Well, we live in a country and a culture that has been desensitized to murdering police officers. The Black Lives Matter movement inspired and promoted the killing of police officers and they emboldened many to do just that. We here it enough on the news that it has become common place, where at one time it shocked us. But the media has made sure that when stuff like this happens, we distracted with something else.
