  1. Haha, en espanol es "El Biblia". And I am not meaning just go on there and spam them with Bible verses. I mean go on, make some friends, and when an opportunity comes up, take it. During the first little bit I went on there I always had tons of people talking to me, everyone is great there. And, most of them don't mind talking about their religion, which is usually Catholocism, so you don't even need to really prod or anything!

You don't have to be a good "evangelist" to do God's work here. All you have to do is listen to these people, make friends, be Jesus to them. Just act like yourself, and they will notice. I have had several people come up to me and remark on what a "good person" I was, so I guess that it is a pretty dark place usually. Just go and shine your light, and people will come without being called.

  2. Hello everyone, I would just like to let everyone know of a huge field I have discovered: www.espanglishchat.com

The purpose of this site is to help people learn either english or spanish. A huge bonus to this is that lots of people from latin america are here. This means catholics! And, most catholics there are not saved, and need our help. The worst thing that can happen is you will pick up a lot of spanish and make some friends. If anyone decides to go on, my name is Gringo, say hi and I'll introduce you/say hi back.

There are TONS of unsaved catholics there! I need your help!

  3. I didn't find it that bad... It seemed like a good family movie, albeit not a very well made one... Could you name a specific part you found offensive? Or is it to offensive?

EDIT: I have just remembered the bullies that were obviously gay, but they didn't express it, there was just the one guy who wandered around in a speedo.

  4. Those are good! There is a church on my way to school that always puts out witty slogans on their sign, and my favourite so far is "Exposure to the Son may prevent burning." That church must have a commitee working non stop to get all their slogans...

  5. Thanks for the advice, and sorry for the misunderstanding. My dad is not in any trouble or anything, that was just a dream.

And Dakota, I agree with you, and the parts where he would have had to read my mind happened before I said anything out loud. Although, he could have moved the mailman to work faster today. Then again, it could have been God. I guess we'll find out soon.

  6. Well, yesterday I asked God to confirm it to me. I said, if the mail is in the mailbox before noon, then I will know that it is from You. If it is not, then, it is not. If I don't remember to check then I will know this is not how you want to show me. And, sure enough, I forgot to check.

By the way, the dream is far less likely to be from God, it just frightened me so I threw it out there, but the first thing, it was very clear. And, I don't think I moved at all during it, so Satan couldn't have read my body language or facial expression. Anyway, August 12 creeps closer and closer, we will know by then.

  7. I will take something out of an NIV Text Note. The word "kill" here means to fully devote to God, often by destroying it. It is quite rational to think that this is not from God, however, we must think deeper, into what caused this harsh punishment. The people living in Canaan before Isreal were evil. They committed all kinds of sins, even sacraficing their children, and it angered God. By killing them, they were punished, and also rescued from further sinning. If they were allowed to live, they would poison Isreal, causing them to worship other gods and idols. Since Isreal did not obey God and drive out all the Canaanites, later this did happen to them, leading to the fall of the Northern Kingdom (Isreal) and the exile of Judah.

Also, God is Just, so he will deal fairly with them at Judgement Day. Shortening their lives probobly helped them out on that day.

  8. Thanks everyone for your prompt replies. If the discussion about whether Satan can read our minds or not continues, maybe it should be made into a new thread so that more people see it. (By the way, I say he can't because he is not omnipotent.)

Christ's Free Servant, thanks for the advice, I'm certainly not doing what God wants me to (just sitting around playing the computer) So, even if this is just my imagination or a deception, God turned some good out of it by making me shape up.

  9. Recently I have had two dreams/revelations which I pertain to coming events. I am not sure if they are from God, from the Deciever, or just my imagination.

    1. The first one happened last week, maybe Wednesday. I was just waking up, and it being summer vacation for me I was in no hurry. Suddenly I heard a voice in my head. I cannot remember the exact conversation, but I do remember the general flow. It said: "I have good news and bad news, which do you want first?" I said "Bad." Then it said: "You will not go to Mexico." (I am going there for a missions trip August 12) Then it said: "But, the Rapture will be soon." There are a few problems I have with each supposed source. I will start with why it could not be from Satan: It was in my head, he could not see inside to know my response, which news I wanted first. Now the reason why it might not be from God is kind of pitiful, just that the word Rapture seems like one that Him or a messenger would not use. However, it did not seem odd at the time. Why might it not be just my imagination? It was VERY clear. Much too clear for me at that time of morning. And things keep drawing my attention back to it, so that I remember it.

If I go to Mexico I will know that it is my imagination, or the Devil had a lucky guess. Something will not let me forget about it, however, so I thought it best to throw it out here.

    2. The second one was a dream, probably just a dream, but I woke up praying that it wouldn't happen, so better safe than sorry. In my dream most of it was irrelevent, but I will get to the important part, so bear with me. If you want, jump to the next paragraph. At the beginning, my Mom was putting sunscreen on my Dad, and people were saying things like "ewww" and stuff, because my father in a bathing suit is not something you would go out of your way to see. (He is not bad enough to warrant "ewwws" though IMO.) Then he walked off to a space shuttle. It took off, and we watched it go out of sight. We were then attacked by spaceships from Freelancer (a computer game, here is that irrelevant I was talking about :b: BTW, it was just a strafing run).

We started to walk away, and then heard a large bang, like an explosion, and a large shuttle part landed on a roof beside me. It was at this time I woke up and prayed that this would not happen.

Does anyone know when the next shuttle launch will be? I know there just was one, but have they gotten back yet?

Also, I am young, and I was just wondering the order of a verse. Is it "Your young men will dream dreams, and your old men will have visions" or the other way around? I always get that mixed up.

    Comments would be appreciated.

  10. Yay Ontario! Its actually kind of dirty compared to the rest of Canada, but I live here, so its OK!

You must be speaking of Southern Ontario. Northern Ontario is still loaded with wildlife and excellent fishing. You can still even find the odd stream and lake that you can drink out of. :34: Check out the Lake Superior area some time. You will be pleasantly surprised by how much beauty you can find in Ontario. :24:

Yup! Good old toxic Lake Ontario :) .

  11. Well, I emailed it to Breakaway Magazine (a magazine for teen guys, run by Focus on the Family) and just got their return email. I was hoping they'd publish it, but their reply was unclear. If anyone knows of anyone else I should send it to, that would be great.

  12. Its just like that elephant Denmark thing that I no longer remember!

    1. How many times a week do you want to eat an elephant in Denmark?

    2. Multiply...

    :b:

:) No, it was a math thing like that, where you had to choose a country that starts with the number of the alphabet that the answer was (it was always 4), an animal that starts with the next letter, and the colour of the animal, and the punch line was "there are no grey elephants in Denmark."
