Guest shiloh357
I guess Harvard professors who were all for Obamacare are now no longer for it now that it's effecting their healthcare costs. For the longest time, the discussion on Obamacare was purely academic and on that level, both those who love freedom and liberty and those who support Obamacare were pretty much standing on level ground. But now that Obamacare is effecting lives, in a mostly negative way, some of those paragons of healthcare on the Left who touted the greatness of Obamacare are singing a different tune now that they see what they are actually getting from it. "Members of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the heart of the 378-year-old university, voted overwhelmingly in November to oppose changes that would require them and thousands of other Harvard employees to pay more for health care. The university says the increases are in part a result of the Obama administration’s Affordable Care Act, which many Harvard professors championed." http://www.nytimes.com/2015/01/06/us/health-care-fixes-backed-by-harvards-experts-now-roil-its-faculty.html?smid=tw-nytimes&_r=

This whole thing seems to be a convoluted attempt at doing just that. What we will pay for is bigger government and health care will continue on the path it always has. I mean what has changed that it has been taken off the list of "crisis"? It was a crisis when Hillary attempted in the 90's then a crisis with Obama and now what structure has been rebuilt to end the "crisis"? And what exactly was the crisis and has it been diverted? So, shut up, and pay up!

It really is and they will face more and more. As the academic life spills into real life they will face the reality of their ideals. Academia needs to stay in academia land. What goes on in Disneyland is for Disneyland and what goes on in college needs to stay in college. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. There is a principle in there somewhere.
