Original post blessed my spirit. The meditating on what Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ suffered-the heart of the gospel to me. 1John 2:2-for the sins of the whole world/kosmos. With all the teachings on the End Times and how much worse toward the End. Consider Jesus on the Cross with what He was suffering getting worse and worse till "It is Finished" and the End of the age. Jesus on the Cross, in my understanding, is/was seeing us and all this. "...to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge..."{Ephesians 3:19} Since we are still not at the End of the Age {???}, then Jesus is still on the Cross in God's "time". At least in one of God's "times"-to me, the New Heaven and Earth already exists in the future. Has anybody seen this DVD? I recently spent several hours viewing the movie and all the Special Features. There is so much truth in this[best as my spirit exhorts], documenting the USA and its interaction militarily with the world from WWII thru the pre-surge actions in Iraq. Have not concluded anything, BUT Revelation 13 and Revelation 13:11 sure seem like a good fit with current events. USA=Revelation 13:11 Beast??? Been thinking this for a number of years and the fit, to me, is getting better as time goes on. Highly recommend DVD and taking the time to really study it {Note: I am 64 years old, my father was a disabled WWII war veteran long since deceased, and President Eisenhower was quite important to me even though I was only 16 years old at the time. Ike's warning in January of 1961 re the USA with its standing military of 3 1/2 million and the dangers of the "military-industrial complex". This movie makes a good case for the "military-industrial-Congressional-think-tank" complex". Our war after war and "secret" efforts all around the globe may just be unstoppable. } To me, movie is awesome and a "must-see". Still pondering what appears to be the surprising degree of truth coming from inside the "miCtt" complex and, if true, what this is telling the viewer . They also have a regular feature of having the various Jewish views on a question[this month's-what do do about bullying?], from the most ultra-Orthodox to the humanist view.

One of my ministry sources gave what I think was an outstanding observation. These "sons of God" of course know what these "days of Noah" would be like because they were there! <yes, assu!mes certain things about these "sons of God", but hopefully this chain has exhausted the harsh back and forth YES THEY WERE NO THEY WEREN'T! posts that were anti-edifying. Because of that I had withdrawn from this chain and and went back to my old methods of studying back before message boards. Days/weeks/months/years study/meditation/prayer. Much input, very little output except private notes. James 1:19-... being led by The Holy Spirit. So different not to have the urge to reply to a post/posts "quickly". Like night and day. To me, in order to really meditate on all this, believe consideration has to be given to false Rapture(s)/false Second Coming(s)/past being future/future being past/etc... Believe there is a general agreement that there will be (has been???) a separation of wheat and tares. May not want to think about this too much, but where/when/what are we exactly? Yes, leads to total darkness contemplating too much. But believe some contemplation is in order to help avoid "know it all/output only" End Time teachings. Perhaps we are in the "little season" of Revelation 20? A fellow student of a good brother in Christ, John [was in the 2nd year of a Bible College back in the early 1980s] mentioned that. "Deceiveth the whole world"-Revelation 12 plus the other very many Scriptures warning about the massive "deception"/"deceiving". Well ive thought about it, and prayed about it. Ive come to the conclusion it is the behavior I should be exibiting in my day to day lifestyle. Its something im struggling with- if it brings me closer to God and was from the devil. God used that devil to bring me to him. Had a couple of chains on this topic a few months ago:discerning if God or not and massive deception going on. 1John 4:1-6 key Scripture, remembering from 1 Corinthians 14 that "God is not the author of confusion, but of peace". "Radio Bible Class" back in the early 1990s had in one of their "Daily Bread" the phrase "hit and run visitors". As I recall, was referring to a horrible thought/mind picture/etc. coming to someone. Lots of times making the person think that they must really be an awful person. 1 John 4:3 spirit. However, had a significant number of experiences with "good thoughts" which 1 John 4:1-6 and other Scriptures{prayer indeed included} showed source. Satan/devil/etc. If "a still, small voice" says "Jesus Christ is Lord" or "God is Love" lots of Christians would think/teach source was "God". Yes, indeed, might very well be "God". 2 Thessalonians 2:4 one.

The assassination of Benazir Bhutto in Pakistan on Thursday December 27, 2007 personally gave me a certain something. In addition to what The Holy Spirit has given to my spirit - a spiritual judgment that The Lord Jesus Christ is bringing this to the End. The world's response to the assassination was that "certain something"- like a response from a dead/dying world. Few days of riots, threats from the filth of al-Qaida, Kenya riots, Hannah Montana and the USA's "Race to '08". The UK's Scotland Yard will look into the assassination... I lived thru the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Anwar Sadat, Yitzhak Rabin [1995]-of course, many more happened. As far as I am concerned, the who/why of just JFK's assassination and the follow on {the mystery of the Zapruder film, the murder of Lee Harvey Oswald by Jack Ruby on TV in the midst of Dallas police,...} is unknown, in spite of all the efforts to get to the "truth".
