  1. "Is there anything more dangerous to the doctrinal purity of the Church than ecumenicalism? I think not. Just as Israel committed spiritual fornication with heathen nations, so are we committing spiritual fornication with apostate churches. I believe the ecumenical movement is abominable in the sight of God, and true believers will pay the price for it. Get ready for another 1300 years of Babylonian captivity........." I agree, ----- what you say is absolutely true, ---- but true believers will never be paying for it. They will get out of this unity, and they will not be part of it. True Christian unity requires oneness of mind, and this is a very narrow basis of unity. True Christian unity is not "unity in diversity". When the Lord Jesus said "Father, I pray that they may all be one," He spoke of this kind of unity. The finishing of His sentence proves it: ....."as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us.." We know that the Father and the Son always were in perfect unity, and the basis of Their unity is truth.
  2. Yes, if they are in need, then definitely. It is easier if love compelles one to do it, then to try to pay one's debt.
  3. I promised to every one of my pets before they died, that we will meet at the Lord Jesus' feet. The Lord will not let me down in this. God's redeemed children are promised that God "will wipe away every tear from their eyes." My dead pets are such "tears" in my eyes, and so the only way God can wipe my tears away concerning this matter, if my pets will be there too. My concern is; what if I will not remember them? Also, what will happen to those animals, who didn't belong to a saved man? To strengthen myself, I think of the Scripture: "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." (1 Cor. 2:9)

  5. "What is your definition of a "good" Christian.?" A good Christian is one who was born again, and have Christ not only as his Saviour, but also as his Lord. "Can we lose our temper?" Yes, we can be angry if it is a 'holy anger' but the sun mustn't go down on us while we are angry. "Can we stand up for what is right and speak out?" As long as we base it on God's Word. We mustn't take the credit for knowing what is right since we know it from the indwelling Holy Spirit, (this is only if one was born again). "Do we really turn the other cheek to be slapped?" That goes against our fallen nature. It is only possible through the divine nature, if one was born again. "Can we feel unfullfilled in our marriage?" Probably. I think so. "If we divorce, are we bad Christians?" Divorce is not in God's plan. But the Bible gives us a few reasons where divorce is justified. "If we continue to sin out of human nature, are we still saved?" If one was biblically born again, by the miracle of the Holy Spirit he was given the divine nature. But his fallen nature is still alive, and actually it is established, and much stronger then the new nature, which is only a 'baby'. These two natures are in constant fight with each other, and they are irreconcilably deadly enemies of each other. Our will presides over these two natures, and decides which of the natures will he give ascendency. So, the set of the will to follow Christ is imperative for a born again Christian. Unfortunately it happens that sometimes we give ascendency to the fallen nature, but the indwelling Holy Spirit will condemn us right away, and He will be saddened, and the Christian will repent as soon as he realizes the slip. Christ will forgive him, and he will go on happily. The new born Christian has to feed his new nature to make it strong with the Word of God. As our new nature gets stronger, the sinful nature weakens, and the fight becomes less fierce as we go onward. Love your sister, and don't expect anything in return. Love her to the Lord. Whenever you sense some enmity from her side, try to overcome it with love, and be overwhelmingly kind to her. Never take offence. "21Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good." Read 1 Corinthians chapter 13, and that will give you an idea how we should love each other.

    demonic attack

From your experiences you can learn that the devil is real. The Bible warns us that he is a liar and a deceiver, and he wants us all in hell. I would like to give you a little background: --- Our first parents disobeyed God, and as a result the relationship between God and man was broken. They were separated from God, Who is the Source of life, and so, they died spiritually, and God said that physical death will also follow. We know that it does. We all were born far away from God, on the road that leads to hell. Unless we change direction we will arrive to hell. God calls us to return to Him, and be reconciled with God, (so that He could give us eternal life). but we have one big problem: We all inherited the sinful nature of our first parents, and so we are sinners. Sin is like a barricade that separates us from God. On our own we are unable to return to God, since our sins are in the way. God gave us the Law, and if we could keep the Law, we would be able to reach heaven on our own efforts; but we cannot. God's Laws are so demanding, that none of us is able to live the life that would please God, (since we all have this sinful nature, and we love sin). To add to our tragedy, it is also written in the Bible, that the "wages of sin is death.." You can see that this is a death sentence for all of us; we are sinners, and so we are condemned by God to death and hell. We belong to Satan; we have his nature in us, that will take us to hell. Some people claim that they almost can keep the Law, but that cannot help them either, for it is written that if somebody brakes even one point of the Law, he is guilty of breaking it all. So, you can see that we are in great trouble. From this sure hell the Lord Jesus Christ came to our resuce, and here is the deal He offers: If a man wants to turn away from sin, and sincerely repents his sins to the Lord Jesus with a penitent heart, then the Lord Jesus will take his sins away, and will forgive him. The Lord Jesus, the Son of God can do that, since on the cross He paid the penalty of those sins. This is the reason that only Christ can forgive sins. But there is more to it to be saved. The repentant sinner needs to ask Christ to be the Leader of his life, and to come into his heart. But Christ will not share the heart of a man with anybody or anything else; --- everything else must go from there if we want Christ to come in. Christ forgives the sinner, but sin cannot be sneaked into heaven. Sin is of the devil. Christ will be the Saviour of this man, but there is one condition: Christ also wants to be the Lord in the man's life. We cannot have Christ for Saviour, if we don't also take Him as our Lord. Many people ignore this important condition. Then, Christ dresses up the repentant sinner into His own righteousness, and the Holy Spirit regenerates him and in him a new nature is born; the divine nature. This is the mistery of the 'new birth.' This nature makes one to be the child of God. Now this man is reconciled with God, and he takes up his cross, and follows Christ. If he keeps on following, he will arrive to heaven when he dies. The Bible teaches, that without this 'new birth' nobody can get into heaven. I wanted to tell you all these things, so that you would see the depth of the danger you are in while you are not with Christ. Without Christ we all are toys in the hands of the devil. Only Christ can save one, and liberate one from Satan's chains. You went into the devil's territory, and he has a hold on you now, and on your own you cannot get free from the chains of the devil. Only the Lord Jesus can free you. Go to Him with a repentant heart, ask Christ to forgive you and create a new heart in you, and ask Him to be the Lord in your life, and tell Him that you are willing to follow His leadership. Set your will to do so. Don't go to any church, but go to a Bible believeing church, where the Bible is the sole authority. I hope you understand now the terrible predicament people without Christ are in, and that you will act upon this knowledge, and that you will take adventage of the offer of the Lord Jesus Christ; the only One Who can save you from being a toy in the hands of Satan.
