  1. That Noah or the Lord Jesus Christ would have preached to the fallen evil angels is absolutely absurd and incorrect! Because angels who have become disobedient and hostile to the true Holy God, will never receive or experience restoration! They cannot convert to the Lord Jesus Christ, simply because He does not invite them to do so! (Heb.2:16) The Holy God does not accept evil angels but He accepts the seed of Abraham, who are people who love Him and believe in Him; therefore people who are of Christ. (Gal.3:29)
  2. My comments are about the first sentence of your notes @Michael37, not about 1Pe 3:18-20. The Lord Jesus Christ always preached to people who were in death because of their sins and trespasses (Eph.2:1), for repentance and faith in Him, that they might live through Him. (John 6:47, 11:25) Even when these people had not yet died, they were already miserable, just like the rich man in Luke 16, but they only found out about that after they died! And also to all the spirits of people in Hades, who died in their sins before the birth of the Lord Jesus, and also to those from the time of Noah, to all of them the Lord Jesus preached His everlasting Gospel according to 1Peter 3:18. Even in Hades Christ preached what He has always preached: 'Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.' (Matt 11:28 KJV) Those people who then heard and accepted Him as the Holy God, were freed by the Lord Jesus Christ as "captives of war" from the realm of the dead, and carried along on high. (Eph. 4:8)
  3. Based on the teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ and His apostles, I am afraid I cannot agree with your statement. I will give you Bible verses that clearly show that the Gospel of God was preached to the dead. The Lord Jesus Christ said: 'Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.' (Joh 5:25 KJV ) And his apostel Paul wrote: Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. (Efe 5:14 KJV)
  4. To your desire to divide God, I place the words spoken by the Lord Jesus Christ: 'I and my Father are ONE.' (John 10:30)
  5. I read this sentence, and I read it again. Then I read what the apostle John wrote in 1 John 4:3. And then I don't have to say anything. 1Jn 4:3 KJV And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
  6. You claim all kinds of nonsense that is not in the Bible! For Adam was "a CREATIVE ACT", but the Lord Jesus Christ is God, the Creator. (read Col.1:16) Please, at least name one Bible text where it says that the Lord Jesus Christ was CREATED, or else admit that you are mistaken.
  7. Here too you contradict yourself. For the true God is always the same, both in heaven and on earth. The truth is unchangeable, He is always the same, from before all times and to all eternity! 'For I am the LORD, I change not' (Mal.3:6)
  8. I have given you ten Bible texts that literally say that the Lord Jesus Christ is God. You have not been able to refute one of them, but you are already stuck at the first Bible text. You will not be able to refute the other nine Bible texts either, but you may try.
  9. You base yourself on the Trinity and say that God exists in three Persons. But then you say: "It's NOT RIGHT to say that God the Father IS EQUAL TO the Son of God" With that you contradict yourself, your explanation is not correct!
  10. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Septuagint (LXX), which was written by seventy sincere Jewish linguists. These pious Jewish people have translated the Tenach into Greek in all honesty. To indicate the Most High God in Greek, KURIOS has been rightly chosen. (Gr. κυριος)
  11. In my opinion, the only reason for polygamy is lust, sex, desire. And the lust 'of the flesh' is, next to the lust of the eyes and pride, precisely the method of the devil to bring sin into the world! (1 John 2:16) If the argument for polygamy is only to take a few women into the family and take care of them, then that man can also solve that by giving his money to one or two neighbor women.
  12. When the Hebrew Tanakh was translated by Jewish linguists into the Greek language, the Septuagint (or Septuaginta, also referred to as LXX), the Name of God in Exodus 6:3 ( יהוה ) was translated with κυριος (Gr. Kurios). It is very special that in the New Testament of the Bible our God is nowhere indicated with JHWH, Yaweh, Jehovah, or יהוה. That is because Christ is God and He, according to the LXX, is always indicated with Kurios. And we know the Name of CHRIST the KURIOS: JESUS!
  13. I wrote this topic because of the words spoken by the angel of the Lord in Luke 2:11. Through that messenger of God, it became clear to me how important it is to emphasize that CHRIST is the true GOD HIMSELF. The angel calls Him "Savior", which is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:11 KJV For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. "CHRIST THE LORD" Please look with me at what the Strong's concordance indicates at "THE LORD" (G2962), pay special attention to what is stated at point "C". G2962 Original: κύριος Transliteration: kurios Phonetic: koo'-ree-os Thayer Definition: 1. he to whom a person or thing belongs, about which he has power of deciding; master, lord A. the possessor and disposer of a thing -1. the owner; one who has control of the person, the master -2. in the state: the sovereign, prince, chief, the Roman emperor B. is a title of honor expressive of respect and reverence, with which servants greet their master C. this title is given to: God, the Messiah (so far) CHRIST IS THE LORD, HE IS ONE. (Deut.6:4) Whoever sees Christ sees God (John 14:9), and whoever wants to see God will have to focus his eye on the Lord Jesus Christ. (Ps.123:1, Heb.12:2) Whoever seeks God and wants to approach Him, will end up in Jesus Christ, God is not anywhere else! Brothers and sisters, I wish you a nice day and God's blessing! Frits
  14. Jes 43:15 KJV I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King. Psa 5:2 KJV Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. Amen!
  15. The Bible teaches something different, namely this: Heb 13:8 KJV Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Amen.
  16. Here too you deny the Holy Bible and try to twist it, very bad! I have given you 10 Bible texts that literally state that the Lord Jesus Christ is God. Even if you continue to deny that He is the true God, then God's Word remains valid, and sooner or later your tongue will also have to confess: the Lord Jesus Christ is God! Kol 2:9 KJV For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
  17. Alas, once again you do not write the truth. Philippians 2 verse 10 on the other hand clearly teaches NOT only on earth: Fil 2:10 KJV "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth" And in verse 11 this is emphasized again: Fil 2:11 KJV "And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Phil 2 verse 10 refers to Isaiah 45:23, where the Most High declared through the prophet: 'I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.'
  18. The Lord Jesus Christ is the true God, and as such He is also identified. Hebr 1:8 KJV But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
  19. So the Word is God Himself, but you think you can limit Him! Do you see to what great folly your human reasoning leads?
  20. "No man hath seen God at any time" makes no distinction between God and Jesus, on the contrary, for until the Lord Jesus Christ was born, no man had seen Him. But to His disciples the Lord Jesus Christ revealed the following: 'Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?' (Joh 14:9 KJV)
  21. "Contemporary manuscripts" do not exist, but contemporary criticism of God's Word does! A very well-known phenomenon that already arose in the time of the apostles, to distort the truth of the Holy Scripture! (2 Pet. 3:16)
  22. First of all, the content of the Holy Bible is not a problem at all for those who love the truth. So even the oldest sources of the Gospel of John, Papyrus 66 and Papyrus 75, are not a problem, since they date from long before the first pontificate. But very big problems arise with the Holy Bible, for those people who deny that the Lord Jesus Christ is the true God! Among them belonged most of the Jewish religious leaders who rejected the Lord Jesus Christ as God to their own destruction, as all later unitarians such as the Jehovah's Witnesses also do. I therefore think it is a very bad thing @Retrobyter, that you suspect and question the text of John 1:18! I have given you 5 texts from John, and already at the text from chapter 1 you lose track! Then I gave you 5 other Bible verses that literally state 'the Lord Jesus Christ is God'. You may also explain these, not with unfounded insinuations, but only if you want to explain Scripture with Scripture. I have given you 10 verses from your Holy Bible that literally say 'the Lord Jesus Christ is God' and you may accept those Bible verses as the common basis for our discussion.
  23. Alpha and Omega ‘I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, says the Lord, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.’ (Rev. 1:8) That the Lord Jesus Christ is the true God and eternal life, provokes much resistance in the discussion among unitarians such as the Jehovah’s Witnesses. But that He is the true God does not depend at all on what people think or write about Him, what is decisive is what the Holy Scripture says about the Lord Jesus. In difficult subjects it is repeatedly shown that we are wise to base ourselves as much as possible on what is actually written in Scripture. In other words, let Scripture itself explain Scripture, because it is still superior to our personal opinion. In the quoted Bible verse from Revelation 1, it is ‘the Lord’ Himself Who says: ‘I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End’. He is the Almighty God, Who is, and Who was, and Who is to come. This one sentence from Scripture contains much important information for us: 1. He is the Almighty. 2. He Himself speaks to us. 3. He says: ‘I am the Alpha and the Omega’. 4. He is identified with ‘Who is’, and Who was, and Who is to come. (Ego Eimi) But who is the Almighty, and what is His Name? In order not to answer this question simply according to one’s own preference, but to explain Scripture with Scripture itself, it is sufficient to remain in the book of Revelation. In chapter 22 the Almighty is again speaking and Rev. 1:8 is repeated almost literally by Him: ‘I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End: the First and the Last.’ (Rev.22:13) After all, there can only be one ‘the Alpha and the Omega’, and ‘the Beginning and the End’, and that is the Lord Almighty Himself. The Speaker continues and in verse 16 He gives the irrefutable answer to the question of who the Almighty is: ‘I, Jesus, have sent Mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the Bright and Morning Star.’ (Rev.22:16) According to the book of Revelation, the Lord Jesus Christ is the Almighty God.
  24. Angels are spirits, and the Bible says that God is "the Father of spirits." If the Most High is their Father, then the angels are His sons. (Heb.12:9)
  25. Joh 1:18 KJV No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. The “only begotten God” is found in the oldest manuscripts we have of John: Papyrus 66 (c. 225), Papyrus 75 (c. 225), codex Sinaiticus and codex Vaticanus (both c. 325).
