  1. What type of "faith" is required? Is it the type that has faith that Jesus existed? Even the devil has that type of faith. People throw around the word faith, but two people can never agree on how to apply the word faith. And when they do, it usually amounts to the exact opposite of what they first say the word 'faith' means. What would you say is the faith we need to receive Christ? peace be to you
  2. Sure thing man. I would just heed the good advice that Paul gives in 1 Corinthians 10:12, "So the one who thinks he is standing firm should be careful not to fall." Your words would have more wait, and my confidence would be stronger in them, if you were willing to do it now as Jesus is asking us to do. But, I have confidence that if you will reject the mark and continue following God, then we will meet someday. When our vision of preaching the gospel to every creature gets bigger, our world invariably gets smaller. Peace be to everyone who reads this post.
  3. Wow, that sounds amazing! Does that mean everybody is saved, even though they don't know Christ? I mean, since the gift is free, then God hands it out to everybody, right? In peace
  4. Ah man, what you were saying up until the very last line was spot on! I found myself saying amen the whole way down! But why the delay? Why not have the same faith that you think you will have when the mark comes now? Jesus says, "Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest." There are people that need to hear the message that you have received, and to build their faith that you think you have to survive the coming MOTB without working for money. So why wait? Maybe you don't see the seriousness of waiting until the last second. Here, watch this video that explains the seriousness of getting off the 'conveyor belt' that is leading us to the mark NOW, before it's too late. bit.ly/TheBeastIsHere In peace
  5. As the scriptures testifies, "One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind." Romans 14:5. Indeed, my job here is done. Seed has been planted. If God is faithful (which he always is), then someone will come along to water. Finally, the increase we will both enjoy together! In peace
  6. Let's try focusing on this for a sec... If what you are saying is true (i.e., that someone can be called out and preach the gospel and live off it without needing to work for money), then why don't we ALL do that? Imagine that for a sec, brother, nobody spending their time working for money, at a job they most likely hate and wouldn't do if they didn't get paid for it, rather they spend their full-time and effort sharing the gospel to the ends of the Earth? Doesn't that sound like the first century church who turned the world upside down? The people that lived and ate together in one accord sharing all things in common. Why do some of us choose to stay enslaved to our jobs and not work for our heavenly Father full-time, if God is asking us too? Hasn't God bought us with the price of His only son? Why do we still choose to be slaves of men (which is another word for the employee - boss relationship) when we are able to become freeman? (1 Corinthians 7:21-23) Each person would have to answer that themselves, I suppose. All I want to do is let people know this aspect of the good news of the gospel. The good news that we no longer have to worry about the morrow or focus on material things. God is willing to take care of us in ALL ways of life. He is making a call for all that are his to come to him that ire heavy laden, and he will give you rest. For he is meek and lowly in heart. And believe me brothers and sisters, the person who promises these things are faithful and true. If you want to know the seriousness of not freeing yourself from money NOW, before it is too late, then watch this video that connects what Jesus taught about living by faith to the coming Mark of the Beast!!! bit.ly/TheBeastIsHere In peace
  7. I am very confused at your reaction to what I shared above, and why you quoted this verse from James? You mentioned it in your post, and I do admit I didn't finish reading it, I apologize for doing that. Now that I have read what you said in the bottom, I am more convinced that what you are sharing isn't from God, rather, as you say, from man. If you believe that what God wants for me, and any other Christian, is to work for money, then I can't accept that. Not because I want to be stubborn and hold onto my belief, rather this is the clear doctrine taught by Jesus. You mentioned that if you had to learn something from man, then it isn't from God. While there is truth to that, that also isn't as black and white as you make it out to be. Have you honestly never learned something from the same pastor that shared this thought to you? God uses people to reveal his words to us, because we have a tendency to close our ears to further revelation. I pray you can consider that it is you who is basing what you believe to be God's will on what man said, not me. Also, when I hear the term Word of God, I think of Jesus. It sounds like you believe that the Word of God is the Bible, but that isn't scriptural. Watch this video to learn more: bit.ly/SecretName
  8. Where did I say that Jesus commanded folks to go and work no more? Read carefully, friend. I am saying that we shouldn't work for money. That has, and is, the point I am making. Does that mean we just sit around and do nothing? God forbid. What we need to do after we obey Jesus' command and stop working for money, is to continue obeying Jesus' command and start working for God. Simple, isn't it? Jesus never taught for his disciples to become donors to those sent out into the mission; rather he taught that what we should do is pray that God will send more labourers into his harvest (Luke 10:2). Sadly everybody wants to sign up as a 'financial supporter', but nobody wants to follow Jesus by taking up their cross and following Him.
  9. Answer me this question, then I will answer yours: If Jesus told us that we cannot serve two masters, God and money, and someone works for money, then can they also serve God. Answer me.
  10. Take notice that you added the part about making MONEY to support yourself. The scripture doesn't say that. I am sincerely sorry to hear that God sent you there, for you to then turn away. Why do I say this? God was wanting you to work indeed, but it wasn't for money, rather he wanted you to work for Him. It sounded like you left more on a whim that wasn't ordained by God, considering it didn't work out. No shame, it happens to all of us. But when you were at your lowest point reaching out to God, He answered, but you misunderstood what he wanted you to do. Why do I say this with such confidence? Jesus is clear what the job of the Holy spirit is in John 14:26, "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." As we can see from the quoted scripture above, the job of the Holy spirit is to remind us of what Jesus taught. If the spirit that was speaking to you during this time was from God, then you can line up what you believe God revealed to you with the words of Jesus. If we do this, what do we find? Matthew 6:24, "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." John 6:27, "Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed." The spirit wouldn't have led you to disobey Jesus' commands, if it was of God. This was the point I was making in my previous letter. One can go out with a sincere (or we can use the word faith if you like) heart, but they have to be willing to hear more from God in order to continue walking in faith. Let him who have ears, hear and understand.
  11. Matthew 15:7-9, "Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." In peace
  12. Maybe I should highlight one specific word that seemed you have missed. PERVERTED grace Gospel. Do I believe in the grace of God? Absolutely! Should grace be used as a justification to wilfully disobey God? Certainly not! This latter is the fruit of the perverted grace gospel.
  13. Often people turn to people that tickle the ears, rather than those that give the hard truth. Why? Because they don't love the truth. They love the approval of others and to be spoken good of by men. Within this perverted false grace teaching that the church has come up with is exactly what Jesus spoke about to the teachers in his time. "But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in." They created a doctrine that invariably elevates Paul above Jesus. They have gagged the Son of God and put Paul as the replacement. They say we follow Paul and his words. His words are the true gospel and words of eternal life. Jesus' words cannot compare to Paul's words. Therefore let us follow Paul and leave Jesus. Paul's own words will condemn you: Galatians 1:8-9, "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed." 1 Corinthians 1:10-13, "Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?" This is the fruit of such a perverted grace teaching that the church has used to deceive the hearts of those that seek after God. Don't be fooled there is nothing hidden that won't be uncovered. The secrets of our hearts will be made known, because He that watches knows all and understands all. Jesus alone has God's stamp of approval. His gospel is the gospel I preach. The one that says we must obey the words of the Son of God and do the will of His Father. Those that use Paul to justify disobedience to the Word of God will be likened to a foolish man who build his house upon sand. For it was not based on the rock of Jesus' teachings (Matthew 7:24). Mark 8:38, "Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels." Come Lord Jesus! Amen. In peace
  14. It sounds like you were very sincere in following the leading from God. That is commendable. One thing I've noticed in my walk with Christ is the temptation to become complacent. Complacent in learning more about God and following Him. We hold onto yesterday thinking this is what God wants of me today. Consequently, we spiritually close our ears to further revelation to God. Consider the story of Abraham. God told Abraham to sacrifice issac. He walked all the way up to the mountain about to kill His son until God told him to stop. Notice, God gave him a revelation, Abraham followed it, but Abraham was open enough to hear God change his mind and give a new revelation for God's will. Sadly, most of us today (including myself) live off one revelation that we perceived to be from God, and stop there... God mouth is gagged because of our complacency. God isn't a God to over throw our free will. However, he will send messengers to us to give us the message that we are choosing not to hear. Some they will scorn, others they will persecute, some they will kill, all for the purpose of shutting them up. They might of have an excuse for their sin when they were ignorant, but Jesus spoke clearly when he said, "If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin." Truth in the end will prevail and our conscience will prick us of the truth is we are willing to listen to it and not seer it like those that oppose the truth. In peace
  15. By what standard do we use to determine which Gospel is in error? Matthew 21:42-44, " Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: “‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes’? 43 “Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit. 44 Anyone who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed.” Matthew 7:24-27, "Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” If our Gospel isn't built upon the rock of Jesus, then our house is build on sand; it will fall. 1 Peter 2:4-8," As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— 5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house[a] to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6 For in Scripture it says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him (who is this person we are suppose to trust?) will never be put to shame.”[b] 7 Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe, “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,”[c] 8 and, “A stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall.” They stumble because they disobey the message—which is also what they were destined for." Notice here that those that stumble are the ones that disobeyed the message. Who's message are we suppose to obey? Who is the cornerstone of our faith? Indeed, many people do preach a perverted Gospel, so understanding who's Gospel we must obey, is important now, more than ever. In peace
  16. Thanks for your response. I looked up the verses you quoted, and one interesting point occured to me. The word 'money' isn't mentioned in any of those verses. Does it say to 'work'? Yes. That is obvious. Where does the idea that when Paul says we must work that it suggests for money? If Paul lines himself with Jesus, then it would make sense that the interpretation of that verse would be to work for God and not for money. If we are using the Bible to interpret Paul's words, isn't what I'm suggested lines right up with what Jesus (the cornerstone) taught in Matthew 6:24? I think it is wise to always have the Holy spirit to guide us into all truth. It is wise to understand the job of the Holy spirit, also. John 14:26 says, "THe comforter, which is the Holy ghost, who the Father will send in my name will teach you all things; and bring to remembrance whatsoever I taught you to do." If Paul is being led by the Holy spirit, then what he teaches must line up with what Jesus taught. If not, then we must put to question the words of Paul not the words of Jesus. I feel you are using Paul's words to interpret what Jesus said, rather than letting Jesus' words interpret Paul. This is an error. I am a bit surprised that you quit your job to start doing God's work and God didn't provide! This seems contrary to the promise that Jesus gave us in Matthew 6:25-33. In my experience, I did take this teaching seriously and quit my job, and I went into all the world and preached the gospel, along with forsaking all of my material possessions (Luke 14:33). I lacked and still don't lack any of my daily necessities. God's promises are reliable and true. When you went out and preached the gospel, did you go alone or with another brother/sister? In peace
  17. So it begins! You are doing the same thing that you just accused others of doing with divorce and remarriage. Sigh. One day I will find someone on this Forum that is willing to take Jesus at his word, and listen to Him as a child would their Father.
  18. Amen. Even this one: Matthew 6:24, "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." Jesus is clearly saying that we either choose God or mammon. We can't do both. Yet who receives this word? Who quits their job and stop serving mammon in order to serve God alone? Like you mentioned, people twist Jesus' words to get their way...
  19. I came across this video that was on my twitter feed that stated, "The Mark of The Beast Is Here!". I am big on Bible prophecy so seeing a title like this certainly caught my eye. After watching the video it appears that the title was 'click bait', since the REAL mark of the beast isn't here, however, what is happening in Kenya is a clear indication that we are close to the mark being implemented worldwide. This is what the video was elaborating on. Interesting watch: bit.ly/MOTB666 In peace
  20. John 12:48, "He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day." In peace
  21. As mentioned previously, if you want to follow Paul and teach others to follow Paul, then so be it. I, however, will teach people to follow Jesus only. In peace
  22. 1 Corinthians 7:6, "But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment." 1 Corinthians 7:12, "But to the rest speak I, not the Lord:" 2 Corinthians 11:17, "That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting." Not in these verses. Paul is fallible. Jesus is infallible. If you would like to put your faith in Paul and His gospel, then my words (which are Jesus' words) won't change your mind. Go in peace.
  23. I have forsaken everything. You see, once you let go of your attachments to physical materials by physically leaving it, then you are no longer living or owning anything. God gives and God takes. I forsook my computer, and God gave me another one. It is part of His promise. You can read about it here: Mark 10:29-30, " And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, 30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. As the OP stated, there is only one gospel. Not one side of the cross and the other. It is either you are on Jesus' side, or not. If Jesus said you must do this in order to get into heaven, and You or Paul or moses, maybe Solomon says I don't need to, then in whom should I put my faith in? BTW, the first century Christians forsook all (Acts 2:44-45 & ACts 4:34-35) - POST cross... You say your gospel can be found in the teachings of Paul. Hmmm. let's see what Paul says about using him to negate the TRUE gospel shall we? Galatians 1:8-9, " But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed." What Gospel do you suppose Paul preached if it wasn't our Lord's Jesus' gospel? People used Paul's letters to try and negate Jesus' words during his time (the same as you are doing), so I would take heed of Paul's words if you are going to rely on him to save you. I find it hard to believe that on judgement day when God asks you what you did with His son's Jesus' words (the standard by which we will be judged - John 12:48), that you will be able to summon Paul to your defence to justify your disobedience to the only begotten son of God by listening to some teachings of Paul taken out of it's context. If you want to gamble your eternity on that, then so be it. As for me and my house, we will put our faith in the Lord. In peace
  24. Fair question. Answer: Yes Though even if you find fault in me (which was the point of asking the question), I am not the example - Jesus is. Now the next obvious question: Will YOU forsake all to be a good example of what Christianity is all about? In peace
  25. I notice that you are considered a 'guess'. Why is that? Last time I checked you made an account. If you can, DM me. I have a question to ask you (I would DM you, but I am not able to). In peace
