Not sure how they're going to work around keeping something as large as a car cold enough for long enough, but it is still impressive. Ok ok ... how about a hover board. lol And there is some study suggesting high temperature superconduction is possible up to around 250 K anyways. The Blade Runner car was for dramatic effect. : p It's interesting stuff though eh. When a breakthrough occurs it leads to exponential invention for a short time. They need to have superconductivity at high temperatures though to make it commercially viable. It makes for mind boggling applications and imagine the efficiency of solar panels made from a HTSC material. ...It would be very cool driving a Landspeeder .... and no tyres to replace!!
