There are dozens of references showing that the apostles taught the return of Christ was to be expected, that the dead would be resurrected. There are no references that specifically say they taught of going to heaven. There are references that say the dead will be judged when Christ returns. There are no references that say they will be judged when they die or go to heaven. How can the dead be assigned to heaven or hell before they are judged? There are scriptures that say the apostles expected to meet Christ when He returns. There are no scriptures that say the apostles expected to meet Christ in heaven. This idea is also mentioned in John 6:44, John 14:2-3, I John 2:28, 3:2. Why didn
