  1. Hey everyone, I'm wondering what you say about this: I'm living in the Netherlands, sofar nothing realy special. Raised in a dutch reformed culture, became pentacostal/baptist/evangelical. The last couple of years, I've started doing studies on the country I came from, history in general, politics (dutch, european, and main global politics). So I started reading alot of stuf, also on the internet. So, there we go... THE SETTING After WO II, during the rebuild of Europe, a anti-american sentiment start rising in Europe. The French and British, onces worldleaders, got annoyed by American global policitics. America was affraid of communistic Russia and was eager to do something about that. But Europe wasn't, because it wasn't ready for another war and Russia was (and still is) a great importer of European goods. These tensions weren't good for the relationship between the European countries and the United States of America. The polish political advisior Joseph Retinger contacted his dutch friend, prince Bernhard (husband of the dutch queen at that time, Queen Juliana) to organise a meeting with high business class people together with leaders from Europe and America, with the intention (according to the offical given reason) "to aim of promoting understanding between the cultures of United States of America and Western Europe." THE FIRST BILDERBERG CONFERENCE So, it was may 1954. The last days of this month, the hotel "Bilderberg" (notice the origin of the name of this conference) in the quiet town of Oosterbeek (near Arnhem) was completely booked. Police secured the area; tolks were brought in; waiters were screened for beeing "not too close to the communism". At the end of the month, the conference took place. Starting at may 29, ending at may 31. Prince Bernard was the chairman of the meeting. 75 leaders in politics, economics, banking, housing, producing goods (like cars, electronica) came together at the relatively small hotel. Altough all speakers had only 8 minutes time to give a speech, the speeching wasn't the main target of the meeting. The meeting was intended to talk with eachother, without any notice to press. The informal character of this meeting was ideal to share secret planns. The large succes of meeting had a follow-up every year; soon a new organisation was born: The Bilderberg-group Prince Bernard in trouble, Beatrix backs-up The formula of the secret meetings, were it was able to discuss "realy important stuff" repeated every year untill 1976. Prince Bernard, chairman for all those years, became in trouble for accepting bribe money to buy (not needed at that time) Lookhead fighter aircrafts for the dutch army. Some dutch politicians thought the "Bilderberg-group" had something to do with that; there was no other option left: prince Bernard had to give up the "Bilderberg"-activities. The yearly conference was cancelled, but the royal dutch influence remained: Crown Princess Beatrix became the new head of chair. Secret? NewWorldOrder, free maisons No-one, except the attendees of the Bilderberg-conferences are aware of what is actualy spoken of at these meetings. Because there would be no politicis, just meeting between leaders, there wouldn't be made any desicion. Therefor it isn't needed to publish anything about the meetings. Trying to keep things secret, means also: people that want to know what that secret is. On this site, Tony Gosling gathered lot of information. Even the "objective" wikipedia notices it. So, what is your problem? Well, what if all things (or even 60%) as mentioned on the website of Tony Gosling are true? The dutch queen, proudly sitting in a church and proclaming on the information site of the dutch royal family as a "active christian believer", would the head of the largest non-christian organisation.
