  1. So. I am a bi person. (Biromantic asexual, to be exact. It means I feel romantic feelings for both sexes, but that I don't wish to have sex with anybody. I want a romantic relationship without the sex. Hetero-romantic asexuals also exist.)

So, in the Christian LGBT community, there are 3, sometimes 4, defined theological stances:
    1. Side A: fully affirming, believe that same sex unions are blessed by God
    2. Side B: Not affirming. Believe that God forbids same sex sexual and romantic activity. Believe that sexuality is innate, and don't seek to change it. Only focuses on not acting on it and living a chaste life of celibacy.
    3. Side X: Also known as ex-gays. They believe that same sex activity AND at all experiencing attraction is a sin & that same sex attracted individuals should seek to get rid of their same sex attraction and become straight, or have no attraction at all.
    4. Side Y: Kinda between side B and side X, they don't believe orientation change is necessary but they are very against calling yourself gay/bi/LGBT/queer at any capacity.

    I'm side B.

edit: Let me also be clear that I believe there's a difference between attraction and lust. Lust is far more intentional and deliberate. Lust is fantasizing about something you can't or shouldn't have, it's trying to have your cake and eat it too.

  2. Once someone visited my house who was trying to communicate with ghosts. At the time, her father was living upstairs & renting the space from my family. What's scary is she was asking the "ghosts" questions and getting the correct answers! (She asked the "ghost" my mother's name. It responded with her name.) She was also into Wicca.

While I never saw anything, the man had seen beings from the spirit world all his life. (He's a strong Christian.) He told us that after his daughter left, he was seeing shadow people walk all over the upstairs floor. He prayed for 3 days before they finally left.

While I find the concept of demons and ghosts rather fascinating.....I want nothing to do with them, and I hope I never have a personal encounter.
