The Holy Spirit lives in our spirit.. TEMPLE of the Holy Spirit WE ARE A THREE PART BEING..... SPIRIT, SOULISH (MIND WILL EMOTIONS) PHYSICAL BODY Our mind will and emotions and physical body ARE the enemies target. They (demons) can't DWELL in our spirit man WHERE the Holy Spirit resides.. (unless we turn away and qiut being led of the Holy Spirit, then He will depart) CHOICE

I have found this to be UN true. We christians want to split hairs when it comes to the demonic realm. Christians can & DO have demons. It is not a matter of salvatio, deliverance is our BREAD and we have told Jesus "no thank you". Chrisitians NEED deliverance... they just refuse what has been paid for.. Wait a sec. The poster made a good point I think...If a Christian is indwelt with the Holy Spirit, why in the world would he share that space with a demon? Weren't we warned that if someone has demons driven from them, to then be filled with the Holy Ghost because they would come back with "seven others who were more wicked than the original spirit was?" I post this quiet regular because it seems to be the question of the day.. It is the very lie the enemy has used for centuries to contaminate the church.. That is what most Christians believe. What we don't take into consideration is man is a three part being... 1.) spirit-which the Holy Spirit comes and reside in when we accept Jesus as Lord. The Holy Spirit then leads us in our sanctification process. Which is a process of elimination, get rid of the occupiers. 2.) mind will and emotions-this is what they manipulate and cause to manifest their kingdom. 3.) body-when the person quits/refuses to move forward in their sanctification they will be opening doors for spirits of infimity. These can or will take a believer to an early death. Right now we are in a purging process.. In doing deliverance I have ministered to Spirit filled Christians and cast out a dozen or more at any given time. Any manifestation (action, thought) that does not represent the Kingdom of Jesus is manifesting the other.. Simple, it is still choice. We are to take captive every thought to the knowledge of Christ.. That is not a suggestion. The door points for demons are #1 SIN. unrepented sin will keep them. #2 Unforgiveness.. tormenting demons come in. #3 generational #4 traumas (all the way from childhood) #5 offenses... there is more. Just having made a one time confession of faith does not complete the job. It is a process.. for life. Having "demons" does not mean you are not SAVED. Don't confuse them...

You know at one time I really thought the medical community DID know what was going on. The tampering and adjusting of the chemicals in the mind to MAKE someone feel better about themselves without addressing the emotional issue is WAY out of line.. WHy don't you read the first post that had the article about what these MIND altering drugs are doing... How about learn what these "exorcists" "deliverance ministers are doing... how about check their fruit before you send people out for a life of a label of mental illness. I am just waisting on the lord for perfect timing , I will wait for scriptures. Normally I use a team You guys are by team... thanks Break the curse of incest, illegitimacy, and teach her how to take her dad to the cross and forgive him.. That would be the area I would suggest. She's afraid of being triggered...so thats another couple of things there as well. thank-you patricia I thought we addressing someone who wanted healed of female problems?? ANd she wanted to concieve?? You have went WAY off that topic.. What might I ask is the drug addiction and what are your resourses to help her?? Sis, when I got sick and I had known the power of God in my life and as I went through the prayer lines and went back sick I found myself at a cross roads. I had to find out WHY I wasn't gettin healed... lot of prayer fasting and being mad at the Lord before He finally answered me. Believe me it was not what I wanted to hear.. He told me I had some stuff (issues, offences, unforgivness) in the way. WHO ME??? Missionary to the women in prisons??? YEP.. showed me where it was too... Now I have been healed and I know when I start buying into old negative habits and behaviors I open the door for the yuckie puckies to lay it on me.. It is a choice.. God is good... He is the same... THe Hunter's books are good teaching for healing also.. not too much on addressing the root issues like Henry Wrights though. He teaches responsibility that we have failed to take and we are suffering the consequences and asking God to heal us in our sin.. Got the book been to one of Henry Wright conference... got delivered from a BIG spiri of rejection... oops. Told on myself...lol. Anyways I have not been the same. I use combined teaching of both.. Itinerating I will use the Hunters methods. One on one is in depth areas of ministry and deliverance... God always shows up... if they are they of their own free will... I have had people receive healing from hearing loss to hep c. Depression to Diabetes.. One lady had many healings.. took out both hearing aide, depression, diabetes, and back pain.. Jesus did have a method.. He states it in Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, Might I suggest emotional healing by submitting the traumas and issues to the Lord. It sounds simple enough but in reality most Christians really have no concept of how to receive healing for our emotional traumas or woundedness. Often when I minister to those on medication for depression one of the first things I ask if there is any unforgivenss against someone. No matter how justifiable your issues may seem to you when we accept the offer of forgivness from Jesus for our sins yet fail to apply that same grace to others who have hurt us we have an open door for tormentors.. (guess who they are?) Our thoughts have a large impact on our chemical balance.. Address the root issues and the balance can be restored. It has been very effective in ministering to those who want to be delivered. Blessings, Karen

Can a Christian have a demon??? yes... REMEMBER we are not bringing salvation in to question here... Fears, worries, depression, anger, addictive behaviors, envy, jealousy...etc (get the picture?) 3.) physical body-when the person quits/refuses to move forward in their sanctification they will be opening doors for the spirits of infirmity. And also can be generational.. I am addressing the 70% of all sickness and disease that is our responsibility... the others I am not addressing here... Stick with this area if you don't mind.. Everyone seems to think deliverance ministry is all about just casting out demons.. A real deliverance ministry will include addressing sin issues, generational curses, emotional issues, unforgivness and then move into the demon casting out and followed by PHYSICAL healing. This is what has been missing in the church. We think it was all done at the one time altar where we accepted Jesus as Savior. That was only the beginning.. Our DELIVERANCE is through our sanctification process and addressing our bones in the closet. We say the to people who have accepted Jesus, "if the devil brings up your past you just tell him where to go". Not realizing it is the work of the Holy Spirit to bring TRUTH to all our wounded places and failed areas if we let HIM. Instead we tell people to blank it out... That is what I used drugs to do, escape my past. Jesus helps us confront our past and apply the healing to all the broken areas... THAT IS WHAT JESUS WOULD DO! This type of ministry was what Jesus was referring to in Luke 4:18.

Not agreeing or disagreeing with you, simply making a couple of points. It can in no way be shown in scripture that Paul's thorn in the flesh was physical sickness. The Greek text plainly says that his thorn was an angel of Satan sent to buffett his ministry. The physical ailments suffered by Paul were all due to beatings, roddings, etc that he suffered at the hands of men. The Demon was attacking his ministry, there is ample evidence to support that. The demon was even driving men to attack Paul, but the demon was not directly causing Paul to be sick. There is not scriptural evidence that can be presented to say the thorn was physical sickness. To contend that Paul's thorn in the Flesh was sickness is merely adding 2 and two and arriving at 5. The text is plain on the issue of the thorn. The text plainly states that the thorn was a messenger/angel (words in Greek are interchangable) of Satan. Job's trials were pre-cavalry. They were even pre-old covenant. Job did not have the covenant authority given him that we as new covenant believers have been given.

Sorry, my question was lost in the mess. My question is how do you say, "There is no mental illness where the church ministers deliverance" and then say you do go to church... so to say. ?? How do we minister to those who have bought into the deception when we have separated ourselves from making a difference?? When I am not doing a service and I have to 'go' to church (local believing body/building/gathering), even when I recoil at some of the deadness and bondage. I still am required by the Lord to speak life into those the Lord sends me one at time.. I pray for the Pastor to move into the higher calling.. apply Grace to the things that don't quiet add up. I am expecting the Lord to move on the body of Christ and bring about the brokeness it takes to see the latter rain harvest. Church needs healing first before we will be able to bring in those who are broken and beat down.. We need a revelation of what "sin" truly is. God's perspective on it.. There is an awakening... it is getting back to the basics. I choose to minister inside and out.. Sure, I get a lot of rejection for my stand.. I have learned to leave those up to the Lord. AMEN!! Where do you go to Church!! Blessings, Karen I very seldom go to "Church." I will go to a church when called to minister at it. However If not ministering, I usually do not go. I enjoy meeting with groups of on fire belivers in our homes. Some would call them "home churhces." I really do not refer to them as that. The word tells us to not forsake the gathering together of the brethren. However, it does not say "go hang out under the steeple and play social club." Too many churches are social clubs. Too many members are merely hanging out under the steeple with their friends. The fruits of both the churches and the individual believers bear witness to this.

We do not have mental illness in Churches who believe in casting out devils. and openly use the rite. Shalom, Not true. Blanket generalization. Warning Will Robinson!! -let us not call removing a demon exorcism...I really hate the use of that word. Mental illness is ever present worlwide. and alot of people in the hospital here are christians as well. Many years ago when dungeons and dragons were being played the institutions were overwhelmeded with nonchristians who had tried to commit suicide, kill another because their ----was killed off. If we did a psychological profile on all those who God had called more than half would have been on medication today accordding to our standards and most half of the apostles we would not allow to work in the church for one reason or another!!! I can only talk from what I know, so here goes. Woman do go nutty that one time of the month...noot all women. Some are only given meds at that time. Menopausal woman as well. Post birthing mothers. what makes one worse than the other? You can say it is demons...genetic...chemical or i love this one 'Lack of faith' ! Either way First a good physical is always initiated. Diabetes cause mood swings, thyroid problems. pituitary problems, Brain cysts, nervous system infections and other infections not to mention allergies to wheat, milk and other things. Then you have lack of vitamins. Lack of vitamin 'd' these days because people use sunblock can cause pain tru-out the bone and muscular system. It happened to me. I have seen two older men come into the hospital acting pleasantly drunk who never had a drop of alcohol, their potassium was very low...So if you have a head ache take some motrin do not blame it on a demon. Once deliverance is set into motion especially in a psych unit the others become scared and aware,the demons that is. I have been called to fu home to do deliverance of all places...with success in mostly invovled the saved children of a herion ,prostitute who gave her life to the Lord 6 mos befor dying...The children more or less were vexed from outside and their own thoughts were given the enemy ability to torment them... There were four in particular and they were being taken care of by thier moms nonbelieveing sister who could not help them. They are alrigh now but they needed to forgive thier mom...Spirit of rejection to be removed and for Jesus to come in and take over those area with healing in thier wings...This had to be done at the time...They were six hours in driving time and i and another could not say when we will be able to return. But Jesus had it all handle. Christians are sometimes unaware of this ministry and many do not want to even bother with it. Many Believe it all happens at one time, it doesn't. It all happens in layers. My teacher was all by herself when she traveled the world for many did not belive in this ministry and still today i get persecuted for it I ignore the ignorant. But the person I learned under and I still need to learn from at times has been doing this for 60 yrs. That is before I was born!!! Ther is many types but there is one I heard of I do not like... but because I do not like it does not mean it is wrong and that is the one where people are categorized into sanquine personality and others. That teaching came originally came from Carl Jung but God use all things..
