Correction. Isaiah Forty-Eight: 16 Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, I was there. And now the Lord God and His Spirit Have sent Me. 17 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go. 18 Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea. -

Yes, while we as believers have significant spiritual authority, it would be an error to attempt to exercise that authority in an area where "angels fear to tread". From Collins Dictionary online: "If you say that someone rushes in where angels fear to tread, you are criticizing them gently because they get themselves into dangerous or difficult situations without thinking carefully enough about what they are doing." -
This one worldly desire, to have a quiet room and a morsel of bread Second Kings Four: 10 Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither. I suppose that I am just being fanciful, but in this chamber I see the Tabernacle of Meeting and the dwelling place of Yeshua. Exodus Thirty-Three: 11 So the Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. And he would return to the camp, but his servant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, did not depart from the tabernacle. Deuteronomy Thirty-One:14 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Behold, the days approach when you must die; call Joshua, and present yourselves in the tabernacle of meeting, that I may inaugurate him.” So Moses and Joshua went and presented themselves in the tabernacle of meeting. 15 Now the Lord appeared at the tabernacle in a pillar of cloud, and the pillar of cloud stood above the door of the tabernacle. 23 Then He inaugurated Joshua the son of Nun, and said, “Be strong and of good courage; for you shall bring the children of Israel into the land of which I swore to them, and I will be with you.” 24 So it was, when Moses had completed writing the words of this law in a book, when they were finished, 25 that Moses commanded the Levites, who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord, saying: 26 Take this Book of the Law, and put it beside the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, that it may be there as a witness against you; The Book of the Law of Moses, which we call Deuteronomy and Judaism refers to as The Devarim was not placed inside the Ark, for it was "added because of transgressions". Only the stone tablets upon which were written the words heard on Sinai were kept within the Ark. The manna and Aaron's rod had been long removed, and never entered Solomon's Temple. First Kings Eight: 6 Then the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the Lord to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the temple, to the Most Holy Place, under the wings of the cherubim. 7 For the cherubim spread their two wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubim overshadowed the ark and its poles. 8 The poles extended so that the ends of the poles could be seen from the holy place, in front of the inner sanctuary; but they could not be seen from outside. And they are there to this day. 9 Nothing was in the ark except the two tablets of stone which Moses put there at Horeb, when the Lord made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt. The author of Hebrews did not want to get into this, and it is dubious to quote the statement found there without understanding. Hebrews Nine: 1 Then indeed, even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service and the earthly sanctuary. 2 For a tabernacle was prepared: the first part, in which was the lampstand, the table, and the showbread, which is called the sanctuary; 3 and behind the second veil, the part of the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of All, 4 which had the golden censer and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were the golden pot that had the manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant; 5 and above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Of these things we cannot now speak in detail. So now you have more details...

Isaiah Sixty-six:1 Thus says the Lord: “Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. Where is the house that you will build Me? And where is the place of My rest? 2 For all those things My hand has made, And all those things exist,” Says the Lord. “But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, And who trembles at My word. The Ark of the Covenant represents the earth realm, and the Tabernacle is the meeting place, where heaven comes to earth. Not in a Temple or Assembly Hall, but in the hearts of the contrite.

Second Corinthians Twelve: 2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago— whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows— such a one was caught up to the third heaven. 3 And I know such a man—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows; 4 how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. When passing through the veil, one experiences spiraling filaments of light which vibrate with "a Voice", the words of which inexpressible, but contain visions and revelations for the fully committed servant of God. These revelations only come in the midst of patient endurance through suffering. The Third Heaven is not a place outside of you, it is an experience, a transition that becomes more and more familiar to those who enter in. 7 And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. 8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. 9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. Ah...a new pleasure principle in Christ, not found in the pew. How very much apostolic doctrine is ignored to avoid this Truth. Second Corinthians One: 5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. 6 Now if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effective for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer. Or if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. 7 And our hope for you is steadfast, because we know that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also you will partake of the consolation. Please excuse me while I pray for your afflictions to come, and your endurance by which you enter the arms of the Comforter.

Exodus Twenty-Nine: 42 This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of meeting before the Lord, where I will meet you to speak with you. 43 And there I will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by My glory. 44 So I will consecrate the tabernacle of meeting and the altar. I will also consecrate both Aaron and his sons to minister to Me as priests. 45 I will dwell among the children of Israel and will be their God. 46 And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who brought them up out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them. I am the Lord their God. There is no longer an earthly tabernacle to draw near, by which a devotee can attend unto the Presence of the Lord. The Cross of Christ has torn the veil of the Tabernacle, but only in the Resurrection to newness of life can the devotee now draw near. Hebrews Six: 11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, 19 This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, 20 where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek. Hebrews Ten: 22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) 35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: 37 For as yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry. 38 Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” 39 But we are not those who draw away to perdition, but of those who believe unto the saving of the soul. As it was with Israel, so has it become in the Ekklesia. Isaiah Twenty-Nine: 13 Therefore the Lord said: Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths And honor Me with their lips, But have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men, 14 Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work Among this people, A marvelous work and a wonder; For the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, And the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.” And so a call has gone out to the nations Isaiah Forty-Five: 20 Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save. 21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the Lord? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. 22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. 23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

The Hebrew word for the number one [ehad-H259] is also used to establish the first in a succession, and a unity of existence and purpose. First Use... Genesis One: 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day. Four verses later, it is used to designate separation and unity. 9 Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so. An important application therefore is the use of 'one' to designate 'first' in the keeping of a Biblical Calendar. Exodus Forty: 1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: 2 On the first day of the first month you shall set up the tabernacle of the tent of meeting. The firstlings required for sacrifices designate the lamb or kid be of "the first year". Leviticus Twenty-Three: 19 Then you shall sacrifice one kid of the goats as a sin offering, and two male lambs of the first year as a sacrifice of a peace offering. Establishing a caveat: Second Samuel Three: 13 And David said, “Good, I will make a covenant with you. But one thing I require of you: you shall not see my face unless you first bring Michal, Saul’s daughter, when you come to see my face. A Simple "you go first"... Kabbalah, Biblical Numerology and the Quagmire of Esoterica
Mr. M replied to Mr. M's topic in Deeper Discourse's Forum
Is there any value to the study of these topics, or are they just an excuse to be puffed up with knowledge, rather than devoted to the edification of the Body of Christ? First Corinthians Eight: 1-3 Now concerning things offered to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. And if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know. But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him. -
AI Overview Kabbalah, a form of Jewish mysticism, is a tradition within Judaism that explores the hidden meanings and spiritual depths of the Torah and the universe. It's characterized by its esoteric teachings, often passed down through oral tradition, and its focus on understanding God's nature and humanity's relationship with the divine. Here's a more detailed breakdown: Key aspects of Kabbalah: Focus on Understanding God: Kabbalah aims to understand the nature of God, exploring His attributes, actions, and the relationship between the divine and the human world. The Sefirot: A central concept in Kabbalah is the Sefirot, which are ten divine attributes or emanations through which God interacts with the world. The Tree of Life: The Sefirot are often visualized in the form of the Tree of Life, a symbolic representation of the universe and God's creation. The Zohar: The foundational text of Kabbalah, the Zohar, is a commentary on the Torah that offers allegorical interpretations and insights into the divine realm. Oral Tradition: Kabbalah is traditionally passed down through a master-apprentice system, emphasizing personal study and guidance. Practical Dimension: Beyond the theoretical, Kabbalah also involves practical aspects like rituals, meditations, and techniques for connecting with the divine and influencing the world. Tikkun Olam: A core Kabbalistic concept is tikkun olam, or "repairing the world," which emphasizes the responsibility to correct imbalances and contribute to a more just and harmonious world. Esoteric Tradition: Kabbalah is considered an esoteric tradition, meaning it's not meant for general public knowledge and was traditionally reserved for those with extensive Torah study. In summary, Kabbalah provides a framework for understanding the deeper spiritual and mystical dimensions of Judaism, offering insights into God's nature, the universe, and humanity's role in the divine plan. In Biblical numerology, numbers are believed to hold symbolic and mystical meanings, similar to the ancient world's view of numbers as significant. While numbers in the Bible can be taken literally, they are also seen as a means to add deeper meaning to the text, Keen states. Key Aspects of Biblical Numerology: Examples: One: Represents God the Father, divine completeness, and primacy. Three: Symbolizes the Holy Trinity, divine wholeness, and perfection. Four: Often associated with the four corners of the earth, the four gospels, or the four directions. Seven: Represents spiritual completeness, the sabbath, and the completed work of God. Ten: Can be associated with the Ten Commandments, God's law, and moral boundaries. Twelve: Represents the twelve tribes of Israel, the twelve apostles, and the completeness of God's people. Forty: Symbolizes a generation, a full period of time, or testing and preparation. Not Divination: It's important to distinguish Biblical numerology from the occult practice of numerology, which is considered divination and is condemned by God, according to JW.ORG. Symbolic Meaning: Numbers are not just quantities but also symbols that can convey spiritual concepts. Divinely Inspired: Numbers in the Bible are seen as divinely inspired and not arbitrary, Keen explains. Important Considerations: Context is Key: The meaning of a number can change depending on the context in which it appears in the Bible. Avoiding Overinterpretation: It's crucial to avoid reading too much into numbers and losing sight of the core message of the Bible, Quora explains. Biblical Principles: The Bible provides principles that guide how we view numbers and other aspects of life, Christian Perspective emphasizes. Romans Fourteen: 13 Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way.

The Adoption: Appointed and Confirmed By Covenant Promise
Mr. M replied to Mr. M's topic in Deeper Discourse's Forum
Colossians One: 24-26 I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church, of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God, the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. 27-29 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily. -
Revelation Two: 10 Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. 11 “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.” First Peter Five: 1 The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed: 2 Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; 3 nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock; 4 and when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.

Psalm One Hundred Eleven: 2 The works of the Lord are great, Studied by all who have pleasure in them. 3 His work is honorable and glorious, And His righteousness endures forever. 4 He has made His wonderful works to be remembered; The Lord is gracious and full of compassion. The Memorial of God's Work in us is our testimony. The Remembrance of our Testimony brings glory to His Name alone. First Peter Four: 12 Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; 13 but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. 14 If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.

Promised Land? Or the Tents of the Fathers.
Mr. M replied to Mr. M's topic in Deeper Discourse's Forum
13 Therefore submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake, whether to the king as supreme, 14 or to governors, as to those who are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of those who do good. 15 For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men; 16 as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God. 17 Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king. -
Ephesians Two: 19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God. Philippians Three: 20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ The Holy Spirit establishes a clear compare and contrast to take the measure of one's standing in the Household of God. A citizen of heaven should show to the world as a pilgrim sojourner. Hebrews Eleven: 12 Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude—innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore. 13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14-16 For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland. And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.

Sacrifices of Atonement Do Not Grant Forgiveness of Sin

Atonement through animal sacrifice brought reconciliation without justification. -
Second Thessalonians Two: 13 But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, 14 to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle. First Thessalonians 1: 2 We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, 3 remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father, 4 knowing, beloved brethren, your election by God. 5 For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake. 1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
-
First Corinthians Two: 9 But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 16 For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

Full Comprehension Of The Love Of Christ In You
Mr. M replied to Mr. M's topic in Deeper Discourse's Forum
First Corinthians Thirteen: 1-3 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 4-6 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love Never Fails -
Ephesians Four: 30-32 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. Colossians Three: 12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. 14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

John Ten: 17 “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. 18 No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.” First John Tw0: 24 Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father. 25 And this is the promise that He has promised us—eternal life. First John Five: 11-13 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. 20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. John Seventeen: 3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. You have the power of eternal life, when you lay down your life for the Elect, that you may take it up again in Christ.

John Eleven: 21-24 Now Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died. But even now I know that whatever You ask of God, God will give You.” Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” Martha said to Him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” 25-27 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.” 40 Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?”

Revelation Twenty-One: 22 But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. 24 And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. 25 Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there). 26 And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it. The Glory of the Lamb is "the greater glory", such that all who are denied access to the city abide in "outer darkness". 27 But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

While the Lord is glaringly missing from the narrative of Esther, some see in the golden sceptre of the king representing God's Favor as "a Sceptre of Righteousness". Esther Four: 11 All the king’s servants and the people of the king’s provinces know that any man or woman who goes into the inner court to the king, who has not been called, he has but one law: put all to death, except the one to whom the king holds out the golden scepter, that he may live. Yet I myself have not been called to go in to the king these thirty days. Five: 2 So it was, when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, that she found favor in his sight, and the king held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand. Then Esther went near and touched the top of the scepter. Thoughts?
