Hello Elena, Actually there are two different viewpoints of Daniel 9:27. One viewpoint is that there still is another 7 years of tribulation from which you are speculating that this could have some relationship. The other viewpoint is that Jesus completed the first 3 1/2 years of the last 7 years during his ministry and that there is only 3 1/2 years of that last week left in which the false messiah (antichrist) shall rise. The more one studies the Bible the more the Lord tends to humble us in what we do not truly understand. As soon as we think we know each intricate detail of a passage the Lord quickly shows us how falliable we truly are. As far as the typical interpretation that the four beasts of Daniel 7 as the empires of Babylon, Persia, Greece and Rome. This is a question I have for you: In verse 17, These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth. Shall arise as in a FUTURE Event. If Daniel who had a vision of the 4 beasts in the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon then it should not read SHALL arise referring to a future event.
