It does seem that prophecy is coming right along. As someone told me, reading certain scriptures is like looking at today's newspapers! .........Whirlwind

I believe the AC must be someone that is either Jewish or must show lineage to the Jewish people. Honestly, I doubt the rabbis would embrace someone as the Messiah that didn't show a connection to the Jewish people. But this doesnt' necessary mean it's a real connection -- it very well may be a well orchastrated lie. In it the child was born of woman and had a 666 on his scalp. That isn't how it happens. The whole world will follow him, not just the Jewish people. He doesn't need to prove any blood connection to any race or faith. He comes to earth pretending to be Christ.....full grown and full of power. So much of God's Word warns us that Satan will come in the end of days. He is the anti-christ, which properly translated would be "instead-of-christ." He is an imposter, a deceiver and all those that haven't been taught, including many Christians, will believe it is the true Christ. They will take the "mark of the beast," which is to follow him, believing his lies and deceit. No one will be physically marked but they receive "his mark in their foreheads, or in their hands," which just means they believe him and work to carry on his deceit. We must know that the fake comes first and wait for Christ. He arrives after the workings of Satan, at the 7th and last trump. .............Whirlwind

I hope you find it interesting. ~~~~~~~~~ These Israelites were stubborn, rebellious and stupid. I don't think I would have questioned someone who had just moved a couple of million folks from the bonds of slavery, found them ample water [Exodus 15:25], and was now providing them nourishment on a daily basis with no physical effort on their part......outside of just picking it up from the ground! But they did question....and they grumbled. It took 40 years to travel 240 miles.....six miles a year! My grass grows almost that fast! When they reached Sinai in the third month The Lord promised that they would be a Kingdom of Priests and a Holy Nation......if they would only obey Him and keep His covenants. Up to this point He had saved them from Pharaoh [Exodus 14:26-28], He had provided them water in a trackless waste [Exodus 17:5-7] [Numbers 20:1-13] and He fed them....all they could eat and still they complained and grumbled. Now I don't know much about you.....but if I had witnessed these miracles, and The Lord had told me that He was going to make me something special.....I'd say...."Let's do it!" These folks and their ancestors must have been taking "dummy drops" while they were laying on the banks of the Nile.....or something. THEY REFUSED TO ENTER THE PROMISED LAND! This was the land promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They arrived in Paran three days after a short march from Sinai [Numbers 10:11-13]....a little over two years from their exodus from Egypt. Twelve scouts were sent out to observe "The Promised Land" [Numbers 13:1-15]....but only Joshua and Caleb had the courage to report the truth [13:30][14:6-9]. But the rest were cowards, did not believe The Lord would protect them (DUH) and lied [13:31-33]. Forty years for every day their scouting party was gone [Numbers 14:33-35]. Wander and eat manna! The Desert of Paran.....where Hagar and Ishmael went after leaving Sarah and Abraham [Genesis 21:17-21]. This is also where King David sought refuge after Samuel had died. He was hiding here from Saul [1 Samuel 25:1-4]. These stupid Israelites wandered around in here for another 38 years because they would not trust The Lord. Do you think He would let them have steaks and burgers after treating Him this way? SCARLET PRAYERS I know you posted this response long ago but it really hit home with me. All I can say is....Me Too! It isn't that I think that perhaps I shouldn't watch it but, as you said, I can't anymore. I just can't sit through some of the movies or television shows I used to watch. I believe there is a "reasonable explanation" to the Genesis narration that allows "some" of the theories of science. Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2.And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. The word "was" in that verse is thought by some to have been mistranslated and should be "became" as is noted in some modern bibles. So...the first verse tells us God created heaven and earth but doesn't specify when that took place. It could be millions or billions of years ago, as science tells us. And then the world BECAME void. There must be a reason the world became that way as we know it wasn't created as such: Isaiah 45:18 For thus saith the LORD That created the heavens; God Himself That formed the earth and made it; He hath established it, He created it not in vain, He formed it to be inhabited: "I am the LORD; and there is none else. There He tells us He didn't create it void as it is described in Gen.1:2 so what happened? My belief, from scripture, is that there are three ages of earth....we are presently in the second age. In that first age, (Gen.1:1-2) Satan rebelled and God destroyed the age, not earth, although it was shaken. That was probably the cause of earth shifting on it's axis. That was the age of the dinosaur. The description of this second age began in the last half of Gen. 1:2 And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. That was the beginning of the "first day" of this age. So, I agree with science in that the earth is ancient (I have no clue as to how old that is) but where we part is in the theory of evolution. Man did not evolve. We are made in His image. There are other scriptures of course that solidify, in my mind, this teaching but I believe it does what you suggested above in giving us a "reasonable explanation that doesn't involve setting aside scriptural teachings. .........Whirlwind

Thank you for the welcome and the kind words. I agree with you in that God wants us to "search out His ways" and stay away from traditions of man. As far as the "tribes" issue, it isn't a matter of salvation but is one of interest, at least to me. When you take in the whole picture of what has happened throughout history you see God's hand leading, guiding and directing His children. When I look at the Christian nations of today we see His blessings have been poured out on them. I believe He puts us where He wants us to be to do the greatest good and as well as feeding and caring for flesh bodies in other countries, the "greatest good" is sharing His Word for souls. I see evidence of that in my life and I see it on the grander scale too. I see that in England, America, Canada, Australia. So...my personal belief is He has placed His children right where He wants them to be. He has set the board for the big game of good vs. evil and He is moving His players into position.... So is his opponent. The game began long ago and appears to be drawing to it's conclusion. I know we win but the question is, how many of his players can we bring to our side? Actually, they are God's players anyway but have been led away. With His help we may be able to pull them home. .........Whirlwind

Hi Sweety Cakes, It is an interesting study and there are many signs pointing to areas the lost tribes could be. I think the main thing to realize however is that there is a separation in the house of Judah and the house of Israel (wherever they may be at this time) but they will be joined again into "one stick" and that may not be much longer. (Ez.37:16-17) Interesting times ahead. Thank you for the welcome. I would add a smiley face but haven't yet figured out how to make them jump to my page. Yes, it is basic but so many Christians don't know about it. It isn't clearly written, especially in our history books but there are some books that go into it and really make you consider the very strong possibility. There are two books I would recommend....Jacob's Pillar, A Biblical Historical Study - E.Raymond Capt and Judah's Sceptre and Joseph's Birthright - J.H. Allen Some of the scriptures that tell of the possibility are: Gen.12:22 Israel to be a great and mighty nation - (God's first promise to Abraham) Gen. 13:16 Israel to have unaccountable seed: (This was God's second promise to Abraham.) The Jews have never fulfilled this prophecy Gen.22:16-18 And said, "By Myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed My voice." (The nation of Israel doesn't fit that description but America does.) Genesis 28:14 Israel was to spread throughout the earth and be a blessing to everyone - The Jews never fulfilled that but America does Gen.17:4-6, 35:11, 48:19...Israel will be a company of nations. Great Britain is a company of nations and America is the greatest of those nations. That's okay. Just consider England and America when you come across some of the prophecies. The house of Israel has to be somewhere and we're certainly the best candidate. When you think about our history it is phenomenal to think what we have become in 200 years, how we help the rest of the world, the blessings we have and being One Nation Under God. If it's true that could be one of the reasons we have such strong ties to the nation of Israel, not just political but emotional ties as well. .........Whirlwind

I meant in the tribulation of Satan, not the one of the true Christ. Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time." 17.And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. That last verse refutes the rapture doctrine as he is coming to make war with us, Christians....those that keep the commandments of God and Jesus. He already has the others, those that don't believe in God. He wants us but he can't take us except by deceit and that deceit is pretending to be Christ. In order to do that he can't be going around chopping heads off, etc., so those terrible things attributed to him at that time have to be spiritual in nature, not physical. Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8.And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. 13.And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14.And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast;..... To make the "whole world" worship him he has to do it with either fear or deception. The above verses tell us it is with deception. They worship him because of the miracles, when he is pretending to be Christ. He does this with the power given to him by God. So....my understanding would be that Satan's time here will be great for everyone, except those he deceives but they won't know it has happened until the true Christ arrives......then, gnashing and wailing begins for anyone that "worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand". Revelation 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: ............Whirlwind

That's an interesting take, whirlwind. But what evidence do you have for the "house of Israel" being in America? I'm sorry it has taken so long to reply to you but I wanted to be thorough with the answer so waited for a time I wouldn't be interrupted. It sounds as if you know about the twelve tribes being split. The ten northern tribes, now called the ten lost tribes, were scattered by God. They were taken captive by the Assyrian king and never returned to their own land. They eventually traveled over the Caucasus Mountains (caucasian) and settled throughout Europe then eventually went to England. From England, well......you know the rest of the story. The story about the battle of Hamangog really begins long ago. It started with Isaac, son of Abraham: Genesis 25:21 And Isaac intreated the Lord for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived. 22.And the children struggled together within her; and she said, "If it be so, why am I thus?" And she went to enquire of the LORD. 23.And the LORD said unto her, "Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger. The twins, Jacob and Esau, were fathers of two great nations. Esau of Russia and Jacob, later changed to Israel, father of the 12 tribes. The favorite son of Jacob/Israel was Joseph but he was sold by his jealous brothers. All part of God's great plan as he was a "type" of saviour for his people. He prospered while in service to the Pharaoh and kept many from starvation, including the family that sold him. Before the death of Joseph's father, Jacob, they were reunited. Joseph, by that time, had two sons, Ephraim and Manassah. Before Jacob's death he blessed the two boys saying they would be great nations. To make a long story even longer.....it is thought that Ephraim is Great Britain of today and Manassah is America. The two great superpowers of the world are America and Russia (the two nations fighting in the womb) and it continues today. Russia has been out of the spotlight for a time but seems to be cranking back up again. Ezekiel 38:8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them. 11.And thou (Russia) shalt say, 'I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates. (America) God's superpower against the godless nation of communism. We rose to such power in so short a time. He gathered us here and blessed us with riches....the house of Israel (Canada and America) 17.Thus saith the Lord God; 'Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by My servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them? 18.And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord God, that My fury shall come up in My face. 19.For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel. I believe we live in the land of Israel, where many of the tribes have settled. We are the One Nation Under God, gathered here and blessed by God Himself. America is that great nation of "unwalled" villages. Our brother Judah will experience the battle of Armageddon in Jerusalem while we watch God fight the battle of Hamangog against the Russians/Esau in our northern regions.....Alaska, which we bought from Esau. Saying I say or think anything like Hal Lindsey is frightening in itself. You are the only one I ever heard of that believes that prophesy was about real horses. There are two tribulations. The first, of course, is that of anti-christ when he comes pretending to be the true Christ. It won't be a time of upheaval at all but rather a big love fest....one of peace and prosperity: Daniel 11:21 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. After he has woven his web of deceit and lies then the true Christ arrives and His time of "tribulation" will probably take 15 minutes.....so, I don't think we will need to worry about the things you wrote above (fossil fuels, etc.), at least that is my hope and belief. ..........Whirlwind

the REAL question I'd love to have answered is this: the battle is fought on HORSEBACK; and that's not metaphorical, it's clearly stated several times...we're talking MILLIONS OF HORSES...where to they all come from? how do they get food? It could be but it is more likely, to me, to be modern day vehicles. Ezekiel 38 and 39 occurs before the antichrist, and the war of Armageddon occurs in the biblical land of Israel at Megiddo and is led by the Beast in an attempt to destroy Jerusalem and is destroyed at the second coming of Christ. Armageddon happens after he has been there for a time and, as you stated, is fought there. The battle of Hamangog and battle of Armageddon, are both fought by God just before the last trump. The anti-christ is in Jerusalem convincing the world that he is Christ but where is the house of Israel? The house of Judah and house of Israel are not the same. Ezekiel 37:16 "Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upn it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions: The children of Israel that are "companions" to Judah are Benjamin and some of Levi. They remained with Judah when the tribes split. They are the "Jews." Those of the 10 tribes that split are not Jews but are the house of Israel. 17.And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand. 22.And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all; and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all: All 12 tribes will be one again. The question is.....where is the house of Israel today? Where they are is where the battle will take place and that is not in Jerusalem where the battle of Armageddon will be fought. So, where will that battle be and who will fight it? I agree, they are very different wars, in different locations but they will happen at the same time....when Christ returns. I am a believer in the 10 lost tribes, (the house of Israel), having migrated to what are the Christian nations of today. Consider, if that is true and I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't be, that if America is the greatest of those Christian nations, that the war will be fought here....in our mountains and who would come from the north? Russia, into the land we bought from them - Alaska. God is the one that fights and wins that war! Anyway, it is something to consider. When you read about it again consider the possibility and remember to split Israel from Judah. When those prophecies were written there was no nation of Israel. Only the tribe of Judah (and Benjamin with some of Levi) are considered the house of Judah, or "Jews," while the 10 "lost" tribes are the house of Israel. Those wolves wear some very fancy sheep's clothing. I used to watch them to learn (for a very short time), then after I truly learned in other places I did as you and would occasionally watch to see what lies, (false doctrine), were being told. It became too difficult to watch. It isn't so much their antics but to see the audience falling for it hook, line and sinker was very disheartening. ...........Whirlwind

My belief is that at the end of days, once the two witnesses have spoken and God's elect have testified that many will come to Christ, our brother Judah is of course included in that. God specifies that not only the house of Israel will be sealed but also the tribe of Judah: Revelation 7:4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred for forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. 5.Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand....... So....when the elect are delivered before Satan and "turn to you for a testimony" the Holy Spirit will speak through them and : Luke 21:15 for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. Then they will be sealed by God and then Christ comes...... ........Whirlwind

We do need to be careful of all teachers today and the way to test them is, as you stated, with aligning their words with God's words. However, so many of us don't study from the Bible but take the words of their teachers (a snippet here and a snippet there) and believe it is Father's Word. I think that if we studied more we would understand that the "seed" so many of the television evangelist ask for is money when the "seed" Christ talks about is the seed of truth, the seed of His word we should sow in this world. I hate to see good people taken advantage of by so-called Christians. God tells us the teachers and preachers will face judgement first. ........Whirlwind
