Well I have had to go through some of those no eating for 14 hrs. Personaly I don't care. If I get hungry I eat and rescudule. besides I have come to the conclusion that eating is bad for your health. Doctors don always agree, I watch the new and one week they say somthings good for you and a few weeks later someone else says it's bad for you. what a crock. I put my faith in God. Think about it. there are a billion ways you can die. God is the giver and taker of life. when it's your time to go, the best doctor in the world can't save you. Some doctors are pretty good and have done a lot of good for this world. but they ar not gods and their knowledge comes from God. Our doctor is a born again Christian. He's a pretty good doctor.

I am really hoping that someone can answer my question.

I've been posting here for about a week now, hoping it would help my Christian walk, but it's very discouraging when I reply to a topic with a heavy heart and good intentions, only to be told that a moderator has to view it first. I'm just wondering if this happens to everyone here, or just me.

It makes me feel like a second-class citizen on this board, and that my voice doesn't really matter. Can someone PLEASE, PLEASE reply to this topic, and give me some insight?

One of my MAIN spiritual struggles is self-esteem....I've been battling thoughts that God doesn't love me as much as He loves other Christians, or that I matter as much as 95% of the Christians out there. I really do feel much of the time that I don't matter much in God's Kingdom, which really hurts, because I love the Lord so very much, and my main goal is that I bless the Lord and edify Him.

This self-doubt is such a battke for me, and my being told that my posts don't matter isn't helping any.

3.as for your self esteem, You must remember that Satan is th author of confusion, 1Pe 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Jas 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

When we look back at the Greek, Egyptian, Myan, African, and other historical religions, most of us smile inwardly at the ridiculousness of what they believed. There's no shame, who wouldn't be dismissal of such mythos?

As man has evolved since, so too has his religions. Only, nowadays, our dogmas are complex and intelligently put together as opposed to our earlier ideas. Modern religions make more sense also in comparison, but one trait remains: ridiculousness. When one takes a step back and views Christianity with logic and reason, this becomes apparent. Noah's ark is one example. There are many more fairy tales to be found within the Bible, but I'm pointing out that the Greek's stories can be no more plausible as the reason for the existance of humans and everything else than Christianity.

Religions offer an answer to an as of yet un-answerable question: why are we here? People aren't willing to face the truth; that we can't know the answer. When a juicy deal like Christianity appears, people eat it up. And why not? You have something to believe in, a reason to be good, and a promise of eternal happiness if you serve accordingly.

So what's wrong with being a Christian? It's not the truth, it is not a valid reason for our existance. I'm not asserting that I know the truth, but I will bet my life that Christianity, just like Greek mythology, is not the answer to life's great mysteries.

This is the part where you all disagree, and say that being a Christian isn't all bad and is a much better lifestlye than an atheist's, but take this question: if Christianity is indeed the answer, the truth, why should scientists even attempt to discover new things about the place we live? Science logically assesses the goings-on of the world around us, and ultimately is responsible for our comfy homes, computers, cars, and nice ways of living. But why keep making efforts to understand if all the answers are given to us in one book call the Bible? I believe that if people stopped devoting their lives and mental efforts to non-existant entities, science would take off at an even greater pace, thereby pushing mankind to grow and mature more efficiently as a species. One day this will happen, as science has already begun snuffing out the errors in religion with evidence and logic (ie, the age of the Earth). One day there will be no more death, no more suffering as a result of fear-driven religious belief. There is no doubt the immeasurable amounts of blood spilled on behalf of Christianity, especially in its earlier days. Even today people willingly kill themselves in the name of their God, the Holy War going on right this minute backs this claim.

Science is a safe, logical, and ultimately mature path to follow in this life. How many scientists do you see suicide bombing eachother's laboratories? The search for truth, science, is part of man's great adventure. Why just stop and accept that Christianity is the answer? There would be no reason for science at all. I admit that there is a chance of our universe being created by some great being. But if it exists, the being will be found when man is ready, when our science and intelligent minds unravel more of the universe's mysteries. When that day comes, that great being will in no way be similar at all to the God of Christianity, just as it won't look anywhere near like that of Zeus, or the Buddha.

Salvation-Gods Gift to Man

In (Gen 3:1-24) you can see the story of the fall of man. Because of Adams disobedience to God, all men were seperated from God and born into sin.

(Romans 5:12) says, Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

(Romans_3:23) says,

I heard on the news the other day that winter fuel was cheeper to make and summer fuel is more expensive.

More people travel in the summer so it cost more to make, I don't think I believe it but thats what the news said.

I think it's just an excuse to gouge us.

Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Gen 2:22 The LORD God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man.

Men think Logicaly, Women think emotionaly, God designed it that way and when used togather as man and wife working as a team in Christ it becomes a very powerful combination. Men are usally stronger physicaly so they can work hard to provide for their families, That doesn't mean women arn't strong physicaly also, but it is the way God designed them.

Women were design to give life and nurture life. Women have a much harder role in the home though.

Ecc 9:9 Enjoy life with the woman whom you love all the days of your fleeting life which He has given to you under the sun; for this is your reward in life and in your toil in which you have labored under the sun.

Women are like fine China and should be treated with tender loving care.

This is a serious question.

When we are told to think of others first and to not overlook those in need, does this include animals?...don't laugh!

I ask this because when I get up in the morning, my poor cat is meowing for food and I want to have MY coffee FIRST and I have satisfied myself first before the cat on many occasions.

I was talking to my sister about it (she's also a Christian) and she said she would feed the cat first before her morning cuppa. I felt guilty and nasty.

It may seem trivial but it does make you think. Just because the cat's an animal, should I treat it as inferior and make it wait.....?

Grab you coffee and feed the cat at the same time. just make sure you are awake enough that you don't drink the cat food and feed the coffee to the cat.

on the serious side. Feed the cat first.

Israel is Gods chosen people, in Eph_6:12 it says For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Satan has wanted to destroy Israel since the entered the promise land. the book of Revelation says gog and magog

will come to destroy Isreal, this is before the tribulation period. After the tribulation period Jesus is going to return and set his kingdom upon the earth and raign for 1000 years. during this time Satan will be bound. After the 1000 year raign Satan will be loosed again yet for a little while to decieve the leaders of the nations again and again come to destroy Isreal. That will be the final battle when Jesus will destroy his and Isreals enemies once and for all. The world is being decieved by Satan to destroy Gods choesn people. as said before Iseral doesn't have to reconize anyone. They are Gods chosen people.

I have seen several court cases where people have hit dogs and sued the owner of the dog and won and the dog owner has had to pay for car repairs because they were not controling their dog. A dog is like a little child and has to be cared for. The law states that the owner must be in control of the dog. If they sue you for the dog, counter sue for the cost of the car repairs, you will most likely win.

News Flash: Frantic old lady calls animal controle to help catch escaped Parakeet.

90 year old Mrs, Snorgle called animal controle at 9:15 this morning in a panic saying her Parakeet of 15 yrs had broken out of it's cage and would they help her catch him. They asked her if she knew where the Parakeet was? She said yes

it's out in the front yard beating up cats and chasing cars. animal controle, is this a joke? No said Mrs. Snorgle, I made a mistake. I was changing it's water and grabed the wrong glass and put Gas in her water tube. animal control, Gas what are you doing with Gas in the house? Oh I use that to get my wood stove started she said. Animal Control, well I wouldn't worry to much Mrs. Snorgle, she'll run out of gas pretty soon and you should be able to just go out and pick her up.

Hello SparedByMercy, I understand what your saying, But like it or not, there are wolvs on the prowel in all sections of the internet. Putting up your real name age and other info can lead to Identy theft and spam most folks don't want. I know because I have been there and have had to change internet service because of spam from xxx sites. I don't look at these sites, don't like them and I defentaly don't want to open my e-mail and see them there. so I keep a low profile. If you post you name and age, where your from. that is enough for someone to find everything they want to know about you. There are software programs that can be purchased that will help you find just about anything one wants to know about someone. It might be a good idea for you to do a google search on protecting your Identy and learn some do's and don'ts on protecting your Identy. Booth is my last name.

Hmm What's Normal? I,ve done the same thing, some folks think i'm normal, so don't, as for myself I'm not sure eather. I might be, and I might not, it's so confusing trying to decide I just gave it up to God, any way the Bible says we are a pecurler people, so I figure at least I got that right.
