Can you ask God yes/no answers? For example, if I want to ask God what I should do, I'll open YouTube and say, God if I am meant to do this, this video will play. If I'm not meant to do it then the video will not run? Or I will say "God, have I understood this bible passage correctly? The video playing means yes, the video failing to play means no," Does God answer like this?

I had an intrusive thought where I told the devil that he could have my dog. I began to panic that my dog was going to hell. After reading my bible, I found some scriptures that suggested that a loving god would never let an innocent animal go to Hell and in some scriptures it even suggested that all animals will go to heaven. Then, a day later, I was sat watching a YouTube video when I thought to myself "What if I interpreted those passages wrong" I was watching a long video and only had 3% left on my phone battery so I said "God, if I have interpreted those passages correctly, let me get to the end of the video. If I have interpreted them wrongly, and my dog is going to hell, let my battery die before I get to the end of the video. My phone died before I got the video watched and now I am so scared that my dog is going to hell.

I keep on talking to God in a weird way. I'll do things like get a dice and say things like "God, if I roll an even number, it means that I can continue to watch my favourite film. If I get an odd number, it means that if I watch my favourite film ever again, my parents will get in a car crash. Or I think something like "God, if I recite the alphabet backwards with no mistakes, it means that I can go to that party. If I make mistakes and go to party anyway, it means that something bad is going to happen. Is this God answering or is it just in my head?

So, we know that we can talk and converse with God in our heads, but can we do the same with the devil/demons. The reason why I ask is because I am struggling with intrusive thoughts where I address the devil/demons and ask them to do things and I am just worried that they will hear me. I don't intend to think these things, they just pop into my head. Yes, I know that I need counselling and I am on a waiting list but waiting lists are quite long here in the UK. Can someone please tell me if the devil/demons will be able to hear for my peace of mind?
