How many times have I heard, "...but that is not inspired by God." Some are even afraid to look at "non-canonical" writings. This fear has maybe been bred into us. What about the Ethiopian Canon? It includes much of what we are afraid to embrace. [Because Rome had no power over them] Yeshuah, and the prophets and some Apostles refer to the "non-canonical" writings and quote them in our "inspired Bible". Much can be learned in Jasher and Enoch and other interesting and contemporary writings of Jesus' times and earlier. If you actually study the cannon of our 66 books and their final choosing by Roman and other scholars, you will note a thread of anything but spirituality in those dealings. One-upmanship being the least and heresy of the Roman 'current flavor doctrine' being the greatest. To imagine that austere body of 'scholars' today, that even called for the death sentence for anyone owning a copy of any part of the bible privately (commoners that is). To imagine such power today would be laughed at, but that power has seeped into our everyday Christian experience. Much of what we are told about ALL SCRIPTURE BEING PROFITABLE... seems to have been lost in the current mish-mash and plethora of man made works trying to 'explain' stuff that is hidden due to our fear of the unknown. Take a look in the library of most 'evangelical' preachers. You will see dozens of man made hypothetical treatise on the gospels and others of the 66 books. Even Isiah was in question until the dead Sea scrolls were ratified and found genuine, along with parts of Enoch etc. Why not be a radical? Be the first in your church to embrace the same books that Yeshuah and Paul studied. Go see for yourself. Study to show that you are indeed worthy. Note: I think one of the main reason that some kind of anathema is attached to those other writings is that Satan and his works of the Fallen ones (called Watchers) would rather you did not know the whole matter in perspective. To keep people in the dark has often been one the adversary's main accomplishments. ooh: now here is a thought; the number of man is 6. The current cannon is 66 books. Connect the sixes... Just a thought. Keep thinking! ...and the Truth shall set your free... Edited September 14, 2017 by Justin Adams spelling
