have you seen the movie "The Butterfly Effect?" In the movie, the main character has the ability to time travel, and start all over. He was working to stop a horrible event that scarred some people he cared about. Every time he did, things became worse. One tragedy lead into another. The main character's main love interested had The Same Soul. Due to environment factors, things she experienced, and decisions made after, she was a little different each time. During one time travel, she may have been a pretty regular person. During another, due to things she went through and environmental factors, she ended up on drugs and a prostitute. In the DC Universe, there are other dimensions or Universes. Superman in one Universe is for Truth, Justice, and the American Way. In another Universe Superman loses Lois Lane, and he loses his head. He experienced something that was traumatic to him, and became evil and Totalitarian. Superman losing Lois Lane left some sort of mark on Superman's soul. He ended up making decisions afterwards in sin and anger that also left things on his soul. The problem may have been a wound. It hurt to lose Lois. Superman's decision making afterwards was off when he lost his head, and allowed anger or rage to fuel him. There are two Concepts here: Decisions made. Freewill. Things experienced that someone may not have had control of like a tragedy or an authority figure. It may have been something that just happened by fate, coincidence, or God? Man makes a decision to go have ice-cream at the ice-cream store one day. He made a decision that he believed would make him feel good. He ends up meeting his future wife. He made a decision. Something unexpected happened? Spirits The Bible mentions Spirits. Spirits effect motivation. Here is a short list of some spirits mentioned. Deaf and dumb spirit (Mark 9:17-29) Lying spirit (II Chronicles 18:20-22) Perverse spirit (Isaiah 19:14; Romans 1:17-32) Seducing spirit (I Timothy 4:1) More at: https://www.christcenteredmall.com/teachings/evil-spirits.htm What are these Spirits doing? They are influencing. They are effecting motivations. Someone with a seducing spirit or spirit of prostitution may have been on tinder in the wrong way? Someone with a lying tongue may have been a habitual liar? Someone with one of these spirits, their character may have been molded a certain way. Their soul, who they are, may have been molded to something. Part of their identity, even if it was subconscious, may have been molded to something. Some Spirits are generational. They may have been passed down from Generation to Generation. There may have been generational curses on some families. (Deuteronomy 5:9) Some spirits someone may have picked up by being in sin, and being unrepentant. Someone's Soul or character may have been molded around something. In Christianity, keeping this non-denominational as much as possible, in general, a Christian to be is repenting of their sins, they go to Church and do what the pastor guides them into, such as baptism, and accepting in The Spirit of God. They are being cleansed, and their souls may be refreshed. Jesus heals people of their wounds, and the bad marks on the soul. When someone repents, and accepts in The Spirit of God, they are praying, they are studying their Bible, and they working to develop Godly character. Those other spirits are exorcised, and someone has The Spirit of God. They work to develop Godly Character. The Spirit of God wraps or entwines into someone's soul. I have liked the concept of Thumos as a holistic way of looking to develop Godly Character. Post: "Thumos and Holy Fire." Thumos as described by Plato get deeper into what it means to be a man. Someone is doing a character study of God in the Bible. They are seeking God with all their heart, and SOUL,(Identity) and strength and mind. They are growing in Reason and Faith. Part of thumos being how a man reasons. One of the reasons thumos has been most profound has been "Spiritual Warfare" attacking men, and what it means to be a man. Identity politics and Political Correctness have been form of Spiritual Warfare attacking how men view themselves and view God. Man is THE GLORY of God. What is Glory? Something glorious may have been David standing up to Goliath. Glory may be a man producing a work of art through God. Glory may be a new born child. Getting into Thumos, a man may be developing the creative energies of Logos through God's Holy Spirit in meekness to God. Heart and Soul and Strength and Mind 5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.. (Deuteronomy 6:5) He answered, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" (Luke 10:27) Song to Preface this: Heuy Lewis "Heart and Soul." It is about to be March Madness. A few months ago I lived in walking distance from Duke University. Given someone was a Duke fan, or Duke Alumni, or had a lot of Duke Paraphernalia, they may have loved Duke University. How did they love Duke University? They loved Duke with their Soul or Identity. When Duke wins or has done well, they rejoice? They feel good? In their soul, they rejoice. That is where the soul is. Given anyone has been a sports fan at some point, and has identified as a fan of ___________ their soul rejoices when their team does well. What is a soul? A soul is a person. In the Bible, given a King has fifty souls, he possibly has fifty servants or subjects. How do those subjects or servants identity themselves? Part of their identity may have been “A servant or subject of King Solomon” or “member of the Tribe of Judah.” They loved something with their Soul. Given someone loves or identifies with one Political Party of the other strongly in 2019, they may be loving something with their identity. Someone identifying with The Democrats, regardless of if they have believed in Jesus or not, may care more about what their friends think, and be prone to certain attitudes that lean towards ungodliness. Are their bad people on The Right? Yes. The State of Tennessee has been known to be Conservative. It is also the most politically corrupt state in the Union, and has accepted more liberal views on morality? There may have been ugly things going on behind closed doors in the State of Tennessee? What was the root of the problem? False teachers and false Prophets promoting sin and immorality, like “Sex Week” at the University of Tennessee, and societies general acceptance of it, in a “Whatever floats your boat” way. There is a stripping process to growing in Faith. Someone growing in Faith should identify as a child of God, and work to build God’s Kingdom. Someone rejecting the world, and working to please God may end up hated. Faith is not easy. The Soul and Identity. The Song of Songs is in the Bible as a representation of God's Love for Israel. In the New Testament, The Church is a Bride for Christ. Christ is to man as a man is to woman or Christ is the head of man as man is the head of woman. (1 Corinthians 11:3) Marriage has been an important part of The Bible and Faith and growing in understanding. Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, (1 Peter 3:1) Woman is meek before her husband. Man is meek before God. A woman loving her husband with her heart and soul may have taken his name. She is forging a new identity as Mrs. _____________. Someone with a Hyphenated last name is one foot in, one foot out. Who or what does she love more? Her husband or Feminism? Feminists tend towards socialism. Is a woman really married to her husband or more married to The State? Woman is meek before her husband. A man is meek before God.
  2. (This was originally written for /r/theology.) Given The Bible, and we are looking to apply and wield The Bible through The Spirit of God to its fullest, what is a Seer? What do I mean by applying and wielding The Bible? Someone doesn't have a doctrine or ideology or false belief or perception they are working to fit the Bible into, they are "doing" and meek before God seeking understanding, and making associations that work. Doing this, and seeking to answer this question, may be uncomfortable. It may hurt. The Truth hurts. Knowledge brings sorrow. Ignorance is bliss? For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the LORD. Live as children of light (Ephesians 5:8) Given someone was a Seer, they may be able to see what has been happening in the darkness. He may have some knowledge about what happens behind closed doors. He may have been aware of Satan. He may have been engaging in Spiritual Warfare. He may have been aware of many uncomfortable things that some people would rather have had hidden. God is scary. Being aware of God may bring a fear of God, and some people may have been working against God, and working to hide away God. To more clearly understand what the spiritual is, how it works, and what was going on behind closed doors, someone may end up hated for a time. Christians are to bring people into the truth gently. At times, like an Apocalypse or an opening of the eyes, it may come suddenly in the right context, by the right person, as shepherded by God. Given someone was a Theologian, and had a career being wrong due to ideologies or certain doctrines, and being ego invested in his work, an understanding of The Spiritual and God and the Bible, may hurt. I understand. Song: "Dangerous." The days of punishment are coming, the days of reckoning are at hand. Let Israel know this. Because your sins are so many and your hostility so great, the prophet is considered a fool, the inspired person a maniac. (Hosea 9:7) Why? Given someone was fulfilling or appeared to fit into the profile given in Hosea 9:7, he may have been a seer, with God's Fatherly love. He may have been given vision into what happens in The Darkness, and was aware of sins and wrong doings. (Not specifically claiming Hosea 9:7, but working towards understanding.) Illusions and False Perceptions One way of seeking understanding of what a Seer is may be working to understand some of the barriers that have kept a regular Christian from being one. Have you have heard someone say "Masturbation will make you go blind?" Spiritual blindness or blindness to God. Young man around age 12-13 was out playing with his friends, and one of his buddies had a playboy, and he starts lusting. He starts looking and thinking about women wrong. His friends have stories about exploits with the "Girls next door" in sin?? That was perceived as cool where someone receives attention and accolades from his friends? That is playing on the ego. Someone may have ended up a "self-centered seeker of pleasure." He became a blind man. How was a man blind? God is love. God's love is fatherly. Someone looking at a woman in lust, wanting to use her outside of marriage, he was blind to God's Fatherly love. After reading that, a man who went to public school may need to sit back and reflect. Has he been in competition with other men in terms of dating or relationships? Even if he was married, and he had been in a competition, he may have had a wondering eye. That wondering eye may have had to do with false perceptions and his ego. A lot of that may have been in his subconscious. He didn't think about it a lot, but various perceptions and his ego compelled him forwards, and he was in sin. Moving forward, he may need to drop his ego, not care, be happy with what he has, and seek God's will and plan. Looking at this from a different angle, man meets pretty girl. He likes the idea of her. He creates some sort of image in his head of who he would like her to be. He was not interested in her, who she was, what she had done. He was interested in the fantasy image of her. He may have been a blind man who had illusions. These illusions gave him a false perspective. Given she tried to tell him certain things about who she was, and her past, or give him hints about it, it was in one ear or out the other or just didn't compute? The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true." (John 4:18) No false beliefs. No illusions. Jesus looked at someone, and conversed. Jesus was intuitive and perceived through his Spirit. Song: I like the Idea of You. Someone who was experiencing God, being taught by God's Holy Spirit, who saw into the dark, may have seen a lot of ugly hard to deal with things. Was someone's mom or grandma in sin, doing the wrong things? He may have become aware of that through the Spirit of God. Did someone's parents lie to them a lot? They may have become aware of the Truth. Having Truth, he may have ended up in conflict with his family? Given a lot of people suddenly had vision into the dark, as Shepherded by The Lord Jesus Christ, there may be a fulfillment of Matthew 10:34-37? An understanding of what a Seer is, may bring a lot of understanding to The Bible that someone didn't have previously. How may someone potentially develop this through the Spirit of God? I don't 100% know. I have not walked anyone else through it in person. I have mostly been in an online ministry offering hard to deal with truths in ways people choose. That is, they chose to read it. They didn't have to. Given I was to highlight what I have seen or been shown as important towards growing more in Faith: They seek God with all their heart and soul and strength and mind. Pray. If it would bring you Glory. God likes Glory. I don't know. I don't care. They live in the moment. An understanding of The Kingdom of God, and that God's plan is God's Kingdom. They start with a good foundation.
  3. Given I was critiquing the song "Happiness".......Too egotistical. God's love is sacrificial. At the same time, to help others, a man need to help himself first.
  4. The Meek [before God] shall inherit the Earth. Fortune Favors the Bold. King David has or had a heart after God. He was meek before God. King Saul was God's anointed. King Saul wanted to kill David. David had the opportunity to kill King Saul but did not kill him. King Saul was God's anointed, and David feared God. That shows meekness to God. David was bold. Faith is a knowledgeable dependence. How did David grow in faith? But David said to Saul, "Your servant has been keeping his father's sheep. When a lion or a bear came and carried off a sheep from the flock, I went after it, struck it and rescued the sheep from its mouth. When it turned on me, I seized it by its hair, struck it and killed it. (1 Samuel 17:34-35) David had a relationship with God. He grew in faith, a knowledgeable dependence as a shepherd leaning on God tending his flock. When Goliath mocked God and Israel, David was quick to answer the challenge? He was bold. He was meek and bold. The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion. (Proverbs 28:1) Someone full of God's Spirit may have been more like Saint Nickolas. He had a zeal about him. for though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes. (Proverbs 24:16) "The Pursuit of Happiness" with Will Smith may have displayed a type of righteousness. The main character had a lot of rough things happen. He was a traveling salesmen who invested heavily in a pursuit that was failing. He was not doing well in his business. He had marital issues. His wife left him. He was facing homelessness. There were a lot of trials. He got back up and didn't quit. This may be seen as a Kind of Righteousness. In the same context, someone like Spartan King Leonidas may have characteristics about him that made him more righteous. All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away. (Isaiah 64:6) God's Righteousness comes through God's Holy Spirit. Someone is working as a servant of God towards God's plans. Not one being righteous may have been a rhetorical or even "Power of the Tongue" spiritual device towards getting men to let go of false perceptions and the idea or perspective that there is righteousness outside of God. It may have been true at a time. This is partly, why someone reads The New Testament from an Old Testament Understanding. Song: Happiness.
  5. An Engineer reads this. He is used to having an instruction manual, and following step by step what to do. That is not exactly wrong. The Bible and the spiritual is complicated. Is someone figuring it out with their own mind or letting go and letting the spirit of God flow? Someone with a strict literalist interpretation may not be wrong. Given he is working on forcing that strict and literal interpretation he is wrong. Given the Spirit of God is flowing, people may be working in the Spirit and that strict interpretation without trying. There may be things that the strict literalist does not see or understand. What does a Man of God look like, for example? Someone from a Dry Country in Tennessee may believe that a Man of God does not drink and that drinking is evil. The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.' But wisdom is proved right by her deeds." (Matthew 11:19) The strict literalist may be in a box. He has a perspective. That perspective is false. He cannot see outside the box? For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, 'He has a demon.' (Luke 7:33) Most of what was is in the content in Rocksteady blog in my signature was created with a drink in my hand and the Spirit of God. When someone drinks, what is in their heart comes out. Someone with sin or hatred of women drinks and he may be in sin or beat a woman. Someone with nothing but the spirit of God drinks and the Spirit of God comes out. Do I have to drink to write for God? Not necessarily. I like to. I flow with the Spirit of God. God loves you and nothing else matters. Man lets go. Say "I don't know." I don't know. God knows. https://www.christianforums.com/blogs/blog/rocksteady.3593/
  6. Fear of God is a good thing. Fear of God takes away your fear of man. God is love. God's love is fatherly. You are doing the right things? What do you have to fear?
  7. The Lord is a shepherd. (Psalms 23) God has a Staff leading to Good things and Joy. God has a Rod of Misery. These two forces may be said to shepherd someone. Someone who is a servant of God and following God may have been a "Servant to One's Sorrow or Misery," that is, to find God in a big way, and to really be shepherded by God, someone may of had to hit the bottom, or have gone through "The Eye of the Needle," where he had nothing else but God. A Farmer on the American Frontier at various point in time, may have become a Servant to His Sorrow. A farmer who was lazy, or maybe who had a bad harvest, may have been miserable all winter. He may have been starving and just barely surviving. Maybe he lost some neighbors or family. In the Spring, he may be highly motivated to plant and do better so he is not miserable. At the same time, he seeks out God. He prays. He prays for rain. Given he was lazy, he seeks change, and prays for God to change him. He doesn't know what is going to happen come fall and harvest. He works to lean on The Lord. The Farmer on the American frontier may have had two books. He had a Bible and a "Poor Richard's Almanack." All winter, he has time to read these and seek God. He may have found God in a big way. Peter was a Fisherman. Sometimes the fish were not biting? Peter needed money for his daughter? Peter had bills to pay? These things may have motivated Peter to fish more. Peter needs to be successful to get the things he needs and desires. In a way, we may say that Peter was a Servant to his Sorrow. When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, 2and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. 3He told them: "Take nothing for the journey-no staff, no bag, no bread, no money, no extra shirt. 4Whatever house you enter, stay there until you leave that town. 5If people do not welcome you, leave their town and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them." 6So they set out and went from village to village, proclaiming the good news and healing people everywhere. (Luke 9:1-6) The Twelve Disciples may not have quite been servants to their sorrow at that time in a spiritual sense. They were taught by Jesus. They may have started experiencing cause and effect. Jesus sent them out in twos with no bag, no money, no extra shirt, no staff. They went out to proclaim the Kingdom of God. Where would they find food? Where would they find shelter? They would have to lean on The Lord, and learn to truth him. They would rely on trust and grow in Faith with God. They had knowledge of God. They had instructions and what Jesus was teaching. They worked to apply what they learned. It may not seem pragmatic to travel with no bag, but there was a spiritual pragmatism. There are spiritual rules. They were going to rely on God. Jesus instructed them. They had faith in their teacher. They should be obedient and have faith. They were going on an adventure proclaiming the Kingdom of God, and taking a leap of Faith. God has a will. Man has a will. For man to line up his will with God's will in a big way, he may have had to go through various trials and tribulations. He has learned to joyfully endure his trials, and read what God is doing. (James 1:2-4) He lines his will up with the spirit of God and flows with it. God is his shepherd. Given someone is experiencing God, he may need the following proverbs to be successful. He needs to center himself. Proverbs Miracles happen at the intersection of Faith and Reason. The more Faith someone has, the more God becomes their Reason. Faith is a knowledgeable dependence. A man studies his Bible, and goes through trials. He grows in Faith and in Trust of God. Don't Look Down. Jesus is walking on water. He takes Peter's hand, and Peter is now walking on water. Peter's senses tell him that this should not be happening or he is in shock and awe. He may have some fear or doubt. Peter looks down. Peter sinks. Doubt and Fear kill Faith. Going into the Spiritual and growing in Faith may take some conditioning. You condition your mind and will against doubt or fear. Don't look down. What kind of conditioning or faith did Jonah and Jesus have that they could sleep through a storm and not care while everyone else is panicking? (Jonah 1:5,6)(Matthew 8:23-27) Don't look back. Don't look back is like Lot and his family leaving Sodom. You had a life as an individual and had sin. You are starting a new life in Christ to build God's Kingdom. Don't look back to your old life. Given you picked up the plow and looked back you are not worthy. Don't look back could be like Lot's wife. She may have sensed some heat behind her. She may have heard sounds. She was instructed to not look back. Curiosity killed the cat? Don't look back is an important element of growing in Faith. I youtube searched it one day, and found Duke Dumont - "Won't Look Back". As to what how I break down the video: The Post Modern World is like a Masquerade. What Spirit is someone of? Spirits affect motivation. Sometimes God hides his prophets. Who serves God and who is serving themselves or something else? The video is prophetic. God has good plans for you. (Jeremiah 29:11) God knows you. God created you. God is love. His love is fatherly. Given you end up being able to talk to God, you may end up seeing or hearing spirits and other things. God has a plan and he has good plans for you. If you are not centered on God, being able to see these or hear these things could throw you off. God will not ask you to do more than you are capable of handling. Walk The Line. 1 Kings 13. God's way is a path. There may be liars or deceivers or distractions. Walk the line. Don't trust man. Trust God.
  8. One of the archetypes Dr. Jordon Peterson talks about is Chaos vs Order. In Dr. Peterson's Bible Series he states some interesting things about The Spiritual, but he appears to teach about Chaos and Order from a "Man Seeking Truth Outside of God," and not more from a God-Centric or Spirit Filled point of view. The following are some themes or archetypes as related to Dr. Jordan Peterson's lectures on Chaos and Order and how they work from a God centricity that your average person reading the Bible may have missed as related to Chaos and Order. Various people that have been moved by Dr. Peterson are looking for God, or may be, and Dr. Peterson isn't necissarily an evangelist. Being knowledgeable about Dr. Peterson is a good in to talk about God, and lead people to Jesus Christ. "Biblical Series II: Genesis 1: Chaos & Order" The Unknown: Leaps of Faith The Lord is a shepherd. (Psalms 23) We may say that God has a Staff leading to Good things and Joy. God has a Rod of Misery. These two forces may be said to shepherd someone. These two forces may be said to be God shepherding someone. At the same time, he seeks out God. He prays. He prays for rain. Given he was lazy, he seeks change, and prays for God to change him. He doesn't know what is going to happen come fall and harvest. He works to lean on The Lord. The Farmer on the American frontier may have had two books. He had a Bible and a "Poor Richard's Almanack" or something. All winter, he has time to read these and seek God. He may have found God in a big way. The Farmer on the American Frontier may have had a minimum of law needed to function. Law is often associated with order. The Farmer on the American Frontier had a lot of freedom in being free from various legal constraints. He was free to seek and serve God. He willingly choose God and God's ways. People who follow God, tend to be pragmatic. A servant to one's sorrow is more of a pragmatist. Dr. Jordan Peterson is shepherded by Joy and Misery. There are certain things Dr. Peterson likes and find enjoyable. There are certain things that make him miserable. Dr. Jordan Peterson may not have 100% been following God, but Dr. Jordan Peterson would be a pragmatist given he is not an ideologue, and seeking Truth. What has been shepherding Dr. Peterson on a professional level? He seems to have integrity, he appears to not like ideologues, he appears to be unwilling to sacrifice his integrity to ideological forces who demand that he does, and so Dr. Peterson drew a line at laws that force him to do so. These forces represent misery, and what was potentially making Dr. Peterson Miserable or feel bad. Dr. Peterson in drawing a line came into conflict with various ideologues and governments. A servant to one's sorrow, at the basics of it, is someone who is doing what he needs to do to survive. A farmer on the American Frontier doing what he needed to survive may be servant to one's sorrow. He is a pragmatist. Someone like Dr. Jordan Peterson may have been a servant to his sorrow in that he was doing what he felt he had to do to save his professional integrity, and how he feels and perceives himself. Various servants to one's sorrow may have sought and found God in a cause and effect way. Their will ends up aligning with God's will. The Lord is their shepherd. The Twelve Disciples may not have quite been servants to their sorrow at that time. They were being taught by Jesus. They may have started experiencing cause and effect. Jesus sent them out in twos with no bag, no money, no extra shirt, no staff. They went out to proclaim the Kingdom of God. Where would they find food? Where would they find shelter? Jesus instructed them. They had faith in their teacher. They should be obedient and have faith. They were going on an adventure proclaiming the Kingdom of God, and taking a leap of Faith. Peter, Disciple of Jesus, may have been a servant to his sorrow at various point in his life as a fisherman. Sometimes the catch wasn't good. He looked for ways to bring in a better yield. He would like to be successful? Jesus Christ comes along. Jesus says "Follow me." As someone who had been a servant to his sorrow, Peter may not have been aligned with God and accepting of God's spirit at the time. He may have had knowledge of Torah. He may not have been aligned with God. To follow Jesus would take a Leap of Faith. Part of what Jesus did was work to realign the Hebrew people with God. In the song "Dying Time" by Black Label Society, the theme of being a "Servant to One's Sorrow" is displayed. Someone following Jesus may have to die. He dies to the world. He dies to the self. He embraces God. Jesus Christ is The Light and the way. In terms of the video, the various imagery may be someone's vision of what is in "The Spiritual" regardless of if it is right or wrong. We may come back to this later. Law as Order Moses may be said to be a "Law Bringer." God talked directly to Moses. Moses gave Law or God gave law through Moses. Moses bringing law wasn't necessarily just for order, like God is order. The 10 Commandments have a lot to do with lies and deceptions. Why does someone not lie, cheat, or steal? These things create darkness. Christians are children of The Light and not the dark. (Ephesians 5:8) Given someone told a lie, and another person believed a lie, the person who believed the lie may be said to be in The Dark. His perspective of reality may be off. Joe meets Dane for the first time at a business conference. Joe asks Dane what he does for a living. Dane lies about his occupation to be perceived as more than what he is. Given Joe believed that lie, Joe may have developed a false sense of whom Dane was. Given Joe believed that lie, Joe may have been said to be said to be in The Dark about Dane's occupation. Joe would have had a false sense or perspective about something. The Torah contains The Laws of Moses. The Laws of Moses were not 100% all for and because of Order like God is Law and Order 100%. This is a big distinction to make because in Paganism there is a tendency to separate and make gods for x, y, and z. Christianity is not Dualistic where Satan is Chaos and God Order. Christianity is not Zoroastrianism either. In Babylon, a system of law was in place. This system of law may be said to have established an order. Whose order or towards what purpose? In The Book of Kings, there are what are seen as Good Kings that worked to follow God and bad kings. There was an order in place. Who was being given authority? Man? Something else? God? Law doesn't always mean good. We will try to come back to this. Moses lead Israel out of Egypt. Moses took some leaps of faith. He followed God. God is his light and Morning Star. God is leading Moses and Israel. Moses may not 100% know what is going to happen. Moses trusts God. Moses has the people of Israel looking to him for guidance. He is a Judge. People have disputes. Two neighbors do not get along, maybe they have an outstanding grudge or some conflict. They need someone to settle their dispute. Various men took their disputes to Moses to be settled. Moses leading Israel may have found stress and things that made his life difficult. He had a big job. To help him with this job, he appointed judges. Who was a Judge? Someone who was honest and honorable and hated dishonest gain? Lying, cheating, stealing, and idolatry are things that have created darkness and dishonest gain. Manonfire63 meets an Atheist online, and they talk about The Bible. Why is the Atheist an Atheist? Various people from different backgrounds may have been atheists for various reasons. Why is this particular Atheist an Atheist at this time, and does he have an ideology and why? Manonfire63 questions the Atheist. He finds out the Atheist is a Secular Humanist. Humanism is an ideology rooted in Christianity or something that came from Christian Theologians. It was secularized, and a lot of other ideologies have been connected to it or associate with it. Manonfire63, keeps questioning said Secular Humanist Atheist. Manonfire63, mentions Honor, male honor and tradition, and explains that is a good and necissary thing. (Secular Humanism doesn't believe in that 1950's stuff. Secular Humanists tend to believe that honor is a thing of the past and good riddance.) Manonfire63 eventually exposes that the Secular Humanist Atheist has been a pawn of Satanists and/or is acutally a Satanist. Someone with no honor or integrity, not believing in honor or integrity. A Judge is your honor or the honorable. Honor is necissary for Justice. The Bible is The Word of God. God doesn't lie. The Atheist's Word is no good. He is a liar or someone who spreads deceptions. His subjective opinion of God and the Bible may have created blindness. He is a false teacher given he has been working to influence others. During the times of Moses, Law was given. Some people have been critics of Mosiac Law, or they don't understad it, and the harshness of it being of The World. In term of Heirarchies of Authority, Israel in the wildreness would have been outside of The World of Lies, living intimately with God experiencing the Spiritual. (Mana from heaven.) Seeing and experiencing miracles. God wanted them to be a Holy People. Does law bring order? Law does bring order. The purpose of the Laws of Moses is Holiness. Short Video: "God's Holiness." Law was given while the Hebrews were in the Wilderness. They were a Holy people. A society outside of other hierarchies of authority. God was their King. Given they did not worship other gods, and kept The Law, and were obedient to God, they would have been perfect and blessed. Authority and Law In the Book of Judges, Israel is different from other nations. Other nations had Kings. Israel had no Kings. God was their King. Given someone were to point out various things in The Laws of Moses they question, many of those things were associated with Paganism and worship of other gods, much of which has been secularized in someway today? Given someone was engaged in some sort of sin, was it because of a weakness of character, or because they started worshiping a pagan false god? God gave Moses Laws. These Laws are associated with with Holiness and being close to God. The Law and worship of God to Israel was a form of Patriotism. God Almighty is God of Israel, Isaac, and Jacob, God of their ancestors, God of Moses. Worshiping something else would make someone less of an Israelite? In following directions, the Hebrew people would be giving authority to God, and accepting God's Spirit. Identity is associated with The Soul. How does someone identify themselves? As a child of God or something else? The Laws of Moses establish a system of law and order. Given the Hebrews followed directions, they were blessed. In the New Testament, Jesus establishes The Body of Christ. What is The Body of Christ? Some are the feet, some the hands, some the eyes, some the nose, some the mouth. Some are Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, and Evangelists. Everyone has a function in The Body. We are a society of believers. An organic society. Israel in the Wilderness, or later in the Book of Judges, was a Society of Believers. Sin and idolatry is like a cancer or possibly a festering wound. If your left hand causes you to sin, cut it off. Given your eye causes you to sin, pull it out. This is similar in theme to The Laws of Moses. Jesus Christ is The Lord. He couldn't contradict other Prophets. The Bible is The Word of God, Word connotes honor and integrity. Israel didn't follow direction 100% in the Promised Land. Various forms of idolatry and sin came into their Body. Did they cut it off, or allow it to grow or fester? Whose authority were they under? In the Book of Judges, neighboring peoples would oppress the people of Israel during times of idolatry. People would cry out to God for help. God would send them a Judge. Did the people repent? Chaos and Order A man is a freshmen in High School, and it is August. He signed up to play High School football. He is new to football. He doesn't know the rules very well, or how the game works. The first few weeks may seem choatic. On the football field, things are moving fast, and he doesn't know how to react. The coaches work to breakdown various aspects of the game in drills. As the freshmen drills, he develops muscle memories. He develops mental toughness. In a scrimage, after several weeks, after the ball is snaped, there may be some chaos as he doesn't quite know what to expect. Due to various drills and a lot of practice, he becomes good at reacting. He lives in the moment. On a battlefield, there may be chaos as in the unexpected. A lot of horrible things may happen. Soldiers prepping themselves for war often drill a variety of scenarios. They develop mental toughness. Given a mortar round is fired at them, they may know how to react by instinct because they drilled something. Men who have drilled, and then experienced war, may not find it as chaotic. A order of things may develop over time, or they get used to loud noises and unpleasant things and experiences that may make others fearful or even cry. Chaos, in man's perspective, is a variety of unknown factors. Faith is a knowledgeable dependence. Jonah, at the time of Jonah 1:5-6 was a called Prophet. Jonah had grown in faith and knew something about Faith and God. Everyone else was fearful and afraid. Jonah was sleeping at the bottom of the ship. Jonah had been conditioned? Jonah had learned to trust God? A Soldier used to war may be conditioned towards dealing or experiencing the chaos of war. Having Faith in God and knowledge of God is on another level. Jesus shows a similar character in the New testament. Someone growing in Faith experienced trials experienced conditioning. He has Trust in God. Faith is a knowledgeable dependence. Order and Chaos are not necessarily the best ways to take about God. There is a lot more to it. Chaos and Order: Summing It Up Dr. Peterson talks about Hierarchies of Authority. A Hierarchy of Authority may be a CEO, District Manager, Manager - Commander and Chief, General, Colonel, Captain - Pope, Bishop, Priest. These are all Hierarchies of Authority. Whose will or authority be done? Man's will? Something else's will? God's will? In general, chaos, or what has been perceived as chaos, occurs due to man's disobedience.....and he was filthy, and rejected good things and righteousness. In seeking God, trying to view him or talking about him in terms of Chaos and Order may not be quite right. It is an interesting topic to discuss, but it may not be the best way to go about revealing God. Christians are Children of the Light and not the darkness. (Ephesians 5:8) Jesus Christ is The Light of the World. Dr. Jordan Peterson brings up a lot of interesting topics that may be helpful in leading people to knowledge of God.
  9. What does it mean that someone's soul rejoices? A feminist may watch MSNBC and Rachel Maddow. It makes her feel good. As a feminist, she has a goal. The ideology of feminism has a goal. When she believes that feminism is doing well and growing and they are progressing and moving on, her soul rejoices? She feels good? Feminism is a stumbling block. We could replace feminism with a number of other ideologies in the above example. They are all wrong. They are false, and most of them were created in a Modernist Context. Modernism is a Philosophy that began roughly around the French Revolution and ended with the Fall of the Berlin Wall. A part of Modernism became man working to solve the world's problems outside of God. The belief in man's triumph without religion. Modernism is Luciferian. Various ideologies that stem from it are Luciferian. People should be working to build The Kingdom of God, and leading men and women into righteousness and accepting God's Spirit. Christianity is transformational. Someone growing in Faith will experience changes in how they view or see The World. Cause and effect.
  10. For today, I am Skrek. Why Skrek? The Spiritual or Principalities have layers. It has layers like the atmosphere. Some of these layers have been like God's Clothes. (The Emperors New Clothes?) We shouldn't expose the Father's nakedness? (Genesis 9) Someone pulling back the layers for you, so you can see, may be an Ogre. Shrek beats up Thanos. Shrek takes the Infinity Gauntlet like a warrior from the Iliad taking the armor of a Hero he vanquished as a trophy. Skrek now has The Soul Stone. What exactly is The Soul Stone and what does it do? Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' (Matthew 22:37) Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.(Deuteronomy 6:5) Christians are to love The Lord their God with their Heart and Soul. Before Christ, this may have come partially in the form of Nationalism. Jacob's name was changed to Israel. God Almighty is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Isaac was a child of promise. God promised Abraham sons. Isaac is special. David defending Israel against Goliath was an act of National pride and patriotism. It was an act of love and faith with God. Loving God with your heart and soul, in terms of the Old Testament, may have come in the form of identity, like identity politics, how someone identifies and sees themselves. It was tied to a form of Nationalism. In Ezekiel 23, Israel and Judah are like two sisters God married. They prostituted themselves with foreign gods and foreign nations. That is multiculturalism. Someone with a heart for God is Zealous like David was. Zealous in defending his brothers and his God. Love of money is the root of all evil, and those looking to make money with foreigners or looking for foreign titles or foreign acceptance would be a multiculturalist and prone to sin and idolatry to fit in? Jesus is a Bridegroom looking for a Bride. Men are to love their wives as God loved the Church. The Church is said to be a Bride for Christ. Identity has a lot to do with the make up of the soul. Where is someone's heart and soul? Someone should identify themselves as a Child of God. They should work to build The Kingdom of God. That is where their soul should be. The Counter Culture is Satanic and based on Marxism and Crowley. It works to splinter and divide man, divide nations, divide the Church. Christians should reject it zealously. Men who tend to love God and love God's law tend to be traditional people and Nationalists. In Britain, for example, a lot of the coronation of the King or Queen and the symbolism is based on Prophet Samuel and the Anointing of King Saul like the King of Britain is God's Anointed. The Queen is God's Anointed and the head of the State Church, the Anglican Church? Love of God for many British would look like Traditional Nationalism? Multiculturalism would be like drinking a harlots wine? (Ezekiel 23)(Revelations 17) The head of man is Christ, the head of woman is her husband. (1 Corinthians 11:3) Christ is to man as man is to woman. (1 Corinthians 11:3) The head of man is Christ. The head of woman is her husband. God is said to have married Israel or Jerusalem in the Old Testament. The Greater Church is a bride for Christ. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her (Ephesians 5:25) There is a 16 year old girl. She starts dating. She has a boyfriend. This is her first boyfriend. She loves him. They end up in sin together. She molds and changes for him. She sees the two of them as a couple. She works to build an identity as a couple. Her identity is shaped by the relationship. As she is shaping their identity together, and because they were in sin, they became "one flesh," she has a Soul Tie. Their souls are tied together. He dumps her after a 9 months. He didn't really take the relationship that seriously, and may be headed for an extended adolescence. The US Government says he is not a man till age 26 for reasons to do with Healthcare, and he may not understand responsibility and manhood and know who he is due to a variety of factors till around that time anyway. He wasn't ready for that type of commitment. The 16 year old girl is now a hurt woman. She is damaged. She has to build an identity outside of that relationship. She hates her ex. She ends up a feminist. She wants a career, and she hates men. Her identity around feminism starts to form. That is what she is loving with her soul and her heart. In college she meets has a new boyfriend. He doesn't like all that feminist stuff. She likes him. Her plan is to be married by 25. Her biological clock is ticking, and he came along at the right time. She drops a lot of the feminist identity to forge a new identity with that relationship. Kingdom of God The Avengers movie came out recently. Someone has The Soul Stone. Given someone had the Soul Stone, he could make Captain American a Captain Russia. Captain America's Identity and what he loves and fights for is tied to his patriotism and love of country, what he loves with his soul. It is tied to the pre-Counter Culture value system of what makes a man. With the Soul Stone, someone could make Captain America Captain Russia. His identity and what he loves is changed. How Captain America perceives himself is changed. When David defended God and Israel against Goliath, he Loved God and Israel with his Heart and Soul. David is a Patriot. God in the Bible is God of Israel, Isaac, and Jacob, God of David's Ancestors who lead his people out of Egypt and slavery. God gave David victory over the lions and bears that would try to steal David's lambs away as he was shepherding. Surely that Philistine stood no chance? As Christians we are Children of God. Christianity is transformational. Someone accepts in the Spirit of God, and is baptized. They become part of The Body of Christ. The Family of believers. They become a Child of God. That means something. As a Christian, they are important, and play a role in the Body. They should love God with their Heart and Soul. My Father has a House. Song: "In my Father's House." All are welcome. We are neither Jew nor Gentile. God will take a servant who fears him from any Nation. God likes Glory. Would you like to work to bring God Glory or work for God's Glory?
  11. What exactly is The Son of Man? God has reveled some things to me. There are a lot of complex ideas here. I will work to show them as best I am allowed to. I am going to connect some dots for Bible Study and contemplation. Son of Man would be Son of Adam? Able, the first murder, was a Son of Adam. He offered God his first born lambs and the best of his flock. (Genesis 4:4) The Lord is a Shepherd. Prophet Ezekiel is Son of Man in the Bible. Jesus is Son of Man. Son of Man may be roughly translated to "Born due to The Sins of Men." Able was born due to Adam's sin. Not because of sin or in sin, but due to sin, Able was born. Ezekiel came at a time where God's Judgement was being brought on Jerusalem and Judah. Ezekiel laid on his side for 390 days to simulate the siege of Jerusalem. He was "Born or Called Due to the Sins of Men?" There was a falling away, and God acted. Jesus is Son of Man. Jesus may have come at a time where there was a lot of wickedness similar to the time of Noah and/or Sodom and God so loved the World that he gave his only begotten son. Jesus Christ prophesied the destruction of the Temple of Jerusalem. Not too long after his death, the Temple was destroyed and then The Diaspora. In Ezekiel 23, Israel and Judah prostituted themselves with the Nations. God sent them into the Nations. Eye for an Eye? Jesus talks about Son of Man in the Third Person. Your Body is a Temple, the Spirit of God lives in you. Jesus lives in men through his Holy Spirit. Jesus talking about the Son of Man in the Third person may reference him living in people through his Spirit. The Son of Man returning on a Throne of Glory may be return in a man. (Matthew 25:31) Man is God's Glory. (1 Corinthians 11:7) A man's Body may be a throne? Going back to Ezekiel, Ezekiel is Son of Man. God takes Ezekiel's wife. 15 The word of the Lord came to me: 16 “Son of man, with one blow I am about to take away from you the delight of your eyes. Yet do not lament or weep or shed any tears. 17 Groan quietly; do not mourn for the dead. Keep your turban fastened and your sandals on your feet; do not cover your mustache and beard or eat the customary food of mourners.” (Ezekiel 24:15-17) God takes Ezekiel's wife. Why? Your Body is a Temple for the Spirit of God. God is long suffering. A Prophet may know God's suffering. In Ezekiel 23 you have Samaria and Jerusalem as wives God married who prostituted themselves with foreign gods and foreign nations. Ezekiel may have needed to know and feel loss. Also, God gave authority on Earth to Adam. Adam lost that authority in original sin. Man is made in the image of God. What man does on Earth may reflect something. A Prophet working in obedience to God may have given God legal authority to act due to spiritual laws. God was bringing his Judgement. God took Ezekiel's wife. God took Ezekiel's wife, and Ezekiel is Son of Man. The Son of Man comes as a Bridegroom looking for a Bride. Jesus Christ is the Bridegroom. There are the Parables of the 10 Virgins and the Parables of the Wedding Feast for example. Able being a Son of Adam, a shepherd, who offered his first born lambs to God was the first murder. God's plan is God's Kingdom. The Spirit of God has been like a train at a constant rate of motion working to bring all man back under God in God's Kingdom. Jesus Christ was God's sacrificial Lamb, his first born son, for man's sins. God works in particular ways. There are spiritual laws.
  12. The concept of "Nothing New happens Under the Sun" is important to understanding history, prophecy, and "The Signs of the Times." Any time 10,000 has popped up in the media, it may be a sign for something.
  13. Question: What else can be done with The Forms and Christianity? God has a character. Spirits have various characters. Jesus cast out Spirits. Various heresies in Christian history may have been dressed up differently. They may have been of a specific spirit. Utilizing The Forms and "Enduring Spiritual Themes" someone may learn to see this. Baal Worship involved Temple Prostitution. There are references to prostitution in Ezekiel 16 and Ezekiel 23 and Revelations 17. Baal Worship may have been The Form of something. Anywhere there is ritualized sex that may be a Form of Temple Prostitution. Given you study Rasputin from Russia there was The Form of something there. The Form of what Rasputin did is similar to "The Children of God," a cult from the US in which Rose McGowan was from? They are very similar, The Form of something, but dressed up a little differently? What is The Form of Righteousness or Wickedness? The Pagans were wicked and they didn't have Sabbath? There is no Rest for The Wicked? That would be like Britany Spears in some of her videos? There are a variety of Bible Studies someone may conduct with this.
  14. For a little while around 2000, "What Would Jesus Do" (WWJD) became a popular catchphrase. Many Christians wore wristbands or bracelets with WWJD on it to remind themselves to think about Christ in their daily actions and lives. Did they really know who Christ is? Did they really understand who the Son of Man is? Given they were taught a Post Modern Mush god or Official Script, they may have had false perceptions of who Jesus is. God revealed to me a concept to help break false perceptions. I had been calling it The Ties That Bind, but it is related to Plato and the Forms. The following are two past related posts that help explain what The Ties That Bind are and how The Forms work with the Bible: "Have Gun Will Travel:Christianity and the Ties That Bind" "The Forms" The Son of Man is The Form of something. To get the best picture of The Form of the Son of Man, we look at a variety of scriptures that reference The Son of Man. The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’ But wisdom is proved right by her deeds.” (Matthew 11:19) Jesus replied, "Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head." (Luke 9:58) What would Jesus do? Your average Christian in 2000 may have overlooked these two scriptures. He may have been told God is love, and to love your enemies as yourself, and a variety of other things. They had a Form of who Jesus was in their minds. They may of had a false perception. Given some scriptures change someone's perception of who Jesus is, someone had a false perception. They need to look at the bigger picture, and change their perceptions. The Forms provide a good way in which to do this, and to study the Bible. King David was a Warrior King. He is part of prophecy. 9 Instead, they will serve the Lord their God and David their king, whom I will raise up for them. (Jeremiah 30:9) Introducing David into the bigger picture of who Jesus is may change the perception of many people who believed in a Post Modern Mush god. King David was a Warrior King. He is a part of Prophecy. In Jeremiah 30, Israel is reestablished. Israel is currently a State, and Culturally Jewish people live there. King David is a Warrior King. Reading the New Testament from an Old Testament perspective, Jesus is The Lord. Jesus as a Prophet could not contradict himself or the Prophets. God spoke through the Prophets. The LORD is a warrior; the LORD is his name. (Exodus 15:3) The LORD will march out like a champion, like a warrior he will stir up his zeal; with a shout he will raise the battle cry and will triumph over his enemies. (Isaiah 42:13) Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. (Matthew 10:34) Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends. (John 15:13) In working to understand who Jesus is, do all these these scriptures line up with someone's understanding of who Jesus is? No? They have a false perception of who God is. They have placed stumbling blocks between them and God. Yes? They may be on the verge of finding God in a big way. The Holy Ghost is a teacher and a councilor. The Forms is a useful tool for Bible Study. What is The Form of The Son of Man?
  15. One day, I was working for God, and studying my Bible, and The Holy Ghost pointed out Ecclesiastes 1:9-11 to me. Nothing new happens under the sun. The concept of "Nothing New Happens Under the Sun" became very central to what God was showing me in terms of prophecy. Later, I found that Partial Preterism kind of covers what God was showing me, but maybe not 100% perfectly. In terms of Prophecy, there is the Book of Jude. Jude 1:14 and Enoch 1:9 both are talking about a figure coming with with 10,000 or thousands upon thousands of Holy Ones to bring God's Judgement on The Wicked. Cyrus The Great was God's chosen conqueror to bring his Judgement upon Babylon. (Isaiah 45) Cyrus the Great is mentioned many times in the Bible favorably. Cyrus had 10,000 Immortals. 10,000 Immortals like 10,000 Saints? Cyrus the Great was also referred to as King of Kings rightly or wrongly? Cyrus the Great appears to have fulfilled Enoch 1:9. Nothing New Happens under the sun. We have Jude 1:14. There is also a similar reference in Deuteronomy 33:2. This concept of Nothing New Happens Under the Sun works for many things. One of the common critiques of Preterism is that John of Patmos would have been living through Revelations or wrote it after Revelations. Give John saw that Nothing New Happens Under the Sun he may have seen how God was working, and it may have helped aid him in understanding and Prophetic writing and/or his vision was informed by what he was seeing and experiencing.
  16. God is reason. There is a link between reason and faith. Breaking down the lyrics of "When the Man Comes Around" was a big jump start into picking up Biblical reasoning for me. What I have seen is that whenever someone invokes some sort of religious imagery in song or lyric, it may be significant. Johnny Cash may have been religious. On another side it could be that Lucifer was known as an Angel of Light and he works to steal things. The day of The Lord comes as a thief in the night. Another aspect may be "God will not be mocked, and your reap what you sow." In general, any time someone invokes particular religious imagery, there may be something to it spiritually.
  17. There is a difference between being a Prophet, and having The Gift of Prophecy. A 5 year old girl may have the Gift of Prophecy. A Pastor may have the Gift of Prophecy. A Church Elder may have the Gift of Prophecy. A Prophet has a function or role to play. The focus here is more on if the song is Prophetic. Another factor here may also be "The Power of the Tongue." Link: http://www.christcenteredmall.com/teachings/tongue/index.htm When someone invokes various religious imagery it is coming from some Spirit?
  18. Was Johnny Cash Prophetic? Johnny Cash originally wanted to sing Gospel Music. He received a degree in divinity. He has some songs that play on spiritual themes. God is reason. One of the first steps I took down that journey was working to understand the lyrics of "When the Man Comes Around." This is a Bible Study. I won't completely break down the song, but I will show you some interesting things I have found. Johnny Cash “The_Man_Comes Around” And I heard, as it were, the noise of thunder: One of the four beasts saying: "Come and see." And I saw. And behold, a white horse. There's a man goin' 'round takin' names. An' he decides who to free and who to blame. Everybody won't be treated all the same. There'll be a golden ladder reaching down. When the man comes around. The hairs on your arm will stand up. At the terror in each sip and in each sup. Will you partake of that last offered cup, Or disappear into the potter's ground. When the man comes around. Hear the trumpets, hear the pipers. One hundred million angels singin'. Multitudes are marching to the big kettle drum. Voices callin', voices cryin'. Some are born an' some are dyin'. It's Alpha and Omega's Kingdom come. And the whirlwind is in the thorn tree. The virgins are all trimming their wicks. The whirlwind is in the thorn tree. It's hard for thee to kick against the pricks. Till Armageddon, no Shalam, no Shalom. Then the father hen will call his chickens home. The wise men will bow down before the throne. And at his feet they'll cast their golden crowns. When the man comes around. Whoever is unjust, let him be unjust still. Whoever is righteous, let him be righteous still. Whoever is filthy, let him be filthy still. Listen to the words long written down, When the man comes around. Hear the trumpets, hear the pipers. One hundred million angels singin'. Multitudes are marchin' to the big kettle drum. Voices callin', voices cryin'. Some are born an' some are dyin'. It's Alpha's and Omega's Kingdom come. And the whirlwind is in the thorn tree. The virgins are all trimming their wicks. The whirlwind is in the thorn tree. It's hard for thee to kick against the pricks. In measured hundredweight and penny pound. When the man comes around. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts, And I looked and behold: a pale horse. And his name, that sat on him, was Death. And Hell followed with him. What is a White Horse? A White Horse would be a conqueror. I saw that White Horse could be taken to be Male Thumos. Articles: "Got Thumos?" The Art of Manliness "Thumos in The BIble" Paul Coughlin God has a righteous Anger. It burns. Someone full of God's Spirit may be able to feel his anger. A White Horse is a conqueror. When you were a child, and in school, did you ever see a boy who had to be first at everything? That is Thumos. He wants to win and be first. Your body is a temple. Jesus lives inside of you. Someone with God's Spirit learns to tune his thumos through trials. (James 1:2-4) The little boy that had to be first at everything learns patience and how to compete and play well with others. He reigns in his Thumos and learns how to apply it well with God. Is someone a Dark Horse Katy Perry or more of a White Horse like King David, Jesus Christ, or Apostle Paul? Who is The Man? The Man Coming Around would be Jesus? Jesus Christ is the Man. (1 Timothy 2:5) Jesus is in heaven. How could Jesus be on the Earth walking around? Your Body is a Temple. Jesus lives inside of you. Could The Man be a Prophetic character who serves Jesus Christ; a Bond Servant of Christ? Or disappear into the potter's ground. "Or disappear into the potter's ground" is a really savage lyric. Judas hung himself in the Potter's Ground after betraying Jesus Christ. Given The Man Comes Around, some people who have been working against Jesus Christ and God's Kingdom may recognize their betrayal and wish to kill themselves? It's hard for thee to kick against the pricks. Mankind is like God's Vineyard. There are a lot of allegories or Metaphors in the Bible for farming. In Luke 20:9-19, Mankind is like God's Vineyard. The part of the plow, the part that touches the ground and turns up earth, is the pricks or the goad. A farmer plows often in straight lines. It is hard to kick against the pricks. Jesus Christ is a farmer. During his ministry on Earth, he was sowing seeds. He planted seeds and it took some time for them to grow and mature. Someone working against Jesus Christ would be trying to kick against the pricks? Saul on his way to Damascus is confronted by Christ. "'Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.'" (Acts 26:14) That is what I have for now. I found breaking down the song, and working to understand the lyrics to be a fun Bible Study. It also helped bring me closer to God and mature in understanding of God and Spiritual things.
  19. Whose will is being done? Your will? Something else's will? God's will? The Kingdom of God is where God's will is being done. We spread the Kingdom of God by Evangelism. God guided me to the following website: http://kingwatch.co.nz/Kingdom_of_God.htm
