My personal opinion is, if you are going to vote for him you are someone who votes based on one issue. Otherwise, the rest of us who recongnize his many faults will quickly reconsider and look at the rest of the candidates.

Agreed. Journalism simply can't be trusted anymore. The majority have abused their careers by stating their opinions as fact to sway the public instead of giving it to us straight. As far as disliking McCain, I've always had a weird feeling about him, too - especially when he started putting down "the religious right" while running against Bush. I am a Christian and not necessarily a fan of "religion", but, he was quick to distance himself from the fact that people of faith, etc. tend to vote republican. Not very cool if you ask me.
