We all know that we won't live on earth forever. Even science knows this. At best, another comet will hit the sun, or earth, and extend the likelyhood of living, but if not, we have about a few million more years, before the sun will roast both earth and mars, and eliminates all life in our solar system; and a few trillion, trillion, trillion years before this whole galaxy and universe will return to be one glob of atoms floating around, with no stars for energy sources, and an average temperature of 5 degrees Kelvin. For an approximation of what science expects what will happen, watch this fascinating (though not 100% accurate of course) video of what the most likely phases are we're going to go through in the next most likely, science predicted ages: Edited February 7, 2020 by MeeLee
