Bush SR. avoided an invasion of Iraq, like the plague.

When criticized at the time, for not taking out Saddam when he had the chance, he as much as said that to so would be the epitome of stupidity.

That to invade Iraq would create a three way civil war between Sunni, Shia, & Kurds. It would be an unmanageable, uncontrollable situation that would destabilize the region for decades.

P.N.A.C. and this administration chose to ignore the warnings in their quest to exert the criminal doctrine of world dominance.

Yes I remember the flowers thing and I also remember Bush Sr. saying that Eadora. He received a lot of criticism for not marching into Bagdad; looks like he made the right decision about that.

I recently read a Biography on Reagan Charlie and you should see his response on why he didn't start a war in the middle east. It's very enlightening and insightful.
