  1. We need to receive (the teaching of) grace so that we could have obedience to the faith (Rom 1:5); This is why we are sent a minister to impart the spiritual gift (of grace in it
  2. Faith Faith: is all about seeking the truth so that we can be pardoned by God (Jer 5:1); Without which believers lie when they say that the Lord is living (5:2); Because these believers have not
  3. Hi Patricia, Part one is on the first page, and part 2 is on the second page...

  5. So, what exactly is the subject? I am sorry, but it's a bit discursive, and I lost track of the main point about three paragraphs in. Are you just saying that we need to trust in Christ, and not personal abillity to believe? Or are you perhaps saying that we shouldn't focus on solely the social aspects of the church gathering? The topic of this is if we have our own faith presently, or if we have/ or need to have the faith OF Christ. I know this is alot, but if you can ask God to go before you, and give you understanding, then He will so that you can know and ask God to take you where you need to be. I hope I answered your question. Z
  6. The Holy Spirit teaches us by comparing scripture with scripture so that our faith would stand in the power of God, NOT in the wisdom of men (1Cor 2:13 & 5-4) We need to (learn how) to come from (OUR) faith (which is spoken of in all the world (Rom 1:8) to (Christ
  7. A true believer has (asked God to take them ) through the process of laying the foundation of repentance from their dead works (old sinful nature) so that God could give them permission to go on unto perfection. (or the born again experience) (Heb 6:1&3) These believers have learned to ask God to take them through this process from the messenger that God Himself has sent unto them to patiently instruct them so that God may grant them repentance unto the knowledge of this truth (2Tim 2:24-26) This is why God tells us that there are vessels of honor, AND dishonor in the church, the vessels of dishonor need to have their sins (unto death) purged out from them by God, so that they might become sanctified vessels of honor because they have been prepared by God, for His use. (2Tim 2:20) This is why we need to ask God to create Christ in us, so that we could DO the good that we were ordained to do from the beginning, so that we could not boast in ourselves (doing) because it is a GIFT from God (Eph 2:10-8); And this
  8. It seems that the leaders today are causing believers to be in error, and God will not have mercy upon these teachers, and those who are led by them because of their evil
  9. A true Christian is continuing in the apostles doctrine, these (who are under the teaching of the doctrine of grace) have all things in common, meaning;- they are in one accord (Strongs Greek #3661 - with one mind, and one passion) and are single-minded concerning the faith. (Acts 2:42, 44 & 46) We can only continue in the apostles doctrine, which needs to learned, If God sends a minister unto us. (2Tim 3:14); This is the doctrine that we need to believe in so that our soul could be saved from death (Heb 10:39, 1Tim 4:16); This doctrine is called the doctrine of Christ which we need to know, or we cannot have God
  10. No soldier entangles themselves with the affairs of this life, so that they may please Him who has chosen them (2Tim 2:4); If Jesus has asked you to come and follow Him, would you say yes, but first let me go and bury my father? (or the pre-occupations of this life) (Lk 9:59) Then Jesus says to you,
  11. The Mind We need to learn to compare scripture with scripture so that we can spiritually judge all things, and have an answer for every man because we have the mind of Christ. (Is 28:9-10, 1Cor 2:15-16, Phil 1:9, 1Pet 3:15, Col 4:6) Once we believe in Jesus, we need to come to learn, by taking His light yoke (of repentant faith) so that we could be instructed and have rest (or understanding) for our soul. (Matt 11:29 cf. Jer 31:18-19) We are given the knowledge of the glory of God, by the mercy of God through His servants manifesting the truth by the scriptures. (2Cor 4:6,1-2) This is the form of teaching which causes us to become obedient from our hearts so that we would no longer serve sin. (Rom 6:17) Because ALL scripture is given unto us for our instruction in righteousness, so that we would be perfected to do good or merciful works. (2Tim 3:16-17) This is how we are prepared to go on to minister grace through the good communication which edifies those who hear. (Eph 4:29, Rom 15:2) These are the servants who labor among you (in the word) who are to be highly esteemed in love, because of this work. This is how we live in peace. (5:12-13) Those that are after their flesh, mind the things of the flesh; but those that are after the Spirit, mind the things of the Spirit Rom 8:5 Is your mind after the things of the flesh, OR the things of the Spirit? Let us look at the differences between them to figure out what our minds are set upon. Those whose minds are on the Flesh: Those whose minds are on the flesh cannot please God. (Rom 8:8) Why you ask? Because the carnal mind is against God and cannot subject itself to the law of God. (8:7) Those who live in the flesh are not the children of God. (9:8) Those who walk in the flesh are under the condemnation (8:1) of loving darkness more than the light because of evil deeds. (Jn 3:19) These need God to work His truth into them so that it
  12. Understand Strongs #4920 The upright man of understanding, has the knowledge of the things that pertain to salvation, because he is able to join the things together which need to be perceived. Understand Strongs #3539 Therefore, we need to think upon, and consider certain things, so that we can perceive with our minds, and have true biblical understanding. Understand Strongs #1987 Consequently, our need to put our attention, and thoughts on the things so that we would be acquainted with them, and have the understanding of them is vitally important. Understand Strongs #3563 And so, the power to consider these things, judge, and determine these things is so that we could have understanding. Understand Strongs #1097 Thus, we need to learn these things, so that we can get knowledge, and have understanding, which can be known. We need to understand what the will of the Lord is so that we would not be unwise (Eph 5:17); And we cannot do the will of God without the knowledge of the doctrine of God (Jn 7:17); which doctrine has us lay the foundation of repentance from dead works (or our old man) for true faith towards God so that God might permit us to go on unto perfection. (Heb 6:1&3) We are NOT to receive anyone who does not bring/teach this doctrine of Christ, or we will partake in their evil deeds because these do not have the Father and the Son. (2Jn 1:9-11) To be perfect is the ability to love, even our enemies and those who despitefully use us. (Col 3:14, Matt 5:44-48) Do you have this understanding? (Jn 8:43) If not, then you need to ASK of God to open your understanding, so that you might understand these scriptures that are speaking of repentance, and remission (deliverance) from sins, so that you also might be a witness of these things (Lk 24:45, 47-48); because without this understanding, there is no conversion, unto being healed. (Jn 12:40, Matt 13:15, Acts 28:27) Those who are on the wayside ground will hear these scriptures without having understanding, and because they don
  13. So basically, if you are a poor teacher and you don't even know it, someone will view you as evil. Therefore, a teacher who isn't good at teaching Gods word, must be secretly Lucifer's agent. Yes, that is correct, this is why God says that there should not be many teachers, because they will receive much greater condemnation. (Jm 3:1).
  14. Those who have the mind of Christ can spiritually judge all things because they have received the things of the Spirit which things are not with words from man
  15. Love edifies others in the word of God (Eph 4:16); this is how we are to serve one another (Gal 5:13); we can do this after we have waited on the Spirit for this righteous and loving ability (Gal 5:5-6) Love speaks the truth so that others may grow up. (Eph 4:15) God wants our love to abound more and more in (godly) knowledge and in all (righteous) judgment (Phil 1:9). Let us follow after this love (1Tim 6:11); Love provokes others to do this good work (Heb 10:24); Let this brotherly/sisterly love continue (Heb 13:1) Therefore love has nothing to do with giving stuff away. (1Cor 13:1-2) For we know nothing about love unless we know that love edifies others in the knowledge and wisdom of God. (Eph 4:16) This is the one mind we are to have so that the God of love and peace shall be with us. (2Cor 13:11) This is how we can love our neighbor as ourselves. (Gal 5:14) We are to know those who are among us who labor in the word of God, so that we can esteem them very highly in love for this gracious work. This is how we can be at peace among ourselves. (1Thess 5:12-13) This is how we can be holy ( meaning, understanding, see Prov 9:10) and without blame before Him (God); and rooted and grounded in love. (Eph 1:4, 3:17) Love can rejoice in this truth that reveals grace. (1Cor 13:6, Col 1:6) If there is to be any fellowship of the Spirit, and comfort of love let us be like minded, and of one accord so that we could experience this same love. (Phil 2:1-2) This is how we show our love to the saints, by writing these things down, so that others may be edified and built up. (Col 1:4, 1 Tim 3:14, 1 Cor 4:14, 2Cor 2:4, Est 9:30) It
  16. Hi there everyone, I am happy to see that you took the time to look up the word perfect. I just want to add on what you have come up with for your edification. Now that we know that we need to be perfect, the question is HOW do we become perfect? The word perfect is used 99 times in the bible, and I use the blueletterbible.org to do word studies which is very easy to use. We can only go into the Scriptures to find answers so that we would be edified by the word of God, rather than our opinions. The verse that was used in question Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. That word perfect is strongs # 5046 which means brought to it
