You may be sanctified by your wife but that does not mean you are saved and will spend your eternity with Him. For that to happen you must accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Unless you do that and repent you will pay for your sins. John 14:6 - I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

At my church home they teach that we should tithe. I know Christians that believe that tithing is just an Old Testament law that was donw away with in the New. Is this so? Or is it still something God commands of you?

Ezekiel 18:20 - The one who sins is the one who dies. The child will not be punished for the parent's sins, and the parent will not be punished for the child's sins. Righteous people will be rewarded for their own goodness, and wicked people will be punished for their own wickedness.

I think my favorite verse would have to be this: Lamentations 3: 21-23 Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
