  1. Reason i asked this is because i was watching a show called "Mysteries of the Bible"which seemed interesting until they said the Bible contradicted itself with the above question..I knew there had to be an explaination as Gods word never contradicts.

  2. Jesus predicted that Israel will someday foolishly receive the Antichrist as their saviour. "I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive"(John 5:43).

I stand corrected the antichrist must be Jewish.

  3. As you all have most likely read there is a Muslim turned christian who is facing the death penalty for doing so.Under Muslim law he is to be executed by beheading for not following Muslim teachings..this reminds me of what revelations says about the saints being beheaded.

  4. Out of all the men i see on Christian Tv..three stand out who's words i question..they are:

Creflo Dollar-90% of what he preaches is giving money to the church. And one day he made fun of people with a condition called hydrocephelaus(water on the brain)which totally disgusted me.When i tried to email him all i got back was an automated email offering books, pendants etc...

Rod Parsely-He dances he jumps around and he sweats like there is no tomorrow! He's 95% showman 5% preacher.

Paula White-Again here is another one.She seems nice and everything but everytime i see her on tv.She's asking for viewers to send in a "pledge of faith"anywhere from 50 to unlimited amount of money and she will send you a gift in the mail..most likely an ink pen with her name on it.

My favorite is John Hagee-He knows the bible and is a really enjoyable preacher who preaches on everything.

  5. Ezekiel 1:16-The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.

Beryllium(a derivative of Beryl)is what we use today on our shuttles to withstand the heat and friction of outer space travel.

Also 2 Kings 2:11 reads-As they walked on conversing, a flaming chariot and flaming horses came between them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind.

    Sounds like spacecraft to me..

Hello and yes it is a fiercesome looking sight for sure that is being described in chapter 1 of Ezekiel flashing lights and eyes all around it. You should really go back and read post #28 of this thread in which I discuss this very subject that is within this passage of Ezekiel. Even address what the wheels are.

You are exactly correct in the color of beryl. And it is what they use on the space shuttles and when most people describe spaceships from outer space they are usually in this color of beryl.

The passage of scripture in 2 Kings 2:11 was a "literal chariot of fire" which had horses attached to it as well. The whole thing was fire both the horses and the chariot itself. An artist who can draw should paint or draw a picture of this site for it is an awesome sight as well but this was a literal chariot of fire within the spirit realm that came to Elijah as it was sent down by God to transport the Lord's servant up from this earth into the presence of God. The chariot of fire came in order to take Elijah the prophet to heaven.

This should not be misconstrued with a space craft from outer space (meaning from aliens or another race of people on another planet, or other intellegent life) but it was sent directly by God himself.

It is also a really great story to just sit down and read. The prophet of Elijah is a very interesting prophet especially in regards to the special relationship he had with God.

God Bless and don't forget to read post #28

    Openly Curious

Chariots of fire could be literally just that...or the best way Ezekiel could decribe the crafts that he seen.

  6. Ezekiel 1:16-The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.

  7. Of course it matters..The possible clothe that wrapped your saviour as he was dead and about to come back to life and defeat Satan matters ALOT!Also of course i will take Jesus over a clothe noone said to worship it lol.But think of it like this ..if the Shroud is real which i believe it is and its has the blood of Jesus the same blood that was and is used to wash away our sins then of course it matters and is the greatest artifact in the history of mankind.

  8. I believe it to be Moses and Elijah based on Matthew 17 when Jesus took Peter,James and John to the mount and was transfigured before them.It was Moses and Elijah who appeared before him.At the transfiguration it was Moses and Elijah who appeared not Elijah and Enoch.Moses died a physical death BUT his body preserved by God as shown in Deuteronomy 34:5,6 and Jude 9.

  9. Isnt Satan called "The lord of the Air"among other things?I feel aliens are real and they do exhist and think they are demonic forces or fallen angels.

  10. But why does it have to be one thing such as the EU?

It seems to me a more likely scenario would be an international confederation, a New World Order, which would include the UN, EU, WTO, IMF, US, NATO. etc, all supporting international corporations and a borderless government. The key will be to bring down any idea of a unique nation-state, to also paint in a bad light anyone who would be considered a patriot for their own country. Look how the idea of "nationalism" is considered somehow a bad word now, kind of evil. So around the globe if anyone says they are sticking up for their unique people in their unique country they are deemed dangerous.

As far as the EU being atheistic or secular indeed that is true. But if we were going to do that sort of analysis we would have to look at our own country. The US, which although often professing Christianity certainly would be considered one of the wicked countries in the world in our private behavior and morality. I mean it stinks, but compare rates of abortion, divorce, murder, theft, drug use, to name only a few between the EU and the US, and we don't fare very well at all. I don't know if that is prophetic in anyway, but it seems to me that the anti-Christ would rise from a very wicked place and make what is bad to be considered good, a total inversion.

But I have no idea about that, except that everyone will love this guy. I think a likely scenario is that he will come across as a sort of global citizen.

The EU has a large amount of member nations and growing. They also have a drawn up constitution that more or less ignores the rights of Christians.
