    The Chinese (mainland and overseas) and all Orientals in Asia are Semites (of the Tribe of Shem via Joktan. Also known as Hebrews of the East), same as Jews, and are part of the Greater Israel (belonging to the 10 Lost Tribes of Israel). God has a special plan for those Christians (Chinese, Koreans, South East Asians, etc) to complete the final phase of the Great Commission and the Orientals are currently evangelizing certain parts of the world (including the 10/40 window) where Western Christian missionaries have decreased in numbers or not able to do so in the very near future.

    So they have a Communist form of government, but the Chinese are Semites, same as the Jewish people and tracing their lineage to Shem, the son of Noah, via Joktan. There are currently well over 150 million Chinese Christians, the largest number of Christians in the world, where ethnicity is concerned.

    So, has anyone actually spent some serious time in prayer about this, asking the Lord if this was from Him? Should you prepare for disaster personally? etc?

    Yes, for a couple of years now, God has pointed stuff (seach for my previous posts over the years here) to me that have confirmed/witnessed to what David Wilkerson said. I only did not know when it would happen, but now I do.

    For instance, God has guided me to various sources like the Daniel's Timeline (2009 - 2015/2016). Also, for a long time now, I had posted about the mid-trib position. That is rapture pointing to the year 2012.

    An ancient civilization created a calender, I believe it was the Mayans, that happens to end in the year 2012. For that reason, many believe that the world will end in 2012. The problem is, thats only 4 years away, and the tribulation itself will last seven years. How do they overlook that? Shiloh62

    2012 is about the End of The Church Age (lasting about 2000 odd years), not about the end of the world.

    The Mayans learnt to create the calendar from the Watchers (referred to in the Book of Enoch) who were fallen angels who were there from the beginning watching God creating the earth and Man.

    Here is my understanding: If Daniel's Last Seven Years were to commence either sometime in 2009 or 2010 and end in either 2015 or 2016, counting down 3.5 years (aka time, times and half a time) will both give the year 2012 as the end of age. In other words, the world may end around 2016.

    As I've previously posted here, Daniel's Last 7 Years is not 7 years of Tribulation, but the first 3.5 years is the Great Tribulation. The next or last 3.5 years is Jacob's Trouble, and also the Wrath of God.

    So it's not wholly 7 years of tribulation that we'll have.

    Also, we do not know the hour or day of the rapture as Jesus said. But since we are given to know the season (as in the Signs of the Times), might we also be given to know the year and even the month? Just not the exact time of day!

    Mystery Babylon in Revelation is interpreted twofold:

    i) Physical, civil city in Mystery Babylon and

    ii) Spiritual Mystery Babylon.

    Spiritual Mystery Babylon: This alludes to Nimrod, the hunter of man (or to hunt down people in his day to gather them together in one place, Babel, in rebellion against God who had commanded them to disperse throughout the then known world and multiply). Nimrod was the first type of Antichrist. In his native language of Chaldee, his name spelt out the number 666. Spiritual Babylon is also interpreted as religious apostasy (2 Thess 2:3) which is brought about by the various ecumenical efforts whereby all religions will be joined together, cooperating to create a One World Church.

    The physical, civil city of Mystery Babylon in Revelation alludes to the ancient Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar who was allowed by God to be made "King of Kings", an absolute ruler over "all men, beasts and fouls" (Daniel 2:37, 38), even allowing him to have an image (he being the head of gold) built and worshipped by the then known world. He was the prototype for the coming One World Dictator.

    Now the main problem arises in identifying this city of Mystery Babylon in Revelation. Is it referring to the ancient city in Iraq. Or some other modern day city?

    While the media in the West are lambasting Israel for killing women and children, and are saturating their viewers with horrific photos of bloodied corpses, Israel as a nation is undergoing an astonishing spiritual awakening as a result of this conflict. It is a pity that the world is unable to be witness to the miracles that are occurring here daily. Even the most jaded person would be amazed at the transformation of the people in this country. After many years of feeling the underdog and fearful of the approbation of the outside world, Israel is undergoing an absolute renaissance on a personal and national level.
