You can disagree with me if you like, but I believe the best way to learn God's Word is by listening to it being read by someone else on a tape player. Your eyes get tired after a short while. Your ears can listen all day and night without getting tired. Go to Scourby.com and order the bible on tape or buy it at a christian book store. I believe the King James version is the most accurate version. Get a small tape player that runs on AA batteries. Get rechargeable batteries. And you can cover the whole New Testament in a few days. The Whole Old Testament in maybe a month. And you can do it over and over again many times. Hearing it fast like that, you get a better understanding of what is being said in the context of the other scriptures. It helps to understand it correctly. Reading it is too slow, compared to listening to it. I think that initially our actions often speak much louder than any words. I have heard pople bringing up many excuses fot not testifying .People who are too shy cant' do this job. "I tell you, whoever acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man will also acknowledge him before the angels of God. 9But he who disowns me before men will be disowned before the angels of God. "12;9

Is it guilty not to tell about the Lord and his salvation to others?The Bible tells in different places to make known his salvation day by day.Lord Jesus also commanded to testify.They were made witnesses of Jesus.How the LORD will take it into account if you don't do this?

"I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil." Psalm;119;162 The Psalmist sounds like one who really knew the value of the word of God. Here the Psalmists is rejoicing at His word.When people were going after money and power and all that the Psalmist was truly after the scriptures.Now it works and he is rejoicing. He compares the word of God to great spoil.It is amazing to see how people love the word of God ! Praise The Lord !

These are some of the things you will get if you truly serve God.You don't have to spend money on this.You get the most powerful attorney.You cannot hire this attorney for a billion dollars.He doesn't work for money.But his people get this attorney free of charge.He has gotten access to the throne of God.He never loses a case.He never fails.Infact the judge in always in favor of this attorney because God himself appointed him and He always trust him. So his adversary is always a loser. Then comes the mighty hand stretched out as we read in Psalms.Once you see this hand starts working for you you can say,"You make me glad by the works of your hands".Once this mighty warrior awakes no action hero in the hollywood will be able to entertain you any longer. You will be praising God for a long long time.

I think this is what we are supposed to do here on earth.Declaring God's power to the coming generation.That is what we are here for.This is a God given job.The Palmist is prayinig for this."Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come." Psalm;71;18 Doing this will put the fear of the God in the next generation and they will fear the Lord.But "who can utter the mighty acts of the Lord?" The Psalmist says.Only those who wait and trust can do this.Share with me your thoughts about this please.

The authority given to the believers is to trample upon ALL the power of the enemy.And it is given by The Lord Jesus Christ."I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you." Luke;10;19 Who can give such power and authority except our Lord Jesus Christ?-Who received all authority in heaven and on earth.He said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me."Mathew;28 How many believers know how to excercise this authority effectively?How many truly understand what the Lord is talking about here?

It says God will use both the sword and the bow against a person who does not repent. "If he does not relent, he [ Or If a man does not repent, / God ] will sharpen his sword; he will bend and string his bow." Psalm;7;12 Message of repentance is something people should take seriously. We see the message of repentance in the Bible always with warnings-Either to the churches or to the people in general. The Lord started preaching saying ."Repent for the kingodm of God is at hand."Mark.1 Is this really a good news or a warning?

Could a true disciple of Jesus love his or her life as long as they live in this world?Because it is written. "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."Revelation;12;11 And the Lord Jesus said,"He who loves his life will lose it.He who hates his life in this world will save it for eternal life." John;12 Risky people love life ignoring what the Lord said knowing that they could lose it any time.But these people whom we see in the Book of Revelation looks life they don't care for their own lives.

I often think God in his infinite wisdom has created a Holy Spirit firewall around his people.Or how can the Psalmist say,"They swarmed around me like bees,but they died out as quickly as burning thorns."? Psalm;118;12 In Zachariah we read like-"And I myself will be a wall of fire around it,' declares the LORD, 'and I will be its glory within.' Zachariah;2;5 Even before the invention of computers and firewalls for them see how God thought about something like that [at a time when there was nothing called science] for his saints ?Amazing ! Isn't it ? But "The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1 Corinthians;2;14 The Psalmist also say about this- How great are your works, O LORD, how profound your thoughts! The senseless man does not know, fools do not understand, Psalm ; 92;5,6

So the sins Ezekiel spoke about still remain ? " Ezekiel ;6;16 Daniel spoke about 70 weeks "to to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness" Daniel;9;24 But this has not been done because Malachi tell about that Lord Jesus will do that when he comes. "But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner's fire or a launderer's soap."Malachi;3;2

I thought Paul talking about people who are puffed up in the church.

"I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord GOD. I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.' Ezekiel ;34;16 This is about the final phase of the salvation of Israel.But it sounds strange when we read the last part of this verse. This is not about the enemies or aliens but about God's flock.Is it any way relevant to the church?
