Iranian agents detain Christian leaders

(Worthy News) - Earlier this month, agents from Iran's Ministry of Security raided the homes of Christian leaders in the city of Rasht.

According to Barnabas Aid, Yasser Mossayebzadeh, Saheb Fadaie and Mohammad Reza Omidi remain in custody, their whereabouts unknown.

Iran allows some freedom of worship for Armenian and Assyrian churches provided  they do not worship in Farsi -- the language spoken by most Iranian Muslims. However, its government has harassed any Christians who have converted from Islam.

Iranian security is closely linked to the Islamic Republic's Revolutionary Guard that protects its Islamic revolution.
