Grace to you,

My Church uses the same format for the young'ins sometimes. It's called "Letter's to God." They give the kids a paper and a crayon or other writing instrument and then ask them to write a letter to God. It starts with "Dear God." Then they write what's on their hearts.

Then they turn the paper over and listen for the Lord's response.

Sometime's our Pastor does this in the service with the adults.

He say's, "If the Lord responds with how much He Loves you. You can be sure it isn't satan because he hates you and would offer up condemnation and it certainly isn't you because you don't think that highly of yourself."

Peace,

Dave

That's beautiful!

I use my journal a lot, writing keeps me focussed. I am also in the habit of writing my prayers down on a piece of paper, and then throwing it in the bin. Sounds odd, but it's my way of leaving things in the hands of God after I have given it to Him.
