We are on a battlefield and most of us don’t even know. The scriptures say the road to destruction is wide, and many shall find it. Look at the world's current state and how war has affected us.
We worship American Idols and anyone famous, which makes them gods apart from God. We profess more love in the television and the shows they produce than we give to our own creator. We worship the creation and not the creator. Praising everything apart from him.
We watch shows that depict things of the Heavens above and things beneath the Earth. Seems like people love movies about God, the Heavens, and Hell. Video games, tv shows, and even artwork. We create engraved images about the things we were warned not to do.
We swear to God about anything and put him in vain conversations making his name empty. This new generation is called by lawd or even Gawd. We promise to God even when we lie. Emptiness of his name is even professed in some church buildings by false prophets who are seeking a quick buck.
Saturday is the last day of the week. However we’ve been taught to worship on Sunday, and we keep no day holy. Now instead of respecting God’s Sabbath, we do almost every kind of lawlessness on Saturday and try to go for forgiveness Sunday.
Respect and honor for parents are drifting away by the generation. In this day and age parents want to be their kids' friends. Instead of spoiling the rod, they spare it. And instead of sparing the child after a whooping, they’re sparing the child from the whooping and spoiling them instead. Now parents find an increase in disrespect, which leads to dishonor. Then parents wonder why their children show them no respect. They haven’t learned it yet, and if they’re your friend, they will treat you like they treat their friends.
Killing!!! The minister laughs. Killing has become more popular than taking a bath. There is no remorse for any life on this planet anymore. We run squirrels and birds over as if it's a game. We kill one another and are killed by our oppressors. The only time we get mad though is when it’s our oppressors and not our own. This in itself is wrong and keeps us down.
Seems like every show on Hellivision depicts adultery and fornication as social norms. We have whole states in our country and around the world dedicated to fornication, adultery, and every sexual wickedness you can think of. It’s promoted in the home, on the hellivision, internet, and everywhere in the world.
Our Government is notorious for being the biggest band of thieves who pillage their own citizens and freed slaves' pockets. Our nation was built by thieves, rapers, and killers. Until this day they still figure out ways to rob us. In the process, we’re shown as a people that the only way to truly become wealthy is to take it. So this iniquity we’re shaped in is now becoming first nature. The sins our Nation allows and permits are the iniquities that we’re shaped in.
I remember as a young man you needed VHS or magazines to look at naked women. I’m not saying it’s a good thing, but what I am saying is the limited access we had has nothing on the limitless access they now have. Every kind of defilement can be found on the internet.
We bear false witness against one another daily. Our government has still yet to remind us that we are the children of Israel. Lawyers, judges, and attorneys help with the effort of bearing false witness against our people. From simple lies to grand jury’s, lying has become the state of the world! Sadly, we do the same against ourselves. This is an everyday thing we do to look better, feel better, or think better about ourselves…
Everything we get we covet because we have so little. Not to mention this is what we’re taught by our government and the people who formed this nation after taking it. Our struggle to obtain pig scraps in this life makes us store up goods. Not in the name of God though. It’s in the name of self and wanting to be like our oppressors.
The reason I brought this up is that I want you to see how we’ve been trained to break every one of the ten commandments, and don’t even realize. As Christians what do you believe?
