  1. What about Lazarus and the rich man?
  2. So even if the act is not accompanied by adulterous thoughts it is still a sin? I ask because I am a recovering porn addict and when I feel like the urge will overpower me I sometimes masturbate to thoughts of my wife just to relieve the physical urge, which makes the sinful mental thoughts easier to resist. Is just this physical act a sin even though I am not having any sinful thoughts? Obviously this is when I am not able to be with my wife or there wouldn't be a problem.
  3. I thank you all very much for your replies. I have repented over this many times but the enemy kept putting doubts in my mind. I will now claim victory over this and not let satan use this against me any longer. Thank you all!
  4. Hello, I have read a lot of interpretations of what exactly the unforgivable sin really was, but I still have not come across one that addresses my situation. This has tormented me for 30 years. I was saved when I was about 6 years old. When I was about 9 years old I swore at the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and told them to get out of my life forever. It was just my temper speaking and it has bothered me ever since, stopping me from growing in my faith which I really am trying to do. Was this the unforgivable sin I committed? Please help. Thank You.
