This happened at a revival in the park, where we saw well over 50 people give their lives to Jesus, healed, and set free from demons. This man had a demon that was causing Tourette's and the Lord set him free, praise the Lord!  Now, is all Tourette's demons? I don't know, I just know this man was bound and he sent me a long messages saying how the Lord set him free at that event.

I do know with epilepsy, it can be a medical condition but we also seeing Jesus cast out a demon causing epilepsy out of a boy in Matthew 17

I believe that there is much more demonic activity than people realize, through out the Gospels and book of acts, people were being set free from demons, however, today it is considered a rarity and I've met many people who are bound going church to church to find freedom and the church isn't able to help.  Deliverance was a normal practice of the church and today it is needed more than ever with the rise of the occult, sexual perversity, there are practices being pushed on the youth that open doors to demons.
 

We did an event in Holladay Park, Portland where we set up a tent, brought a bbq and clothes for the homeless and worshiped Jesus. Well over 50 people decided to follow Jesus, many who were tormented by demons were set free,  and the name of Jesus was glorified.

Friday night, we hosted a revival meeting with Daniel Adams on the waterfront in Portland. Mass deliverance broke out, people were throwing their drugs and meth pipes on the alter as they were repenting for their sins in tears, a boy who was parallelized in his leg started to walk. He is moving, praise the Lord!!!

Philippians is such an important book that addresses the heart posture of believers and some of the greatest insights into walking in the peace of God. This is a book that marked my life early on in my walk. We were excited to make an epic bible meditation of this one.

What book would you like to see done like this?

Very nice Joshua,I think the book of Ephesians will be another good book because it does focus on the spiritual warfare we're in until we see Jesus return , I finish listening to it later,thanks!

Ephesians is one I really want to do. We have Philippians recorded and scored and are working on John and Revelation.

This weekend we're going to have an outreach @ Pioneer Square in Portland. Pray for souls to be saved and His power to be present.

I know God can deliver whoever he wants,sometimes those video's can be very unsettling,you know what I mean?

The video isn't as intense as some of the other videos, but praise the Lord he got free. Off camera, he accepted the Lord Jesus as his savior, repented of sins, and came back the next day on fire and a new person.

With filming deliverance, through out the bible, Jesus was very public about deliverance. Through out the book of acts, demons screeched out in a public spectical as the Gospel was preached. I've seen the Lord use these videos to help others find freedom and it testifies of His power over the devil. One lady came to our church and started manifesting a demonic spirit and the root was self hatred. Because of that video, we've had many others visit and find freedom from the same thing.

I believe the videos also create a sobering awareness that the spiritual world isn't just concepts and beliefs but there is a reality. There is a real God who loves people and sets people free and there is a real devil who keeps people bound and torments them.

This man came to the tent revival and started manifesting a demon. He got set free and surrendered his life to Jesus.

They had the Holy Spirit upon  them, but not in them. They performed miracles and healing as Jesus sent them out and saw the power of the Holy Spirit working in their lives. This is similar to the old testament where the Holy Spirit would come upon people.

In the book of John, Jesus shares how their relationship is going to shift with the Holy Spirit by saying He dwells with you, but will be in you.

Then He breathed on them and they received the Holy Spirit, which is different from being baptized in the Holy Spirit.

John  20:21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” 22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

In John 20, Jesus was with them and they received the Holy Spirit. They had been born again, that inner relationship with the Lord. But then He tells them to wait for the baptism of the Spirit and ascends into heaven.

Acts 1:4 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; 5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.


Then, Jesus shared the purpose for the baptism of the Spirit

Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

This reveals that the baptism of the Spirit was to empower them with the gifts of the Spirit to be witnesses and share the Gospel. This was not when Jesus breathed on them because He ascended into heaven right after that.

Acts 1:9 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.


Later on in acts 2, you see the baptism of the Holy Spirit, giving them tongues and empowering them to spread the Gospel through out the book of acts in the same signs and wonders Jesus demonstrated.

Acts 2:2 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.


So they had Holy Spirit dwelling with them, then Jesus breathed on them and they had Holy Spirit dwelling in them, then they received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, empowering them to spread the Gospel in power.

At every worship meeting twice a week one or two persons will get up and go out front to share their testimony as to how they came to be born new again and of miracles and blessings that they have received. 

Praying for those with needs and/or laying hands on people with needs is common practice and done in faith that the promises of God are yea and amen ... such as, "these signs shall follow them that believe ... they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover." 

Some miraculous healings are pretty well instant and some healings are incremental and happen over time [but in these situations I believe that Jesus is also healing a persons faith and their walk]. 

A few recent ones -

This weekend we came across a group of teenagers and asked if anyone had pain in their body, one kid had dislocated his thumb and was in constant pain. We prayed and the swelling instantly disappeared and his thumb was healed and we got to share the Gospel with him and he gave his life to Jesus.

A lady came in our church and had a broken ankle from a fall earlier that week. We prayed and instantly the swelling went down and soon she took the boot off and started walking on it without the boot. About two weeks ago she returned to church and gave us the boot because the doctors said she was completely healed.

Another guy in our church had diabetes, I prayed over him at a birthday party and it's been 6 months with no signs of diabetes and no insulin shots.

In Pakistan, back in November we prayed over 12 people who had intense high fevers and instantly the fevers left. We also saw many demons cast out as people came to Jesus.

In Tanzania, my wife prayed for four days over a mute girl and on the fourth day she started speaking and had her voice back. She started shouting praise to the Lord.

In Brazil, our translator had metal in his leg from a motor cycle accident. He could feel the screws on the side of his leg. After we prayed, he couldn't find the screws so he tried running and ran through a mall. When he came back he started crying, overwhelmed by the love of God and started to open air preach what happened to him opening the door to share Jesus with the crowd.

These kind of miracles have become normal occurrences over the last 12 years.
