Certainly we see that in Christ. We as Christians are called by Christ to show love to one another. However, is love ever defined in the New Testament? Love being the greatest commandment I would think that it is defined in a really clear way but I don’t know that I’ve read anything that does in the New Testament. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Follow by clicking https://www.desiringgod.org/articles/the-meanings-of-love-in-the-bible My own add on is that the entirety of the Bible is a revealing of our Lord Jesus who loved God the Father and is God Himself. I believe the Old Testament as well as the New Testament reveals and teaches love to us. There are many types of love but really one love subject. We are to love God. May the article with it's detail be of help to you in your own reading of the Bible and in your own walk. - Amen.
