  3. This is 2 times now that this stupid world has taken my best friends first Deseree Holland, 27, and now Tori 21 both killed in A senseless tragedy 2 life's cut short because of stupid people this world is messed up Officials with the Orlando Police Department identified the victim as Victoria Straughter, 21. Investigators said they're looking for a group of young men who are responsible for her death. Authorities said Straughter was shot in the neck about 2 a.m. while traveling along Garland Avenue. Straughter was able to drive a few more blocks before crashing into a fence at the intersection of Washington Street and Garland Avenue. A man traveling in the car with Straughter was not hurt. "It's cold. It's calculated, and it's a tragedy for a family, and it's unfortunate that someone is on their way home, and they didn't make it home," Orlando Police Department Sgt. Barb Jones said. Police said they were looking for a group Hispanic men in their 20s who were seen walking in the area just before the shooting. "It's troublesome," said Orlando Police Department Chief Paul Rooney. "I don't know what caused the altercation." Straughter's grief-stricken sister stood by crime scene tape early Thursday shaking in disbelief as police looked for clues in the attack. Authorities were able to locate a shell casing near the intersection of Pine Street and Garland Avenue. "It was senseless, and somebody probably saw something, and somebody probably knows something," Jones said. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS. During the last six months there have been seven robberies, two rapes and 16 assaults downtown. Most Popular Stories On WESH.com Copyright 2011 by WESH.COM. All rights reserved. 14. Some people believe that all who commit suicide go immediately to Hell. However, the Bible never says if this is the case. The Bible is silent on this issue.God probably did not address it in black in white for a good reason. Murder and suicide are not unpardonable sins. The only unforgivable sins are rejecting Christ (Mark 16:16) and blaspheming the Holy Spirit. so what i need to know is it a one way trip to hell if one kills themselves? well realy i guess it dose not matter cant be much wors then it is now right I am so depressed and after years of being this way - I am just plain tired I am tired of disappointments - tired of being loved There are only two things keeping me from killing myself one is my 5 week old son and the other is that I knew God once a long time ago But I'm tired of living like this.At this point I just can't seem to forgive i cannot find any peace, for a variety of reasons never reported I learned too late the tragedies of keeping the family secret, denial is a key factor in the silence. "a refusal to admit the truth or reality becuase maybe i cant face it denial has become my only means of survival. shamed into silence i feel like something was wrong with me, or that I deserved it (the abuse).as a child i was made to believe it must be "OK". Or, you question, "if I tell them what he did to me, are they going to be upset with me?" and still think that way Neverthe less,"The consequences of my denial will be with me for a lifetime I look back now and I am amazed at how long I locked up my soul. somehow became my responsibility to prevent anyone from knowing the shameful truth about me I am just plain tired and i cant do it any more i am sorry i got off track uhmm the ? was Do all those who kill themselves go to Hell?

  17. We believe in our salvation by Faith... and faith is a spiritual thing. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. We have reasons to believe for the hope that is within us and that is what we are to share. The bible tells us that man is a fallen being and that death awaits him because of sin. Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Either a person can see this as true or they can't. I know there is a God because He is self evident. Creation itself bears witness to the Creator. Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Romans 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: God has provided a way for us to be saved because of His love for us. Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. A person can either see this or they can't. I came to the conclusion that the bible was God's word and that it was true after decades of searching. I realized that this revelation from God to me could not be seen by a casual inquisitive cynic or by a person who was simply curious as to why I believed what I believed. 1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 1 Corinthians 2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 1 Corinthians 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. So, you see it is impossible to convince someone who hasn't or won't yield themselves to the spirit of God to understand the things of God. I know this... John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. God only reveals Himself to those who have exerscised the gift of faith and have sought Him diligently. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. The fact is no amount of discussion or evidence, including miracles will bring faith to someone who is not inclined to believe. The world is in an evil state and man is lost. The bible is the only book that has shown that there will be no peace until the prince of peace comes. I can see that this is true. As much as God desires that men should come to Him there is no way He will force anyone to seek or find Him. Christians have an obligation to present the message. They can give an answer for the hope that is in them. 1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: No one ever decalred that the answer would be satisfactory to skeptics or those who's true intent is not to discove God but to discover themselves. Psalms 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever. 19. Many religious folks talk about "heart-felt" faith and about seeking after God "with all my heart," but "they do not understand either what they are saying or the matters about which they confidently affirm" (1 Tim. 1:7). This is seen in the case of those who speak derisively and disparagingly about "seeking to find God between the pages of a book." When faced with the fact that their doctrines and practices are human traditions, the inventions of men, they smugly and confidently assert that their faith is "spiritual and deeply imbedded in my heart, and not in the keeping of commandments." They assure us they have "more confidence that Jesus is in my heart than you do that he is in your commandments." Therefore, those who would divorce "whole hearted faith in God" from "keeping commandments" are separating that which the Holy Spirit joined together, and we would remind them that "what God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." God joined whole hearted faith and trust in him with the keeping of his commandments. Those who would sever them do so at their own peril (Matt. 7:21-27).
  20. If you were in a court of law trying to prove you have salvation, what evidence could you present to prove your case? What many people try to present as evidence of salvation is their feelings. Often this "evidence" is described as a "better felt than told" experience, "indescribable yet, undeniable." They state that those who haven't experienced it just can't understand it. But such is really not evidence of salvation at all. Why did the Lord expect us to be able to give an account for the hope within us to all who ask if they can't understand it anyway? The devout Hindu, Muslim, and other religious people can present the same testimony regarding their salvation-- they feel saved. Feelings, One may honestly and sincerely feel that he is saved, but that does not prove that he is saved. One's hope of salvation cannot rest on the foundation of feelings, because feelings are not evidence of forgiveness. Jesus declared, "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven so my thing is tell me is it real or not salvation
