Titus 3:
4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared,
5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy
He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
7 that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs
according to the hope of eternal life.
8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly,
that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works.
These things are good and profitable to men.
Romans 8:
23 Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit,
even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption,
the redemption of our body.
24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope;
for why does one still hope for what he sees?
25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
Therefore, we can conclude that those who hold to this hope of eternal life must
commit to a life of good works in accordance with the Father's Will, and not become
bogged down with vain wrangling of doctrines that state that this is "works based"
attempts to earn salvation. This is what is required of those who are called and chosen,
to be faithful. This is toward finding and knowing Him, not merely knowing of Him.
Jeremiah 29:
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace
and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
Matthew 7:
7 Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock,
and it will be opened to you.
8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds,
and to him who knocks it will be opened.
