  1. I always thought/believed that Noah brought two of every animal (a male and a female) into the Ark with him prior to the Flood. However, I was directed to read Genesis 7:2 which says (the Lord says to Noah): Take with you seven pairs of all clean animals, the male and his mate; and a pair of the animals that are not clean, the male and his mate; and seven pairs of the birds of the air.... Unfortunately I didn't have an answer when asked about this verse nor do I have now. Certainly seven parirs is more than only 2 of each. Any help? Thanks. A Brother In Christ Ripplingh2o
  2. A dozen white lillies...nah, I'd opt for a single yellow rose. The "helped/prayed with me thru this stuff" part is special. Simplicity and sincerity kinda go hand in hand, hence I'd stick with the single yellow rose. A Brother in Christ, Ripplingh2o
  3. Melissa, three immediate thoughts come to mind. First and foremost GOD LOVES YOU more that you could ever know or realize. He knows your anguish and is right by your side. Jesus tells us (very clearly) in Matthew 11:29-30 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." He (Jesus) wants your burden(s), lay them upon Him and lastly He tells us in John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." Your posting can lead to your testimony of God's promise of everlasting salvation through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.   4. I read your post and must say it's challenging (to say the least) where to begin. But through our (your) Lord and Savior Jesus Christ keep your focus on God. Everything earthly is temporary, spend time each and every day in God's Word, Jesus will (ALWAYS) give you peace (of heart and mind), Trust in the Lord with all your heart; lean not on your own understanding. God will give you strength to endure and wisdom to be content with what He provides. Hardship and heartache build strength and perserverance. God's timing isn't always man's timing. Please don't compare your life to others, God doesn't expect you to be just like another person; each one of us are special and unique. The time we spend here on Earth is only but a proving ground for where we will spend all of eternity. Our trails and tribulations are (at times) "tests" to prove our worthiness. Please don't be so concerned with that which is seen, but rather, spend more time and meditation on that which is unseen. For the seen is temporary and will surely fade away. while the unseen is forever. Through Jesus Christ, talk with God daily, His "line" is never busy. Lastly, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable --- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy --- think about such things (Philippians 4:8) and God Bless.
