I'm curious as to where the Bible says one cannot have these things and still be healed. I'm not doubting; I just want to know, as this subject confuses me a little bit.
A good example is in the OT in Exodus..
Exd 15:26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes,
I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I [am] the LORD that healeth thee.
Deut 28 explains blessings and curses.. James 2:8-12 goes on to explain how we bring ourselves out from under GRACE by breaking the law..(it is a heart condition that James is exposing here). Unrepentant law breaking has repercussions...ie, curses. Something as simple as showing favoritism.. The point being made is that Grace is not cheap... it has power when we use it to overcome the negative impact of the world. It gives us power to put off the works of the flesh that open doors for satans kingdom to afflict us through our mind, will and emotions.
The general belief that the devil can't effect christians is only true about thosse who truly are listening and obeying the Word of God..
Disease is according to the Bible brought on by not listening to and obeying the Lord.. It opens the door to curses which are acted out by demons.
It is a known medical fact that 70% (+) of ALL disease has a stress/fear root. What does the Word of God say about fear and worry?? So basically MOST sickness has been because WE have opened the door..
We just don't teach consequeses for excessive behavior and physically and MENTALLY we are reaping a harvest of sickness and disease.
I would suggest that you pick up a book by Derek Prince, "They shall expell demons". It is one of the best (sound) teachings on the spiritual realm you will find. He also has a book "Blessings and curses".

YES.. I do believe that God is still doing the miraculous.. It happens where God can show up.
We don't need God here in America.. we have Doctors, Councelors, and all the comforts to make us Feel better..
Therefore we only see small miracles... if any.
Sad..
I have been witness to miracles and healings and deliverances..
We should be seeing more miracles, if we really sold out to serving the Lord and not being merely "comfortably religious".
Amen, and in Brazil the same thing is happening. My pastor has been on several mission trips there and he personally met with a lady who's husband died from a stroke. He was proclaimed dead by the doctor who came to her house. Her family said that she had been praying over her husband's body for eleven hours.
She told my pastor that she prayed another time at the end and life was restored to his body. He asked what she had done different during the last prayer...she said an inner voice told her to rebuke the spirit of death and so she began rebuking the spirit of death and life was restored. My pastor met with her husband, because of the stroke she had to teach him all over just like a child on how to eat, walk and so forth...he still couldn't speak.
My pastor was preaching there in the town and both the lady and husband came, the interpreter told the husband that by the end of the sermon he would speak again. My pastor said we he was done the husband came forward and gave his testimony...he was speaking clearly again.
My pastor said that was just one case and the missionary he works with there said it wasn't uncommon and happens quite often.
Praise the Lord!! I do believe that the American better get ready for the move of the Holy Spirit. As I have been involved in emotional healing and deliverance I have seen the miracle manifestations are being increased.
Outside the body of Christ the miracles are to bring those onto salvationa nd expose them to the Holy Spirits sanctifying power to keep them clean and in health.
Those INSIDE the Church need emotional healing from their issues reguarding the un dealt with offences and life traumas that we have told them to sweep under the carpet and remember no more. It is those UNDEALT with offences and traumas that have power and are open doors for spirits of infirmities and emotional issues.
Until the body starts receiving the healing (of the mind will and emotions, and then to the physical body) they are unable to be effective in the Commission of Mark 16:16-20.
Antways, I have seen the ministry developing to reach those inside the church and it manifesting with power and healing and setting the captives free!! ISA 61 the message is a 4 part mesage and we try to go from the good news to being healed with out dealing with the brokenhearted or dealing with the demonic in opperation in the lives of believers.

Until they hear the truth and address thier issues they will stay sick..
Inside the church IS a different minisrty of the Holy Spirit than to those OUTSIDE. Inside we fall underneath the the word that all the promises of God are attached to IF You keep my commandments...

I found it very interesting...... I hope it is not considered a conspiracy thing by folks here, it is some really interesting end time prophesy information.
As far as I know it is definatly not conspiracy but prophecy. As Jesus made a point that what was going on in Noah'a time would happen again right before His coming...

From what I get from this is they were not just having a beer bust... amen??
There was something so horrible that it cause God to wipe out the entire earth, except Noah and his family..I know you have probably done research in this area about as much as me.. It facinates me how the Church has watered down certain parts of the Bible to make it more palatable...

The Apocryphal books of Enoch, 2 Esdras, Genesis Aprocryphon and Jasher support the Genesis story, adding that the sin of the angels grew to include genetic modification of animals as well as humans. The Book of Jasher, mentioned in the Bible in Joshua 10:13 and 2 Samuel 1:18, says, "After the fallen angels went into the daughters of men, the sons of men taught the mixture of animals of one species with the other, in order to provoke the Lord"(4:18). This clear reference to the Genesis 6 record illustrates that "animals" were included in whatever cross-species experiments were being conducted, and that this activity resulted in judgment from God. The Book of Enoch also supports this record, saying that after the fallen angels merged their DNA with women, they "began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish" (7:5,6). The Old Testament contains associated reference to genetic mutations, which developed among humans following this activity, including unusual size, physical strength, six fingers, six toes, animal appetite for blood and even lion-like features among men (2 Sam 21:20; 23:20).

He goes into great details about the end time prophesies, paralleling other prophet's in the Bible,
including where evil spirits are bound.
1 And Uriel said to me: 'Here shall stand the angels who have connected themselves with women, and their spirits assuming many different forms are defiling mankind and shall lead them astray into sacrificing to demons as gods, (here shall they stand,) till the day of the great judgement in 2 which they shall be judged till they are made an end of. And the women also of the angels who 3 went astray shall become sirens.' And I, Enoch, alone saw the vision, the ends of all things: and no man shall see as I have seen.
Chapter 21
1,2 And I proceeded to where things were chaotic. And I saw there something horrible: I saw neither 3 a heaven above nor a firmly founded earth, but a place chaotic and horrible. And there I saw 4 seven stars of the heaven bound together in it, like great mountains and burning with fire. Yes.. I have read it all. The reason for my interest in this area is because of my testimony of where the Lord delivered me from. You see at one time I was a very messed up person. I was strung out on drugs and hearing voices and seeing demonic manifestations ALL the time. Some of the ones that wouldn't leave me alone just happen to be STARS that followed me every where I went. Even as an unbeliever I knew that what I was seeing had something to do with God.. whom I didn't know.
When I tried to tell people (straight folks)about what I was seeing they tried to explain it away as hallucinations. I knew better. The things I was being followed by brought extreme fear and torment. I didn't believe in aliens either.. But one day my sister, (not a believer) brought me a book about NEPHILIM... talk about making my skin crawl.... I knew I had been in connection with another realm, but didn't know squat about God or demons or fallen angels.
The short of it, I have seen the watchers... The way to get to that place is through drugs and even prescription drugs are doing the same thing today... ie.. voices.
So as the Word says, "as in the days of Noah so shall it be for the coming of the Son of Man..

Enoch gives us an understanding of WHERE the little demons came from. 2 Peter 2:4-5 and Jude 6 expalin WHERE the fallen angels are being held until the apointed time...

The male suiters are very sly and cunning into getting them to believe the harmlessness of a relationship with them. After they get them to marry them then their true colors come out.
It is an out right assigment against the Christian community.
We need to address this issue..

While Pentecostals (not to tar them all with the same brush) did believe, or at least have it stated in their doctrine of beliefs, that Tongues was the evidence of the Holy Spirit, it's been changed now to it just being an evidence of the Holy Spirit.
Because really, any of the Gifts should be evidence of the Holy Spirit, not just one single gift.
Not exactly. Assembly has always stated that
1. Holy Spirit comes to live in the believer upon initial salvation at confession as Jesus as Lord and Savior.
2. Baptized with the Holy Spirit WITH the power is with evidence of speaking in tongues.

THE TRIUMPHAL ENTRY
This Sunday we will celebrate Palm Sunday, the Sunday before Easter. This event, also known as "the Triumphal Entry," involves one of the most astonishing passages in the entire Bible. The book of Daniel, which was written centuries before the birth of Christ, predicts the exact day that Jesus would make his triumphal entry into Jerusalem.
The story behind Palm Sunday begins, not in Jerusalem in the time of Christ, but in Babylon several hundred years earlier. The prophet Daniel, who was among the Jews who were taken captive by the Babylonians, was reading in the Book of Jeremiah. He understood that the seventy years of servitude were almost over and he began to pray for his people. The Angel Gabriel interrupted Daniel's prayer and gave him a four-verse prophecy that is unquestionably the most remarkable passage in the entire Bible: Daniel 9:24-27.
The Meshiach Nagid
The first verse of the prophecy, Daniel 9:24 says: "Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy Place."
This verse is essentially an overview of the entire prophecy. The idiom of a "week" of years was common in Israel. The prophecy encompasses seventy weeks, that is, seventy times seven years, or 490 years. However verse 26 indicates that there is an interval between the 69th and 70th weeks.
A very specific prediction occurs in the next verse: "Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times (Daniel 9:25)."
This includes a mathematical prophecy. The Jewish (and Babylonian) calendars used a 360-day year; 69 weeks of 360-day years totals 173,880 days. In effect, Gabriel told Daniel that the interval between the commandment to rebuild Jerusalem until the presentation of the Messiah as King would be 173,880 days. The "Messiah the Prince" in the King James translation is actually the Meshiach Nagid, or "The Messiah the King."
The Countdown Begins
The commandment to restore and build Jerusalem was given by Artaxerxes Longimanus on March 14, 445 BC. (The emphasis in the verse on "the street" and "the wall" was to avoid confusion with other earlier mandates confined to rebuilding the Temple.)
But when did the Messiah present Himself as a King? During the ministry of Jesus Christ there were several occasions in which the people attempted to promote Him as king, but He carefully avoided it, saying "Mine hour is not yet come."
Then one day He meticulously arranges it. On this particular day he rode into the city of Jerusalem riding on a donkey, deliberately fulfilling a prophecy by Zechariah that the Messiah would present Himself as king in just that way: "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass (Zechariah 9:9)."
Whenever we might easily miss the significance of what was going on, the Pharisees come to our rescue. They felt that the overzealous crowd was blaspheming, proclaiming Jesus as the Messiah the King. However, Jesus responded by saying "I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out (Luke 19:40)."
This is the only occasion that Jesus presented Himself as King. It occurred on April 6, 32 AD. When we examine the period between March 14, 445 BC and April 6, 32 AD, and correct for leap years, we discover that it is 173,880 days exactly, to the very day!
It is amazing to realize that Jesus Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem was predicted, to the very day, hundreds of years in advance. Keep this extraordinary miracle in mind on Palm Sunday as we celebrate the coming of the Meshiach Nagid, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Only those who truly walk in their authority are able to exercise this spiritual truth. Too many Christians say this but fail to do it...because they have given the devil a place in their lives and the demons wont go until they close the door...

I am not denying that tongues occurs, but I believe, and Paul would agree, that it is very rare, uncircumstantial, and based on spirit...not the emotion that most tongue-enforcers use to spread their gifts to others.

It sure looks that way.
34. Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
35. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
Oh Sheesh! We aren't talking about church behaviour! Paul never forbade the use of the gifts..only chatterboxes!!!

Actually, it is combined info I have researched and applied it in ministry along with emotional healing and deliverance.
I have witnessed healings along with deliverance thru these methods.
Another book about spritual roots of disease is a book by Pastor Henry Wright, "A more excellent way".
