  1. P. S. Jhn 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life.
  2. Some other thoughts: SEED Gen 1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, [and] the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed [is] in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. Gen 1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, [and] herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed [was] in itself, after his kind: and God saw that [it was] good. To this day, scientists do not know what is in a seed that has life. They know they need water, sun light, etc. That is all. Mat 13:18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower. Mat 13:19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth [it] not, then cometh the wicked [one], and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side. Mat 13:20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Mat 13:21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. Mat 13:22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. Mat 13:23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth [it]; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. These verses compare the Word of God to seed. 1Pe 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 1Pe 1:24 For all flesh [is] as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: 1Pe 1:25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. Context tells us the
  3. Interesting study. I had a few comments. Most of the earth (71%) is covered in ocean, which is salt water. Salt has great significance in the Bible. It represents commitment. If a contract was entered into with another with the use of salt it was irrevocable. Salt can
  4. Hi Wayne. I agree. I understand much better where you
  5. I think it is unhealthy to get too focused on what the Devil is doing. What happens is you start to over spiritualize events, and your life with God slides into a works based Christianity. If something bad happens (your washer breaks down), you think you blew it. When things go well, you think your works is the reason. It becomes very self- focused. Furthermore, it leads to condemning others, a lot of the time unjustly. If you look at each of the verses dealing with Satan and the Devil, the object is to be humble, trust God and keep His Word in our minds. Doing that accomplishes all that is needed. I don
