OK, well time to touchdown from whatever oxygen poor level of the atmosphere someone may be orbiting the earth from

THE facts.  Nothing but THE facts

Caffeine causes your nervous system to speed up and the body may produce sweat to regulate your internal temp.

Coffee, is a stimulant and that is why so many of us imbibe first thing in the am...yawning usually accompanies this beverage as we try to take in more oxygen.

I'm no doctor but I sure do like my coffee. ;)

Ever since I learned that light roast coffee has more caffiene content than medium or dark roast, I started brewing a light roast in the morning.

I'll skip the Red Bull. No glassy stare for me. :emot-shakehead:

Caffeine is a stimulant, my friend. Doctors advise patients to abstain from caffeinated beverages --- particularly coffee, which generally contains the highest concentration of that stimulant --- after 2pm in the afternoon. Why?

Because caffeine interferes with the sleep cycle. It can lead to sleepless nights.

@Marathoner My wife will drink only decaffeinated coffee after a certain hour....

(I don't regard this as a "religious" thing, though.)

That's what I try to do myself, my friend. Sleep deprivation is a terrible thing, making us vulnerable to circumstances we otherwise handle with aplomb. The effects of sleep deprivation are incremental, sneaking up on us until we are an absolute psychological mess.

Actually with most coffees they're usually about the same across the board...but come one if one wanted to drink flavored water, koolaids far easier to make. Go bold or go home :P

No jk...the nice thing about coffee is there's enough varieties that everyone can find something they like.

Even if it is caffeinated water 😂😂😂
