I have read the whole Harry Potter series and had no problem with it- like IslandRose said. I was slightly ill-at-ease with Twilight but nothing to do with the vampires- I am just not sure this is teenager literature. I work with teenagers aged 11 to 15 and most of them are just too young for that kind of matters. Basically Bella and Edward can't flirt much because Edward is a vampire and going beyond kissing could endanger the girl. So they try to refrain their desire. I would not like my own children (if i had children) to read that kind of things before a certain age.

and Isaiah 7:14 "the virgin shall concieve, and bear a son, ans shall call his name Immanuel." For me the most significant of God's names -it says all. God (the Creator of the Universe, Lord Sovereign, above all things ...) with: wants a relationship with us, wants us to know Him, came to us, stayed with us, lived as we are, was tempted "in every way" like we are, loved us, and still loves us, still cherishes us, still guides us, still supports us, still makes us go forward, consoles us, forgives us, never leaves us. Us - men, sinners, creatures And, as Paul says, if God, the Creator of all things, is with us, then who can be against us? Really, I love the meaning of this name.
