I was helping my sister-in-law move couple years ago-and she was actively being stalked at the time. I open carried my .45 (biggest handgun I own-and not what I typically carry for self defense) as well as two spare mags of ammo. I wanted that stalker-whoever it was, to know if they messed with her (or me) when I was around, theyd find themselves on the losing end. Thankfully, nothing ever happened. But I do typically conceal carry out of respect for those around me. And yes, if theres probably cause-most certainly, the cop should stop and frisk. but no random stops.
