I really appreciate the prayers, the encouragement, the reminders and the suggestions. I had let the pain and stress of my circumstances cloud my vision and make me turn away from God. I truly needed some guidance in order to find my way out of the darkness I was floundering in. I know my struggles are not over, but, thanks to the help of each of you, I am finding my way back - I know He has been waiting patiently for me. Bless you all.

I don't know a great deal about ECT but I do know a lady from our church who has received it. She was severely depressed and nothing had worked - none of the standard treatments or drugs. She was beyond being desperate. She went for the treatments and they have helped her immensely. She does have to go back every now and then for repeat treatments. The only negative she has found is a very temporary loss of short term memory. Hope this helps!
