  1. I tried to delete the above post to no avail... the point is islam is a threat - period! Its sole purpose is to have a caliphate and take over the world. They hide behind "tiquyyia" which is an excuse to lie in the name of allah so they are excused at any means to get their cult inundated into the well-meaning, etc. and sadly it is working. Until we quit excusing the real threat they continue to grow and run with it laughng all the way to the next jihadist camp.
  2. I think it's more than just U.S. citizens that see Islam as a threat... Willow is from the UK? UK has at least 85 courts allowed sharia law so Willow should have an intersting take on this? Otherwise, look at the Israel/palestine confict... wake up, you guys!!!
  3. This could be promising but keep in mind taquiyya (lying in the name of allah) when it comes to islam and also apostasy... are those who claim Jesus is the Son of Man apostates since it is not following the true teachings of islam? I am VERY skeptical of all things islam!
  4. "Evil prevails when good men do nothing" God doesn't want us to roll over and play dead. He works THROUGH us for a reason! As the world becomes more evil, the more difficult it is for Christ and His followers to "fight the good fight" but that is what He calls for us to do in His name. Islam IS a threat! Just look at Europe and all of the problems they are dealing with. Youtube Geert Wilder and he will let you know what his country (Dutch Party, Netherlands) have been dealing with. England alone has at least 85 courts who now allow sharia law to be practiced in their court room. This is a very serious matter and we need to remain aware, as Christians, just what islam's overall goal is. Taquiyya is taught in islam which means to lie in the name of allah. "islamophobia" and the like were invented by the muslim brotherhood as a way to scare people in submission and to be "tolerant" and not ask questions. We need to inform ourselves and be aware of what is REALLY going on here... they are taught on a completely different level and martrydom (i.e. suicide bombers) is praised by its followers and a means to salvation. Look up Brigitte Gabriel and learn about her backstory. She is a Christian who is very informed about islam and also runs an organization called 'Act for America'. You can find her on youtube and her story is very touching and informative.
  5. A voice of sanity! Money-madness is the Big Threat to America! As in capitalism, bloke?
  6. Muslims believe Jesus was a prophet and not the Son of God.
  7. Here is a website with a ton of information on exactly what islam is explaining for one that it really is more of a 'political system' than a 'religion'. Bill Warner is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to all things islam. The fact is islam has one main goal, an islamic caliphate, and it ain't pretty! http://www.politicalislam.com/pages/bio
  8. I'm sure many of them are fiscally conservative more than anything else and even then people like Arnold was a joke of a governor in that area... Hollywood is a bastion of die hard liberals and commies so it really isn't saying much to be called a conservative when you live in that fishbowl.
  9. There may be some "under the table" deals if they DO attack Iran but there has been no indication Obama and his administration show much support for Israel's decision or much support for Israel, in general. Remember, Obama wants to go back to the 1967 borders, etc. Considering the situation, of course the administration is going to ramp up talks but I'm sure it has a lot more to do with trying to stop them than anything else. Here is Huckabee's take on the situation
  10. Sadly, three are now dead and yes he is going to be tried as an adult. Link
  11. The United States has been in talks for months with Israel about this situation and the administration keeps saying an attack would only be a temporary setback to Iran's nuclear program... I think that has more to do with them not wanting to tell us.
  12. Thanks for posting a review... I really want to see this!
  13. Wow, that's too bad but I understand, too, why he is doing it. He will definitely be missed!
  14. Blinkered? What exactly does that mean? I'm not sure what movie you are talking about but that is pretty much a non-issue here. Sure, people might have thier own personal opinions on it but it certainly isn't any "big deal" to our country as a whole. Blinkered as in a race horse wearing blinkers to keep it's eyes on the track ahead and to not be distracted by anything else- is a term in Aus meaning not being open to new things. The movie is called Something New. Okay. Thanks for the explanation and for the name of the movie. It's hard for me to say since I personally have not watched it but like I said, interracial relationships apart from one's own personal opinion is not a big deal over here, either.
  15. Thank you for pointing that out. Like someone else said, what would have been the alternative? If you don't have a reasonable solution to your complaint then how productive are these constant cop bashing threads?

  17. I agree with everyone else. I don't understand how people who are Christians can even begin to feel at all comfortable saying it. My daughter would type it sometimes while on the computer explaining that to her it meant oh my gosh but I told her it didn't matter because others aren't going to read it that way. People taking the Lord's name in vain grates on my nerves unlike any other swear word out there.
  18. It is unfortunate, but as with any job there are usually always going to be a few bad apples. My point to BTS is, that doesn't mean you take the approach of throwing the baby out with the bath water. Out here in California an officer can spend his whole shift dealing with one violation after another. In fact, CHP will deal with two pullovers at once if they have to. So, when it comes time to fight a ticket, it is nothing personal but what he saw and then dealt with it in a way that seemed right at the time. I NEVER hear anything about quota and in fact to them, that has become "the joke". Believe it or not, it is enough for them to get reckless drivers to think twice. Because of that, they welcome these cameras because in that sense you are right Justin, it takes a bit of a hand from big brotherin this day and age, unfortunately. Where did I insult you? I asked you a question and I think it is a fair one considering the constant nagging you do when it comes to anything government/law enforcement. If you don't want to answer it, just say so. Ummm, I'm just calling you out because you seem to have no problems bashing a profession that you've never had to work yourself. I happen to be married to one and I do know about all of the hardships they have to deal with, so yeah, it irks me when people sit so comfortably on the sidelines and do nothing but complain when it's those men and women that are keeping your streets safe. You mean this question: " Is your goal to live in anarchy?" I didn't take that as a real question, because it is such a weird thing to say. I thought you were just being facetious, as nobody could actually be asking someone if they were an anarchist if they KNEW they weren't. I have said many, many times on these boards that I do NOT want an anarchial society. I cannot abide big government, government that exists only to increase its bloated bureaucracy, and is forever seeking new ways of taking money from people so that it can feed its many parasites that are disguised as "government employees". Now don't misinterpret, I meant only that government needs about 30% of the workers that it has. And it tends to be top heavy, everybody wants to call themselves a "manager" or something similar and I believe that government needs a higher percentage of "hands-on" workers. I read somewhere that in America (probably like the rest of the world) about 40% of the working population work for the government in one way or another. I also have a real obsession with HONESTY and DISHONESTY. And this is all about STEALING from the motorist. They are extorting money from motorists when they have no evidence of wrong doing and hoping that he will not notice and just pay up - well even you must see how dishonest that is. The libertarian in me tells me that it is dishonest to "fine" (or penalise in any way) a VICTIMLESS CRIME anyway, and that is just what this is. That is what most motoring offences are really. It is a whole other story when someone hits another car or a pedestrian with their car, or causes a traffic accident to happen, but disobeying an arbitrary rule - such as a speed limit or not wearing a seatbelt - hurts no one, it is just designed to "line the coffers" of government. And if you are going to say "oh, but POTENTIALLY it may hurt someone", well the answer to that is: That's just what it is - potential, nothing more! First, what I put in bold begs to ask the question, why have you said it many, many times? Perhaps because you are defending yourself in the way you come across to other people? There is not nor will there ever be a "perfect" system. Why? People are not perfect. Believe me, I understand your grip when it comes to government! One of my favorite sayings from Reagan is "Government's first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives". Ahh, but there is that word protect. Well, guess what law enforcements main objective is? There are sayings such as "noodle legs" and "red asphalt" that beg to differ when it comes to telling motorists speed shouldn't matter. While the seat belt law only affects the individual who makes the choice not to wear it, speed affects anyone involved in an accident because of it.
  19. Thanks, LadyC. Where did I insult you? I asked you a question and I think it is a fair one considering the constant nagging you do when it comes to anything government/law enforcement. 20. My husband is CHP and believe me... I can tell you that there is enough activity out here that he usually has to pass up the minor violations to deal with the more serious ones that are ENDANGERING LIVES! To keep up with it all and since we now have the technology, they NEED these cameras at traffic lights. People running red lights and smashing into and killing people isn't a real good thing, ya know? And yes, it personally ticks him and his officer friends off when people are reckless drivers. He isn't thinking about some quota but rather walking up to the car that was speeding at 100 mph and letting him know just how stupid he is being in that he not only could've killed himself but someone else. It's NOT something they take lightly despite your obvious and paranoid feelings towards those in authority. You always complain about this kind of stuff BTS but as I've said before, until you put on a uniform yourself and put yourselves in their shoes, you need to tone it down! Is your goal to live in anarchy? Haha, I agree although I know if I were driving a motorcycle out here I simply wouldn't be stupid enough to pull something like that in the first place, law or not. I guess. It just seems it would be too easy to get away with something like that since I can't imagine it is easy to idenifiy the people in the car on any of the videotapes.
  21. I'm not sure most would be dismissed. I can only imagine they realized from the get-go the easy use of that excuse and probably have a way of dealing with it. AMEN!!!! I can not get over how reckless they are on the roads! What I don't get is, our laws allow them to pass in between lanes... and nine of ten times I never even notice them until they pass me. I keep thinking once they are by me, what if I had decided to switch lanes right before that?!?! I would have nailed him/her! Then you have the mountain roads where they use them like an amusement park ride. If they are going to thrill-seek, at least they can do it in the desert on mountain bikes where it doesn't involve other motorists who are simply looking to safely make it up/down without driving over the edge, etc.
  22. Joy Behar is just as obnoxious and nasty on her morning show "The View". Why should we care what she has to say? Good question. Her opinion is just that and she has always been crass and very liberal in her views. As far as the purity ring thing goes, I didn't see it but I did hear about it. It was on some MTV awards show that I watched for the first few minutes. A guy from the U.K. was hosting and not 5 minutes into he told us that we HAVE to vote for Obama blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. So, it doesn't surprise me he would have put down these boys for their outward decision to make a smart and classy choice.
  23. Haha! I guess so!! Their ratings have been in the toilet for a while so we'll see if this makes any bit of difference. I highly doubt it. This Maddow that was hosting Olbermann's show for a while is just as arrogant and snotty as Olbermann himself and so OF COURSE MSNBC would give her her own show.
