  1. When I got engaged, over 43 years ago I told my husband then that he will always be #2 in my life as God is #1. I believe that God should be #1 in every Christians life, especially in marriage. If God is #1 then the rest will fall into place as God foresees it. I know God lives and sent His Son, Jesus to earth to minister and die at Calvary for the sins of the world. I also believe that after Jesus ascended on ascension day shortly thereafter all God's people were filled with the Holy Spirit (God with us).

  2. Kim is in the hospital in Florida with side effects from gastric bi-pass surgery.

She was just diagnosed with ARDS…respiratory failure…mortality rate is 50%.

The doctors have her on meds and heavily sedated…although they say her heart and the nutrients that are needed in the blood are getting better.

Please pray an urgent prayer for healing.

    Thank you, Diane

  3. I have a question. I have a friend that I just reconnected with that is now a member of the Fraternal Order of Masons. I have been reading a lot about how the Masons keep Jesus out of their prayers and lean more to set Him in a lower status that He should be. They have Most Worshipful Masters but they do not call Jesus the MOST Worshipful Masters.

Have any of you had an occasion to witness to a Mason and open their eyes to the reality they entered when they became a Mason? If so, I need guidance as I have also been placed with a calling to try and witness to those that I know that are now Masons.

I have been researching going into google or any search and looking for Former Masons. There are a few Christian sites with information, testimonials etc., but nothing on how to begin a witness to them.

Any help you may provide will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you and God Bless You, Diane (djgoose)

  4. We received a kitten that was abandoned at the age of 3 weeks, her ears weren't even up all the way yet, but her eyes were open. We had to bottle feed her. About 2 weeks after we got her we also got 2 cats that were litter mates. The bottle fed kitten was Buffy and the two litter mates are Jodi and Sissy. Jodi and sissy are now 11 years old and we had to put Buffy down at the age of 7 due to cancer. Buffy was always being picked on by Jodi and Sissy. I had to make sure all the doors were open within the house to keep Jodi and Sissy from cornering Buffy. Actually when they were kitten's Buffy and Sissy would gang up on Jodi but as they got older the litter mates stuck together and would attack Buffy.

I think that some cats personalities just won't let them make up to another cat.

I hope your situation works out for you and the cats.

    God Bless,

    Diane

  5. Please keep in mind that this is an open chat, which means anyone can come in and all are welcome because we are all God's children. We are in chat to talk to our friends as well as to minister to those that enter that do not know Christ as their Lord and Savior. I have been in chat for many years, although most of you probably do not know me because I do not get in as often these days, due to other reasons. In my experience I have noticed as well as other old timers that the devil likes to infect this wonderful Christian community and he does it through these few persons previously mentioned on this post.

Just a suggestion for when you are in chat with one that becomes vulgar, if there is no moderator in at the time. Try your best to minister to them and if after a few attempts you know it is not working place them on ignore and their messages will not be seen by you. Then tell all others on the site to do the same publicly so the person knows their comments will not be seen. This way they learn quickly they we will not put up with such actions and eventually the individual gets the message and will leave. We, some of the old timers, have learned to do this.

I pray this will help you with some of your frustrations. I know it is not a long term solution but as mentioned earlier this is one of the best sights around for Christian chat. The Lord has done marvelous things here and He continues to work Greatly through George, Rivka & Elianna in their ministry through these Worthy sites.

    His Blessings, Diane

  6. AMEN!!

It IS DEFINITELY God!!! Satan would never want you to pray for someone.

God has and still does convict me to pray for people by either seeing a face when I close my eyes, or just having their names or memories of them come to mind in an instant. I know immediately that God wants me to pray for them and I do. God has commanded us to pray without ceasing and it is true that His timing is not our timing.

    God bless you,

    Diane

  7. Catsmeow, you took the words right out of my mouth.

George, you know I am very anxious for you and your family while you are in Jerusalem. I will pray for you and the peace of Israel and thank the Good Lord that He has protected you and yours. God IS Faithful and He will protect you and give you peace.

Chills went up my spine when I read your message and God placed peace in my heart and allowed me to know that you are in His care, of which I never had any doubt. Never forget you are living in HIS will.

Please give Rivka and Eliana a special BIG HUG from me today and tell all I LOVE THEM.

    Love, Peace and His Blessings,

    Diane

  8. The wedding was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and Bill and Emily just glowed with Love overflowing for each other. I did not have a camera at the wedding but bought a one timer for the reception. The church was beautiful. Emily had a lot of Bridesmaids, I think at least 5 and their gowns were dark green. The pastor had a lovely message to share with them, they took their vows and exchanged rings, became one and lit the one candle from two. After that they took communion for the first time as man and wife. The couple duets sung were just lovely. Bill's sister, niece and nephew made it to the wedding. Praise the Lord!!!

The reception was at 5pm and was the best one I have ever been too. No loud outrageous music that you can't even understand the words too. They played Christian music and some group dances like the chicken dance, which they changed to the penguin dance since Emily loves penguins so much. It was cute. They danced the hokie pokie and had a train dance but I forget to what music. Emily and some of the girls sang to Bill with the song, "I'm a WOMAN" which was really funny. The food was delicious with chicken fillets with green beans almondine and quartered seasoned potatoes and wedding cake and ice cream for dessert. I did not get a picture of the wedding cake. I thought I would have more time to get a picture of it but they cut it at the very beginning so it could be served for the dessert. They had sodas, water, tea and coffee to drink. When they cut the cake Emily smashed Bill big time with her piece and Bill was very gentle and kind with her piece. He said he did not want to ruin her dress. He is such a sweet heart. Emily sure did get a good guy and I'm not the least bit prejudice. ROFL ROFL.

Gary and I stayed for quite a while as we stayed overnight at an Inn nearby. When we left we saw Bill's truck and how his friends decorated it. It was funny, I took a picture of it but do not know if it will turn out or not. Someone wrote with shaving cream if this truck is rockin don't come a knockin and they had Kiss on the front window and spelled baby out on the hood. They had it wrapped with paper towels and I think toilet paper. It was really funny. I just hope the picture comes out good.

I think that is about all I can remember at this time. Bill and Emily had a very beautiful beginning to a lifetime of memories. All friends and relatives that were there were all there for the right reasons and I thank the Good Lord for bringing them together.

That is all for now. Take care and God Bless Bill and Emily.

    Love you!!!

    Diane

  10. George and Rivka:

As I was reading these blessings for you I can't help but cry. But then George, you know I do that best. I will miss you desperately but will keep you lifted in my heart, thoughts and prayers. I know that God has tremendous work for you to do in Israel and I know you will follow His call. Please know we will always be with you. Take care of Rivka and Rivka take care of my cyber son. Keep safe both of you and when I know you will be making a trip home, if you will be here long enough I would love to be invited down to see the family. :-)

May God continue to Bless you both Richly and keep you safely in the palm of His Hand.

    With All my LOVE, Diane

  11. Amen Adstar:

I remember at my Grandmother's funeral my nieces and nephew did not want to think about her in the cold ground. I told them, never fear, Grandma is not in the ground she is with the Lord in Heaven! Praise the Lord. They are born and raised Catholic and they have never been told of the resurrection power, yet they believe in the Risen Lord and Savior, how can you believe in Jesus and not believe that we will be with him. I thank God daily that I know I will be with Him in Paradise and look forward to the day.

What is Heaven, it is what we make it in our hearts. I love the clip 2 posts ahead of mine. It truly does place goose bumps all over you. To know the Total, the Whole and not part, but face to face. Oh what Glory that Will Be!! I sometimes close my eyes to imagine how it will feel to have the undying Love, compassionate Love of God surround me and caress me. Just to Imagine the completeness we will feel.

I Love you Lord! Praises and Rejoicing!.

  12. George, when you get the video made I want a copy, I will pay! :-) I was going to ask you anyway if I could buy a copy of the video the photographer was making. I did not get a picture of you and Rivka together and I really want one.

I look forward to more updates on your behind the scenes history of the wedding.

I love you guys and continually pray for you.

In His Love and with His Blessings,

    Diane (Cyber Mom)

  13. Of course I must ad my two cents as George's Cyber Mom, I guess that makes Rivka, my Cyber Daughter-in-law. (smiles)

It was a very beautiful wedding. I was sad through the wedding that the weather could not have been sunny beautiful but discovered after speaking with George after the wedding (George knows me! (smiles)) that God was working big time and for that I must Praise the Lord!. Picture it people. A BEAUTIFUL spot at the point where the Susquehanna River meets the Chesapeake Bay, by the shore at a Lighthouse. Think about that for a minute and what all a lighthouse means in relation to God watching over us and how we must be lighthouses of prayer, etc. and the wedding by the water as Jesus performed many sermons by the water on its banks. George and Rivka come to shore by a sail boat in the mist of the rain and the fog. Look back as if it would have been in the Bible times and visualize the beauty of it. It was wonderful. They both had smiles on from ear to ear they are so much in love and so full of the Love of the Lord that they took the moment and enjoyed all that the Lord had blessed them with. Family and friends to share the moment and laugh "with" them. Everyone was VERY HAPPY to be there because of all the love they shared for this couple.

The wedding party (girls) had candle globes in each hand and as they danced to the altar they would place them along the path for Rivka. When Rivka finally (smiles) danced down the aisle, while the song was playing she also danced around George several times, so much in love they are. ( :-)

When the Rabbi brought them to the tent with the guests for the vowels to be heard and the exchange of rings they all had to speak loud for all to hear. But they did a beautiful job. After George said his vows everyone clapped and cheered, then Rivka said her vows and the same clapping and cheering. Then they exchanged rings and were pronounced man and wife! AMEN!!! More clapping and cheering and then the end of the wedding was announced by the breaking of the glass and shouting Maziltolf! (excuse the spelling) and then blowing of the shofar. (A horn used in biblical times for ceremonies) It was a beautiful end to a beautiful wedding. It will be a wedding that will be remember by all for a very long time. Not because of what went wrong but because of what all did go right and for the joy in George and Rivka's heart for each other, Thanks to our Heavenly Father.

I am blessed that I had the opportunity to attend and will remember the wedding occasion in my heart for a very long time to come. I just wish we would have stayed longer than we did but by best friend, my husband was getting VERY cold since he did not have a coat and I did not want him getting sick so we left.

I pray for you George and Rivka that this will be the very beginning of many many beautiful experiences for you and that God will bless you in all that you do for Him and His Kingdom. I pray that He will lead you, guide and direct you and protect you through the path He has for you to follow. I pray His Peace and Blessings will be with you forever and forever.

With all my Love and His Blessings,

    Diane
